Oh my gosh, this is the worst hotel I ever stayed at. Rooms are about the size of a shoebox. Motel 1 is a very fitting name, as it is 5 steps below Motel 6. We had to keep our suitcases in the shower due to lack of space. I stayed with my boyfriend, and we couldn’t even walk by each other. I banged my brush against the shower door just trying to brush my hair. My boyfriend hit his head on the wall when he sneezed in the bathroom. It’s literally that tiny of a room if you have a king sized bed. We only had one tiny chair in the room, and we had to spend all of our time outside of the room. Hotels.com advertises this hotel to be air conditioned, but when I inquired about the lack of A/C, they insulted Americans by saying the we don’t know the difference between air conditioning and ventilation. When I asked about the missing desk in the room (which would have meant a slightly bigger room), they said I didn’t request it at check in, and hence I was out of luck. The only plus was the location. Very close to Römer. Most employees were alright, not super friendly. Bar staff and cleaning staff were probably the friendliest. By the way, I stayed at two other hotels in Frankfurt, and both of them were great.

Perfect for a short trip to the center of Frankfurter

Nice location and very comfortable property, optional breakfast was very good and worth the additional cost.
4.5
The location is very good, and the lobby looks cool. Besides these, other things are all so so. The room is very small, no desk, only a small round table, one chair, carpet smell bad, no animinations, no coffe maker or kettle. The front desk staffs are snobby. There is no place for car to stop to unload luggage. It's our last city during this 2 weeks German tour and we stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. I wish I had chosen a more comfortable place.

Great location, friendly and helpful customer service

Great short stay in Frankfurt. I was happy to have AC on such a hot day, but it struggled to maintain comfort with rhe humidity. A refrigerator in the room would have been a big bonus, but not a deal breaker. We had a king room, which was fairly small.
Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

I will always stay here when I visit Frankfurt. The best part is the tram stop right at the front door. It's also 3 stops from the main train station. I was super impressed that one of the young ladies at the front desk remembered me from a previous stay weeks earlier. They are so friendly and the hotel is really worth it.

It was a very clean room. the beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet.

Impressive breakfast spread and bar area.
Fun furniture and lighting. Very Quiet- but no coffee or tea device in the room.

Great location close to shops, train, bus and old town.

It was an easy tram ride from the train station and to the airport. The location was great for walking around.

Nice clean room. Bed sheet wasn’t the best, it mattress and pillows were comfy. Bathroom was nice. Very nice hotel lobby & restaurant.

We were very happy with our stay at Motel One, except we found it hard to find since it had scaffolding and fabric covering the front.
The tram stop Karmeliterkloster (lines 11, 12, 14) is directly out front. The breakfast wasn’t include in our room, but it had lots options. The hotel was in a good location for walking around the alstadt. I would definitely recommend it. The walk-in shower was a big plus!

The hotel is located in a perfect location to explore Frankfurt on foot. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, pillows, air conditioning and shower pressure are all great. The 2 things that are not there are a mini-fridge and a desk.
4.5
Very comfortable and conveniently located near the main train station. Friendly staff who accommodated us after a very early arrival
4.5
The hotel was super close to the old town (Romerburg) which was the reason for booking. But a bit of a hike from the main train station (we walked it) but would recommend an Uber.
The bar and breakfast options were exceptional, the bar tender was second to none.
The hotel is huge but the trade off is that the rooms were pretty compact and not too much space either side of the bed for luggage, but that is part and parcel of being in a bigger town.
Would recommend to others though it was a lovely place to stay.

We had just arrived in the early morning and was planning to just drop off our packs and explore until check in at 3:00.
The front staff was very friendly and offered a different room in the 1st floor if we wanted now. That was the best news ever.
The room was clean and fine for our needs. We were able to shower after overnight flight in and set out to explore
The hotel was easy to walk to all the sites and many restaurants. Also easy to get to trains. Perfect location.
We wanted to be more towards the old town so this location worked well as it gave us a little of both.
They have a nice restaurant on site for morning breakfast and of course evening social event.
Highly recommend.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. It is a good value, with comfortably sized, well maintained, comfortable room in a great location.
4.5
The hotel and room were both nice and clean and the staff were friendly. Also very walkable and close to attractions, restaurants and hop on bus stop. My only complaint would be that they didn’t have a coffee maker or kettle in the room or one to use for the night so in the morning you can’t enjoy a nice coffee in your room you have to go downstairs to the bar/restaurant to have one or to get hot water to bring back up to your room. A little inconvenient.
4.5
I would say that there are no toothpaste, toothbrush, no hair dryer, no body lotion, no tea/coffee maker. It would be wonderful for such a price to have those things.
4.5
We enjoyed our stay here. So easy to walk to romer square or the river. Room was very clean, beds and pillows comfy. Would definitely stay here again.
4.5
The hotel was very pleasant with a large bar area and plenty of comfortable seating with tables in the communal areas and very well located in the city.
The rooms were very small but pleasant. However, our main disappointment was that this hotel doesn’t fit with its 4 star rating.
There are no extras in the rooms, not even water or glasses. There’s no coffee, tea, toiletries, slippers, dressing gowns. This was a shock, particularly as the price was much higher than other luxury hotels we have stayed it. When we asked if we could have some water, we were shocked to be told no and that this is a budget hotel. At E360 per night with breakfast, that certainly isn’t budget.
Breakfast was very nice and everywhere was very well appointed and pleasant. Staff were not particularly friendly on the whole, apart from one who, as we were leaving, apologised about the water but explained that this was hotel policy.
I am guessing that this hotel is mainly for quite young people on business trips so it’s pleasant and convenient for them and they don’t have to think about the value for money as they’re not paying themselves. This experience has put us off ever staying in a Motel One again.

The hotels lobby and hallways was at 80 degrees. My room was never cooler than 75 degrees, with an open window. I was miserable, sweating all night long. I got little to no sleep for 3 nights. Front desk offers no help. The outside temps at night were 35 degrees and the open window didn't cool the room? The road noise was obnoxious. 309 euros for a room that was uninhabitable, because of the hotels heat. Front desk didn't care. Don't stay here if you like/need to sleep!
4.5
There are almost no amenities in the room, only one body towel, the AC is on heat only, no coffee maker, no bottle of water..very disappointing.
4.5
Motel One is a very clean hotel. Staff were good. Rooms are small and only really appropriate for sleeping. Don't count on getting any work done as there is no desk.
The lounge on the main floor of this hotel is very comfortable.
The area of the hotel seems fine, but at night it's not well lit and there aren't many people around.
4.5
The hotel is tucked away from the pedestrian/tourist heavy areas, which were still just a few minutes away on foot. The large lounge area in the lobby was fantastic. As for the room, I was in a queen room facing the street - it was very quiet and comfortable, with modern arrangement and decor - a nice set up for relaxing as well for working in the room. A very comfortable and convenient place to stay for my quick few days in the city.

Such a good experience in this place. I expent nye night. Went to iron bridge before midnight return after midnight waking by myself in a crowded environment and I felt safe. Arrived to hotel all-right. Oh! They allowed me to use my room as soon i showed up at 11am instead of 3pm. ☺️
