The host was fantastic, and the house is amazing. We felt completely at home, and he anticipated our needs before we even had any! The home was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do over our weekend. Plus he gave us some great ideas for vegan places to eat and ideas for date nights. We are already planning another visit to try all the places he suggested that we didn't get a chance to try on this visit. We were anxious about staying in someone's home, but it was actually so much better than a hotel. This will be our go to place to stay whenever we visit Akron in the future!

Louie’s B&B is wonderful place to stay. We needed a clean, safe place to spend the night during a quick trip to Akron and we are glad that we found this B&B. The place is clean and tidy. I would stay there again! Thank you!

I would choose to stay here again if we're coming through Akron. Our host was very friendly, and made a great effort to show us around the place. We spent some time chatting with him about Akron and the neighborhood, and he gave us a great recommendation for dinner right around the corner. Plus, there's an old fashioned Ice Cream Parlor right there by the restaurant, always a win in my book! One of the things I liked most is that here is a guy making a living running a small business, and clearly taking care of his property and his customers, and promoting the great things about his city. We need more people like him, people who don't bail out to the suburbs, or who are part of national conglomerates that take your money out of the local economy. He is part of the revitalization of Akron, doing what needs to be done like in any city in America. I'm happy we got to spend a night in his charming and personable B&B. Thanks!

Louie’s colorful home is like a museum. Very eclectic art and memorabilia. Louie is a wonderful host and local historian. Will definitely stay again at Berrodin B & B when in Akron

This looks like a lovely place to stay, however, I was unable to fulfill my stay, as my friend cancelled plans for us to meet up -- 2 days before my reservation was to take place. I had made this reservation weeks ahead of time, and the deadline to cancel had passed. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a refund. Just be SURE that you will be staying when you make your reservation. From this experience, I have learned to book at a hotel with a more forgiving cancellation policy, and not just book someplace because it looks nice and is inexpensive. In the end, it was an expensive lesson.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Louie and his amazing property. The cleanliness was immaculate. The amenities impeccable. Bedding, towels, toiletries, snacks- all top level. The coolest coffee machine I’ve ever used. Excellent furnishings and an overall super comforting vibe. Louie is an extremely welcoming and helpful host. He was able to provide me with tips for my short stay in Akron that I know made a huge difference to my time there. I absolutely would stay here again and in fact am considering a future trip to Akron in part due to my experience here. Thanks Louie!

Checking in was easy and Louie was a great host who gave us the run down on his place upon on our arrival. We enjoyed the stay, loved the little town, and enjoyed the house and hospitality. Would be happy to go back there again.

It was a great stay. Louie is a great host and a great person and he runs a nice bed and breakfast. Everything is clean and organized. The only downside is that we are cyclers and it is about 2 miles off the trail, and mostly uphill.

I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast where there was not a full breakfast prepared by the host. Breakfast was granola bars, boiled eggs and instant oatmeal you prepared yourself. There was an additional charge for coffee or other drinks. The host was very friendly then suddenly reacted in an irritated or grumpy manner. The house was very well kept, and the facilities were extremely clean. We were unaware of an additional fee if we stayed after 11AM, and we lost track of time while getting ready to leave. Although it was 11:23 when we actually got out, we were not charged the additional amount and appreciated that.

The host is very helpful with activities to do in the area. He has many amenities that are provided for our current needs with cleanliness and safety. The only issue worth mentioning is; If you can’t climb steps, this home is not accessible for a wheelchair. I highly recommend this house if you’re looking for quiet and comfortable accommodations.

Our host, Louie, could not have been more welcoming. As a gay male couple we are always concerned coming to a new place, but there was not a moment's hesitation on his part to open his home. The house was clean and everything we needed, and Louie struck just the right balance between being a present host and offering us our freedom and privacy. Well done.

Louie, the owner manager pays executional attention to detail. My wife says she has never been to a cleaner place of lodging. Louie is and engaging conversationalist. He is also very invested in the community of Akron. He gave us a great restaurant recommendation in walking distance. The place is exceptionally well run and exceptionally well maintained and located on a quiet cobblestone street. Louie very attentive to the needs of his guests.

The ads are misleading, the host was very rude. I was at the location in front of the door, but I be better safe than sorry. So I left the place and find another hotel to stay. I need a Expedia help me to get a refund since I did not stay there!

So for starters I've stayed at this property 3 times. The accommodations are just OK. My review of the last time I stayed was neutral, until today. This past weekend I accidently had gotten my lady stuff on sheets. Since their was nothing to clean the sheets with or laundry that i knew of, I use hand sanitizer to get the dried blood from the sheets. When I told the host that I had an accident he kept taking me about the whole accident. I was embarrassed and told him I didn't owe him and explanation. I didn't damage anything just left the sheets and bed cover wet on the floor. As soon as I got off my flight I had my phone blowing up over this. When I had made my honest first review saying the accommodations where okay is because I felt like I had a 10 pm curfew. When I arrived after 10 pm on Sunday I was greeted with an attitude after I was texted several time about what time I was going to be back. When I arrived the host was watching a movie on surround sound till 1 am in the morning. The place isn't quit and the host can be rude. After texting back in forth over the sheets the host told me I was no longer welcome because of my review and I accidently had an accident on his sheets.
