The Holden House is a clean, well managed bed and breakfast with a friendly staff and excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is located in a quiet neighborhood near many Colorado Springs attractions. You can see fantastic views of Pikes Peak while walking through the neighborhood.

This was our first time staying at a B&B and the Holden House did not disappoint! The food was great and different every morning, there were plenty of coffee, tea and juice options. They were also very accommodating to everyone's food intolerances. The property was historically charming, clean and very comfortable!

The Holden House is worth everything it offers. The rooms are comfortable and very roomy. The staff are friendly and will make sure you have a great stay there and in the area. The location is great for an easy on and off to I-25. We will stay there again.

The property is in the perfect spot, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Colorado springs. The staff and room made us feel like we were staying with family (the good kind). Not to mention the breakfast and home was incredibly unique. Definitely recommend and will come back.

Excellent Pikes Peak Suite with three full rooms with kitchen. Great property with excellent staff. Delicious breakfast included and wine social in the evening. Location in Old Colorado City area of Colorado Springs offered many good restaurants within walking distance or a short ride. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a couple of days and nights to relax before resuming a long driving trip home to Virginia. Holden House was a better choice than I knew. Clearly love and care are central features of Sallie and Welling's hospitality, and it shows everywhere we looked. Heather runs things perfectly with apparent ease. As they say, professionals make it look easy! We have been to many BNBs and we know it isn't easy because so many fall short (and we entertain at home ourselves). No detail is too small to get it's share of attention and we delighted in little touches too numerous to remember. We were pampered by the beautiful surroundings as well as the gracious, personal service. Everyone at Holden House strikes the right balance of service and privacy. We felt welcomed was by family, yet allowed to enjoy our intimacy amidst the romantic atmosphere. Our favorite BNB ever.

The breakfast was delightfully different everyday to your specifications. Someone actually called me 3 days ahead of time to confirm my eating preferences. They provided a daily 5 pm wine & bite greeting where a group of us, strangers at the beginning, ended up going out on the town having a wonderful time. I stayed in the "Aspen" room. Very romantic and private. It has a Queen bed, fire place, sitting room, ample closet space and double sized bathtub. I recommend the "Rabbit Hole" restaurant. Very quaint and romantic. Good food.

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The innkeepers were welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious, and the homes and rooms are beautiful! Would definitely recommend a stay at Holden House!
