Hotels. Com screwed up our reservation. I had to take the rooms available vs rooms requested and booked. The front desk did the best they could. The hotel needs some tlc, but for price I got what I expected.

This place would be closed if inspected by the health department ! DID NOT feel safe in this hotel ! It was more of a half way house. Filthy dirty.

Reason i gave 1 star on the customer service,we stood in the office area waiting over 20 plus mins for someone to show up,i even called the number 6 times and it just kept ringing, when someone finaly showed up,she had someones baby with her that she was watching, other than that, our stay was fine

It’s very quiet staff always on point

First room had wires hanging from the ceiling. So had to get moved to a different room that had 2 full beds instead of 2 queen beds and was noticeably smaller. Both rooms were dingy, old and smelled of something stale. The sheets were clean but obviously stained.

The room was clean and ok but on the hallway was heavy smoke smell

the people where fantastic, friendly, and accommodating... BUT why is the handy cap accessible rooms in the back of the hotel? with only the lobby as an entrance? I have a hard time walking and I had to take the nearest room instead of an accessible room that I truly needed.

I love the property the staff was very friendly and helpful I was in Macon for the homecoming of Mercer University really enjoyed however there was one unexpected a $$55 deposit on the room once you arrive other than everything was great

Hotel needs to be condemned and bulldozed. It’s about 75 percent there already. ‘Carpet’ is mismatched squares of moldy carpets.
Wires are hanging out of broken ceiling tiles everywhere. I can’t believe this passed any kind of inspection.
Parking lot is filled with homeless men.
Room was filthy, mattress lumpy, sheets were not clean.
I can’t believe anyone would present this wreck as a functioning hotel.

Very nasty place I'll never stay there again, the water n the shower gave me ear infection in both ears they call it swimmers ear but i don't get in swimming pools!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel was no more than a bed to sleep in. They are currently in the middle of a “remodel”. Breakfast was a honeybun, or a nutragrain bar on the lobby. Parking lot at 2 am when we arrived was full of random, non hotel guests just hanging out-did not feel comfortable with our luggage on our top of car rack with that many people in the parking lot at 2am.
Pool looked great even though we didn’t utilize it, and the front desk staff was very friendly. Another perk was that even though the other rooms were loud from the hallway we couldn’t hear the noise in our room

This place is disgusting. Do not ever even think about staying here. It smells like mold there is a useless front desk person that would be better off not even speaking. The room was dirty and there was crack paraphernalia littered through the hallway.

This hotel is going through renovations, but it looked like it was taking quite a while to finish them - the room they gave me was a bit dusty and the carpet is made up completely of random remnants piece together, and the hotel looked generally crappy. It felt like the heater was hotter than it should of been, which didn't help my sleep. I am more sensitive to my environment when I sleep, so keep this in mind, but I didn't sleep a wink all night - it was too hot, the sheets were scratchy, the pillows uncomfortable, what sounded like a garbage truck was banging around at 3:30am, and one of their security guys tried to get into my room at midnight, saying there wasn't supposed to be anyone in that room (I had checked in that day). They also had someone working on a vehicle in their drive in front of the entrance (parked there all night). I would NOT recommend the Red Carpet Inn if you're ever in Macon, GA!

The property was under some sort of renovation (I hope?) Sections of walls and ceiling looked unfinished. The facility was non-smoking, but many guests would smoke right outside the building, and the smell would be drawn into the room AC they were standing by.

Arrived after 3pm and no one was at the desk. Their was a maintenance guy that said the lady who works the desk left to go get her child and no one else was there to check people in or out. After 15 minutes or so of waiting she showed up and gave me the room key.The entire hotel appears to be under renovation. The ceiling in my room had a leak repair that was done poorly and then started to leak again due to the heavy rain. The drips were on top of the microwave which was on top of the frig. Not exactly safe. There was a automobile febreeze deodorizer in the air conditioner which masked the stale smell of set in smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The entire room lacks outlets and what few there are are hard to reach and get too and are already in use.The walls are paper thin. There was a guy that kept coming out in the hall all night long to talk on his cellphone. This was right outside our door. The few people I met that I believe were staff were very friendly.

there were wires hanging down from the ceiling tiles in the hallway; on the key card, there was absolutely no identification on it, no hotel name or room #, it was just a white card; there was no telephone in the room-I understand that most everyone have cell phones today, but hotel rooms are supposed to have a complimentary phone, I would think...when my husband asked for ice, the front attendant had to get it for him, and she gave him about 2 cups of ice in a plastic bag! However, the room was clean, the sheets were clean, my husband and I both slept really good there, with our little chihuahua.

I arrived at the hotel and did not see anyone on the front desk, stood there for two hours, called and knocked and no one came to me, I have a video, I had to look for another hotel and pay an expensive price for it, no one returned my money ... ...

The staff was nice enough but unfortunately the hotel is very dirty and in need of much needed repair…halls were filthy, trash on the floor, drywall needed repair and residue and debris from drywall was on floor of hallway…bathtub in our room was EXTREMELY slow draining, further the first room we were given the door was standing open and it clearly had not been cleaned…we were quickly switched to another room but had it not been so late in the evening at time of arrival we would’ve just gone elsewhere

To start with painters were painting the front of the building and you couldn’t park close to the entrance due to yellow tape. There were no luggage carts so you had to carry your luggage from the parking lot. There was extensive construction down the halls to our room. The bathroom had a soiled washcloth draped over the shower rod. There is no phone in the room to call the front desk and no complimentary coffee in the room. No exhaust fan in bathroo. The floors in room and bathroom were not clean. One positive is the air condition was super cold.

I don’t like the outside of the building and in the hallway. My door was very hard to open and close. The whole building had a funny smell. I did not wanna take pictures I was not a happy camper but since I paid online I stayed.

Nice pool. Thank goodness the water bugs under the bathroom sink were dead. The whole place needed to be vacuumed.

It was a cheap room. It was better than sleeping in my truck at a rest area. The room wasn't that bad . It was old and outdated but mostly clean and comfortable. The rest of the place is in very rough shape. No AC in the lobby or hallways. Don't let the pictures online fool you. This building is on not well maintained. Shady neighborhood. Lots of shady characters hanging around outside and in the halls. Someone pulled the fire alarm while we were there. I didn't feel comfortable being outside so we didn't use the pool. I only stayed one night and I wouldn't want to stay much longer than that.

My problem was how hot it is in the lobby. You can barely breathe with the Georgia humidity. There is not ice machine and people are parking in the handicap parking places,

The only thing I liked was the price. It took a long time to check in due to the Internet kept going out. There was no cable for the first 2 hours I was there. The ice machine was broken and you could here some one using a hammer while I was trying to sleep. So yeah this was the worst stay ever

Used towels and hair ties on the bathroom floor when we arrived. Thin walls and noisy hallways. Entire facility needs repair.
