A hotel trying hard to be trendy and different and it succeeds in part. However once in my room it was pretty much like any good (but not great) hotel. Service was good at front desk and at the lounge. The rooms are clean and modern with a nice bathroom. For being so close to the airport it was super quiet. Favorite thing - a hotel that actually gives you plenty of coffee and sugar in the rooms! What I could do without - the pink (rose?) lighting was a little too Vegas. Also - I especially want to mention that when the airport shuttle was unexpectedly unavailable, the front desk arranged a taxi at their cost.

We always stay at The Rose when we fly out of O'Hare duebtonthe location and convenience. I was pleased to see there have been upgrades in the amenities, most importantly a refrigerator.

Super close to O-Hare. We stayed overnight to catch an early flight and took advantage of their shuttle. Nice bar in the lobby. All the staff was very friendly. Easy check in and easy check out. Decor was contemporary and inviting. The room was clean, huge shower with great water pressure. Comfy bed and pillows. The only issues was the toilet paper holder kept falling out of the wall and you could tell it had been like that for a while. The toilet paper then kept falling on the floor. Plus we booked through hotels.com and it stated the amenities included bathrobes and slippers and there were not any in the room. Our room did not have a fridge or micro, but we did not need it so it wasn't a factor at all. You could request one if you wanted.

When we checked in around 8.45pm the desk clerk told us that our king bedroom was not available. We were tired and disappointed, it was our wedding Anniversary. The woman on the front desk was brilliant. She apologised, found us a double queen bed room, offered us free breakfasts and a late (2pm) check out. We loved the Rose.

Enjoyed my stay here!

It is no different than a best western with a restaurant. In a good location, $30 to park our car. No refrigerator at all, simply not worth what they charge.

Great hotel. Will book again!

The hotel entrance was the best part . Rooms are very average. Booked a Double Room King ,but it seems to be a regular room with a king bed . Pictures on site are all similar .

Every employee was upbeat, knew how to help us and were obviously well recruited and well trained. Kudos to the management of this hotel.

Came in clutch when I was comped a hotel by AA that was awful. Lots of options close by, theaters, shopping, etc. Will definitely be staying again my next time in Chicago.

We did not get a clear instruction on how we should check out with the room card at the parking gate. We returned the room cards as normal and when we were exiting the parking gate, we were asked to pay. So we paid at the spot, then, the hotel also charged us for parking. That’s so confusing. Were we supposed to get the car out before returning the room cards back? I just called to the hotel front desk, Angie did not have a great attitude towards customers. My experience there were overall fine, but I am not too happy with the repeatedly parking charges.

The stay was okay. The bathroom had mould growing the grout. The sheet I had slept in also had some stain on it, which disappointed me a lot.

We were there for an overnight stay while flying back home from Italy. Staff was attentive and very friendly. We had a meal in the restaurant that was good tho a bit over priced. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Just what we needed for our 15 hour layover.

We visit Chicago several times a year and The Rose is where we have stayed every time for at least the last five years. Stayed many different places in the many years before that..The Rose pretty much checks all our boxes; nice price, very clean, easy highway access, lots of nearby dining options. It's also very convenient that there's a restaurant and bar on property. The only thing that would make it better would be free parking and refrigerators in the rooms...

Stay was nice. Friendly staff. Asked specifically to be in a room with a refrigerator. No refrigerator was supplied to our room. Made stay not as pleasant.

Aesthetically the hotel is gorgeous but the gentleman answering phones for shuttle is so out of pocket definitely shouldn’t be in hospitality if you can’t even be nice. My flight was cancelled it’s a Sold out weekend in Chicago I was lucky enough to settle for the accommodations I took the shuttle because it was 6 mins to airport and worked to not have to Uber. I walked to shuttle area and noticed it wasn’t there I called they said you have to call to be picked up. I did I was told 2E by jet blue and that shuttle was already on the way will be a minute or so, then I standing where told shuttle just drives by NO STOPPING AT E2… I cloning flabbergasted called guy says well where am I standing I explained I can see terminal 3 and Hilton side and looking at door for E2 2 different drivers both come a gentleman also waiting 45 mins no shuttle we had to walk to 2c….. to get on shuttle. I called multiple times and I was told just take a cab and get a receipt……. I shouldn’t have to take anything out of my own pocket after paying to stay with the shuttle included especially for a 6 minute ride…. I aware the phone guy. I arrived and he was working the front desk and when I checked out I really wanted to talk on someone but didn’t feel comfortable as all I wanted to do was sleep but sadly very embarrassed to be treated this way as a Hilton member

The hotel is fairly nice, and the staff was very accommodating, but the neighborhood was not so great

Cool modern art feel. Close to Fashion Center outlets and restaurants. In house facilities are very good. Excellent, attentive staff.

Adjacent doors to room open and close extremely loudly which disturbed our sleep each night.

We had a long layover (11 hrs) on a last min flight cancellation. I booked the hotel based on the reviews and its location. It was very clean & close. We were able to use their free airport shuttle in the morning at 6:30 to return to the airport & that was helpful.

Didn’t mention that we would have to pay 35 just to exit the property.

The staff was all extremely nice. We had breakfast there the next day, food was AWESOME and those staff members truly made our stay better. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. I had the breakfast burrito and it was probably the best I've ever had! They also had Starbucks coffee!
The room was nice, and updated. But they could have used more pillows. The only downside was that there was no refrigerator in our room.
I would definitely stay there again! And would probably have dinner there since the food was so good!

Wonderful hotel with an excellent staff, check in was a breeze. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was awesome with a full walk in shower. Food selection was great and did I mention the staff were excellent

Great decor and environment and friendly and quick check in. Parking charge of $30 was excessive in my opinion for one night.
