Fantastic location in historic building about one city Avenue away from main Plaza, Catalunya-Wonderful welcoming from very helpful KAISHA SHE WAS BEYOND AMAZING GAVE IDEAS ABOUT EVERYTHING MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS RIGHT IN THE APARTMENT WALKED US THROUGH EVERYTHING IN THE APARTMENT BEFORE SHE LEFT, GIVING US THE KEYS IN PERSON, SUCH EASY CHECK-IN AND ABSOLUTE PLEASURE AND CHANGE IN THE BESTWAY FROM EVERYTHING WE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING OTHER PLACES SHE SET US UP FOR A WONDERFUL STAY COMFORTABLE, CLEAN PERFECT LOCATION!

I liked the location of the property, downtown area. The suite was comfortable enough, big windows and nice layout and view. But the sewage smell that emanated from the bathroom drain made it almost impossible to live inside. We opened the windows, but the smell was too strong. There was no help with towels, changing bed sheets. Overall I will not recommend it to anyone, mostly because of the sewage smell.

The property has a great location. Walking distance to Las Ramblas and shopping. Lots of eating options too. The property was great for our family of four but we would have been equally as comfortable if there were six of us. The communication was excellent via email and text to get access to the apartment. We would highly recommend the apartment.

Overall, the location is excellent however the apartment does not live up to the untruthful listing or expectations for the price. There is a kitchen "area" but of the 3 pans provided, all of which were frying pans, none worked on the induction hob. Bring your own pans? There is no oven, just a microwave. So basically, it's a microwave and a fridge. Oh, and the racks in the fridge door are missing so forget being able to store open juice, wine, milk etc. There was enough hot water each morning for 1.5 short showers. For an apartment that sleeps 5 that cost over 1300 Euros, this is unacceptable. The finish in the bathroom showers is pretty poor also as the sealant looks like it was applied by a blind cobbler and is impossible to keep clean.

The staff contacted is in advence before Our stay and planned How to get the keys and check in just 8 houses/ apartments away from Our location where we would stay . It was like a great penthouse with three double beds and two singel beds. It was Fresh and spacious with a kitchen , nice balcony. Two bathrooms and the area around near pl Cataluña was great. We Will return . It felt like a luxious stay .

Location is excellent. The place we got was too spacious, it could easily fit2 small families. For people looking at this option, remember, its an apartment not a hotel! Theres no 24 h concierge! The person who welcomed us was available by phone, he requested a a taxi to the airport for us, but again, you are given the keys and you're in and out on your own, which was fine with us. It would have been nice if there were few coffee pods (Nespresso machine was there) with some tea bags and sugar sachets. Recommend it.

My family of 6 arrived and immediately had contact with Albert from Serennia. He gave us perfect instructions and met us at the door. Checked us in, gave us a tour, recommendations, and advice. The room was perfect for all of us, plenty of room, great air conditioner, close to absolutely everything we could imagine.

Right in the centre of the city, this place is spacious and within walking distance of most attractions. Loads of shops and bars nearby and readily available taxis and public transport if you’re less keen on walking. Albert and his team are super accommodating and really welcoming -nothing is too much trouble. Perfect for a larger group of friends or family (like we were!).

The location was very convenient and Albert was efficient. We were in a 3-bedroom apartment on the 1st floor, the main bedroom was on the Main Street side, very noisy all night, the windows do not keep the noise out which is a shame. The apartment sleeps 7, we were 6, plenty of room, however, the kitchen is not very well equipped, we only wanted to cook breakfast and have pre-dinner drinks in the place but there was no frying pan, only 3 champagne glasses and no wine glasses, no tea towel. Loads of plates though??

Great location. Incredibly helpful staff on arrival. Gave great tips for sightseeing and transportation. Apartment had nice layout but condition could have been better. Fridge handle hanging off and bathroom was looking very tired. Apartment could do with a bit of upgrading. Certainly not a terrible accommodation and for sure Didn’t spoil a thoroughly lovely experience in Barcelona.

Awful Experience. The air conditioning was broken when we arrived. There are three bedrooms but only one has air conditioning. No hot water in the shower. The staff was rude when we reported the a/c problem. They told us they were to busy to help and it wasn’t their problem. We were told they would change our towels and once we asked for the towels they said we were responsible for washing them. We bought detergent and washed the towels and the dryer did not work, we had wet towels. Cold showers and wet towels. Two nights with a broken a/c and they finally sent a technician, to no avail. A/C still did not work properly. Uncomfortably hot in the apartment. It was an awful experience. We chose this place for the a/c since my husband and sister are diabetic. It was simply horrible. The condition of the apartment and the staffs lack of hospitality were inexcusable. The have a concierge for the building which I explained my distress and she offered to help by taking the wet towels to the terrace to dry. Would never recommend this property. Ruined my vacation in Barcelona. A lot of my time was spent trying to contact the management office and getting the problems corrected.

Spacious apartment with three(!) bathrooms, which was very nice for six of our family members to prepare in the mornings. Staff was nice and informative, and we were welcomed to store our luggages after our check-out which was very efficient. Obviously its location is very central and easy to access. Although the bathrooms and its facilities appear slightly old, we had in overall very pleasant stay!

Overall the Serennia Apartments was not a “bad” stay, but there are some areas that need definite improvementPros : This property has an excellent location, minutes from most everything that we wanted to do. It seemed like a safe area, there were restaurants, stores, shopping, etc located minutes away. The location is the best thing this property has going for it. The Staff is great. Albert went out of his way to assist us, we asked for coffee pods, he had them at our door a bit later. He even booked our taxi for us going to the airport the morning of our departure. The Room/Space - the apartment had a great view and plenty of space for our family of four. It had a little terrace where we could sit and have coffee or wine, a sitting area with a view overlooking the city street, and a living room. We did not feel cramped at all. The Cons:Cleanliness - The apartment was “just cleaned” and finished as we were arriving and checking in, but on getting into the apartment at the 4:00pm allowed checkin time the dishwasher was still running, there was an old towel on the top shelf and a dirty, used tissue as well. It was a little gross. The Bathroom - The bathroom was also dirty. Beside the toilet were obvious pee stains on the wall where the cleaners had missed or forgot to clean. The shower was also one of the worst we have ever stayed in. The water backed up and caused you to stand in an inch or two of water. There was mold and rot along the floor.
