We really loved our four day stay at the Camar Resort. Our room was in the ground floor and opened up to the pool - amazing. The private beach was great and quiet. The breakfast was decent but not spectacular and I imagine we would have grown tired of the choices after more than 4 days. It was the low season so the resort was very quiet which was great for us. There were a number of awesome and really affordable restaurants around so you didn’t feel like you had to eat at the resort for every meal (although the food was quite good at the hotel). The service at the resort was top notch and I think that is what truly sets Camar apart from the others.

The facility is well maintained and cleaned. Beach is literally in front of the property and the view from beachside restaurant is pretty too. This area was quiet compared to pantai cenang area, so I recommend if you want to chill and relax at the beachside. Currently construction is ongoing next to this resort so sometimes got noise, but it didnt really bother us. Good stay!

Amazing experience. Wonderful staff who were always helpful. Private beach was so tranquil. Robots delivering breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommend and will be returning again in the future.

Thanks so much to the nice and supportive staffs. Although we enjoyed our stay, I think this resort has a great potential to improve. Maybe a renewal of the building and facilities are needed in near future.

We had an amazing 7 night stay at The Camar, the room was very comfortable and overlooked the great long pool, Breakfast was good, the staff were truly wonderful. The location is on a pretty beach on the edge of town, away from all the clamor but near enough for either a long walk or short taxi ride. The hotel run a scuttle service. There are pretty of restaurants and bars in the area. Would highly recommend

The best hotel deal I’ve ever had 👍👍 We stayed at the full ocean view room with a private balcony. Every morning we enjoyed the view from our room. It has a big tub with ocean view. Every staff gives you service here. They are all professional and speak English very well. We didn’t like the pool area because there were many kids. water temperature was cold for me. Beach side was so peaceful and quiet. That’s exactly what we wanted. Shower was good. They use a good lemon grass products for shampoo and body. They give you toothbrush and razor blade. Breakfast was good. Many different Kind of food. Coffee was kind of weak for us. They make you craps, different style eggs, egg Benedict ..etc We also tried the alun spa which was recommended by hotel. They provide a pickup/drop off service. We checked prices in 4 different places in town. Everybody charges same price. This place had a best set up. I would recommend that place. Hotel concierge will book an appointment for you. I have no negative comment about this place. Only suggestion would be I wish beach wasn’t a little more cleaner. Overall I highly recommend this place to people who want to have quiet and relax vacation. We travel every month and visited many different places in Asia. Never had this kind of good deal. Very happy about it.

15mins from airport n grab costs myr14. Nothing much in that area. Resort ptovides free shuttle to cenang mall though we didn’t hv time to use it. We grab to every other place. Night market is a must visit! Resort bfast was excellent though no desserts like puffs n cakes. Mr Ganesan whom greeted us at bfast table was very hospitable! The beach is beautiful! Island hopping is a must! Nothing to shop around except their famous ointment. Reception counter was very welcoming as well! Will choose the same resort again.

Love the premier villa and the short walk to the private beach area. Sea and beachfront restaurant has awesome views. Food is secondary. The only setback was there is construction on the site next to this resort, causing some noise pollution.

Had the pool all to ourselves. Weather was a bit hot, but you can chill off at Sun Spa just across the road. You can walk to Pulau Cenang (beach street for food and souvenir) and The Zon (shopping) in the evening. Staff were very friendly and will always greet when see guest.

This is a new resort and it got the private beach. The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast is great. Location is great, near to Cenang beach and 25mins drive to Kuah town. This is good resort and you will never regret to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at Camar Resort, Langkawi. This is not a 5* hotel and this is reflected in the price, but also the service and standards. We were not disappointed as we chose to balance our budget with comfort and we got both. The beach is great, with soft white sand and is clean. The water is not so clean and when we were there was full of sea nettles and so we were unable to swim for very long. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We had a lovely view out to the beach and sea from the second floor. The service was good, and the rooms were cleaned daily and there was a turn-down service. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch was fine. Its not fine dining or world class cuisine, but it was tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful and the service was you would expect. The location is really great and makes this a great place to stay.

Nice hotel facing the beach. Nice swimming pool (although water is a bit cloudy), hotel staff, beach bar, and especially the buffet + a la carte breakfast. I have never stayed in a hotel that serves a la carte breakfast with quite a variety of delish food menu to choose from. Everything is good, except the room, which we think for the price we are paying, it can be better.
