Friendly staff, fairly quick check-in & out, good breakfast. Requested unit w/handicap accessibility. The tub had proper bars but it had a removable chair that prevented shower curtain from closing properly thus causing floor to get wet; not so safe for person w/handicap getting out of tub. Also, beds were too tall for handicap person to get into. When I asked if there was a unit w/beds that were easier for my mom to get in, we were offered a unit w/1 king bed, which wasn't really an option for mom & myself. The electric operated blinds were broken. They were rolled up & propped at an angle when we got there. There were also dust bunnies on everything over 6' high.

Wanted extra pillow. They never brought one. Next morning when I asked,they said they were short pillows. Shower was cold. People above me moving furniture all night. No help from Manager. Horrible stay

Blackout drapes were amazing! Hotel was quiet, even though it was right on the highway. Breakfast was good, attendant was cheerful and helpful. Beds were clean and comfortable. Only issue-no hot water in the morning (evening shower had plenty).

Stool was wobbly, and there was a sewer smell in the bathroom. After turning on the A/C, a heavy sulphur smell filled the room. Changed to heat and it gradually left. No drinking cups in room. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Check in and out very pleasant.

Staff at check in (Erica), and checkout were amazing! The gentleman helping with breakfast was so sweet and never stopped doing his job! The room was clean, the hotel itself was clean, and surprisingly, for being right next to the interstate, i didn't hear it. We would stay here again.

Oh my goodness I could talk and talk about this Wonderful Holiday Inn Express, We made our reservations at midnight two nights ago and arrived at 5:30 am… the receptionist was all smiles and made us feel so welcome even as she was about to get off her shift. She was simply delightful and just as sweet as can be. They got us all settled in as we were going to be staying a couple days. We opened the door to room 210 and it looked like it was off the pages of a magazine. , plenty of space for clothes to hang and lots of drawers if needed along with a refrigerator, coffee maker with tea and coffee, and even a microwave… so we were all set. The Beds were like sleeping on clouds.. so thank you for that, Bathroom was spotless and the shower felt so good,, The only thing I didn’t care for was the shower curtain was not long enough and just came to the top of the Tub therefore getting the floor wet. ( that’s why there are towels.. haha) The housekeepers were very kind, the ladies at the desk were awesome and so was a gentleman that I’m guessing was a maintenance man. Oh I forgot the Serve yourself breakfast..fresh made pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties or links, toast, cinnamon rolls, muffins and bagels . Plus every drink you might want at breakfast. Wonderful staff and stay! The afternoon and night staff especially were helpful and thoroughly explained the amenities. All the areas we went to within the hotel was clean. That is the entrance area, hotel room itself, the outside area near the pool, the gym, and the breakfast area. The room was clean and there was no sight of trash, debris on the floor, pests, or dust. I always do a cursory check through of the room when I come in, that includes pulling back the comforter, sheets and pillows, opening the drawers, fridge and microwave and checking the walls and ceiling for mold or mildew and found nothing unseemly. We were on the first floor closest to the pool and it was quiet throughout the night and morning. Parking in the back and front was easy to do and the area is quiet safe. It is walking distance to a Starbucks that is not more than a 3 minute walk away from the hotel and a huge Bucees that you can take a back way to. There was a Cinemark movie theater close (less than 6 mins by car away) and some restraunts nearby. This overall was a wonderful stay and will definitely be staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Coffee was ready earlier than the breakfast hours listed, so that was a big plus. Pool water was cool even on a day listed at feels like 107 degrees. Perfect location for anyone visiting UNT campus, but beware taking Dallas Drive BACK to the hotel because you have to enter and cross 3 lanes of IH 35 traffic to exit within a 1/2 mile. Easy walk to a couple of our favorite restaurants and just a short back road drive to the ever popular Buc-ee's! This will be a go-to location when we are back in this area.
