Beautiful, well-preserved colonial property. Cute pool and garden area. Tasty breakfast. Far from centre but very quiet and some good cafes/restaurant nearby. Rebecca and other staff were excellent in helping to arrange taxis, money (Cuba can be complicated) and other advice. Thank you very much.

Beautiful place. Yes it’s old but its beauty takes you back in time with its caymans ship. I would definitely recommend

The house is so nice, the pool and the areas very good.

This villa had great furnishing decorations and a nice pool. Staff were great. However, the advertised queen size bed we paid for was in fact a small double, it was not comfortable, and one side was in fact, very uncomfortable, leaving my wife with a sore back for several days afterwards. The bed looked "historically stylish" but was well passed its "use by date" and needs urgent replacement. We were told that none of the rooms had queen sized beds.

This is absolutely a perfect place to stay if you are visiting Havana! It is beautiful, comfortable and every single staff member is a delight!! The decorations in the property are so unique, everywhere you turn there is something interesting to look at. The staff members are so helpful, even when there was a language barrier, we worked through it together and laughed. Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced and the restaurant across the street we feel in love with and dined there several times. I could not recommend La Villa Teresa enough if you are looking to adventure in Havana.

Nice stay with a lovely pool. Cool villa. Location is pretty off but felt safe. We stayed there the night before our fight back home which was perfect for that reason. Friendly staff!

A great property. Feels like living in at pre 1959 Havana residence because of all the museum pieces displayed. But the property was well updated. Great staff, always ready to help (Thanks Clara). The pool was perfect so were the breakfasts. You feel like being at the top of Havana since this property is on top of a high hill. A bit away from the center of the town but is a mere 10US taxi ride from most sights. Only little concern. One resident was constantly smoking a cigar even during breakfast. I know Cuba is known for its cigar production but a little courtesy would have been appreciated. Overall a great experience that I can warmly recommend

As soon as I arrived at the La Villa I was completely captured by its beauty and charm. The inside is absolutely incredible! It is like stepping back in time! The villa features many gorgeous antiques, which greatly adds to its charm. The staff and the owner of the manor were absolutely stellar! They were welcoming, kind, and expressed the utmost hospitality ! Also I would like to mention that in front of the property there is a really nice view of Havana. The view is absolutely stunning at night! So if you are planning on staying in Havana, I highly recommend the beautiful La Villa Teresa!

I had a wonderful stay. I loved the staff and breakfast. The hotel is beautiful. It was very clean. It is an old historic building and a few things were a little in disrepair but I learned how difficult it is to get anything in Cuba, like materials. I enjoyed several meals at the restaurant across the street and they were good. There were other choices nearby but the streets are dark and lonely in this neighborhood. Also, I never had a problem taking a taxi into Old Havana but trying to get back can be challenging and expensive. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. The staff went above and beyond and I appreciated all of them!

Most beautyful casa particular in Havanna, with pool and any convenience, like a new museum of havanna. With fantastic view over the city.

La Villa Teresa is a unique and excellent small hotel. It has an idyllic swimming pool, impressive views, and period decor which takes one back to the early twentieth century. We experienced very good service and were happy with breakfast and the airport transfer arranged.
The only issue is the location - the hotel is in a part of town that even taxi drivers are unfamiliar with, and is over an hour on foot to the key tourist sites in Havana (e.g. Revolution Square). The area is pleasant and safe, however, and if you’re either happy paying for taxis ($15-20 into town) or you’ve already seen Havana and are happy relaxing by the pool or on the terrace, then I’d happily recommend this hotel.

Love love love staying at la villa Teresa! Not my first time and definitely not my last. It’s such a beautiful mansion, the cleanliness is top notch, the staff is amazing, specially Clara in the day time. Always someone to accommodate you, 24 hour assistance, the breakfast is amazing, quantity, quality and money wise. The rooms are cosy and well maintained, the garden all around and the pool are just fabulous, the roof top view is one of a kind, and the owners if you are ever lucky to meet them are just so accommodating and kind. Being married to a Cuban, I go often and know a lot, this place is a gem. 10/10.

Amazing views of the entire city and country side. Far from old Havana. Breakfast not included but worth the US$8 a day. Nice swimming pool. Good WiFi for Havana

La Villa Teresa was beautiful inside and out, like a Castle. The decor was wonderful. Most of all, the owner and his staff were everything, great, friendly and helpful. Very nice plants and trees around the home. Will be back and have already shared this place with others I know to stay here when they are in Havana, Cuba.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious, the staff were attentive to our needs supplying advice on nearby restaurants, booking taxis for trips into central Havana and dealing with our queries about money exchange. The breakfasts were always ample and well prepared. There was a quiet pool at the rear of the property which was an ideal place to relax.

I liked the property and how picturesque it was. The staff was very friendly and helpful in guiding me with whom to exchange money. Housekeeping was excellent and came by the rooms daily. I always returned to fresh towels, the bed made, and the bathroom cleaned and organized. However, the location was very far from central park, so I spent quite a bit on taking taxis back and forth. The wifi was good for the first few days but eventually stopped working in my room, and I'd have to go to the lobby area if i needed to surf the net or do anything online. Aside from that, the property was beautiful, the pool was great, and the views from my terrace were excellent.

I arrived late at night and it felt an unusual location which had me feeling like I made the wrong choice. Oh, how I was wrong sunrise. The hotel is beautifully designed with an amazing compound area. There are works to what I beleive will be an extension but it will not affect your stay. Staff and owner happy to help always. Although it isn't close to the tourist traps, that is the allure. Book and wait to have an enjoyable stay

Gorgeous property. So much to see. So many antiques. The stay felt surreal. Great place to relax and get away. Restaurant under construction. Only breakfast provided at a cost. Restaurant across the street made me a soup when I felt sick. Menu looked very nice.

A beautiful property and a wonderful staff. The owner took the time to do me a serious favor- he offered to let me PayPal him for cash at no charge, because incase all you Americans didn’t know- NOTHING from America works as far as bank cards. No ATM’s no P.O.S. Systems, nothing . Fortunately, the owner is from Italy, so PayPal actually worked thru a VPN. Cheers to Mr. Silvo, and his lovely family. See you soon!

Carla was very welcoming! The place is so so beautiful and well looked after. They have a rooftop terrace where you can watch the sunset and get a panoramic view as the villa is on on a high point in Havana. Only negative point was that unlike the description there is no wifi in your rooms so you have to go to the ground floor sitting area to get wifi :/ also we were on the top floor and had heavy luggage which we had to carry all the way up and down as they have to lifts. But the stay was otherwise amazing! Would highly recommend!

Unbelievable oasis in a "nearby to Havana" neighborhood - absolutely beautiful, artfully appointed villa in a historic area. The pool is incredible, service flawless and kind, cannot recommend highly enough - will return.
