The positives: the restaurant staff were incredibly kind, and the housekeeping team was exceptional, keeping the rooms spotless and comfortable throughout the stay.
Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed these aspects. As a VIP “Enclave” guest, I was promised a late check-out, even receiving a coupon for it. Despite arranging this in advance, I never received confirmation. Assuming it was approved, I planned my departure for 2 PM, only to be harassed with +10 phone calls starting at 12:01 PM. Adding to the stress, the hotel cut off my Wi-Fi access after the standard check-out time—a petty and unprofessional gesture.
The food was also disappointing. Despite glowing reviews, it lacked variety, with repetitive dishes served across the two “buffets” and restaurants. The buffet system wasn’t self-serve, and staff often misjudged portion requests, creating unnecessary frustration.
All the restaurants offered at the hotel are merely replicas of the buffet, adding absolutely nothing new or unique to the dining experience.
The pool area was another letdown. Loungers were “reserved” with towels early in the morning, yet remained unoccupied for hours. The hotel failed to enforce any rules, making it nearly impossible to find a spot unless waking up at dawn.
While the rooms were clean and comfortable, the poor communication, subpar dining experience, and mismanagement of the pool left me dissatisfied. I will not be returning to this hotel.

I have to be honest our stay was good, Service was excellent, food was better than great. Miguel José is an excellent employee., treated us well and was very sweet. We were given a room which was also great. BUT treatment at checkin was very impersonal. We were told that we could use all facilites except Enclave. But was not told that the Pool which was accessible from the balcony of our room was prohibited for us. And on our second day at the hotel we were removed from the Pool in very, very unpleasant way by a person named Teodoro. We are humanas and make mistakes… (I guess he has not been told that) We entered the Pool through our room and told him so. We used the Pool on the first day. We never saw the signs. We usually book our stays in preferred clubs, but since this was a short stay we did not even notice you had this option available. I feel it was because my husband is Dominican and I Puerto Rican we were treated like bandits or people without money. We are good people and are very well off. We vacation in your country 3 to 4 times a year and always stay at good hotels. Had it not been for this incident our stay would have been 5 out of 5. My husband wants to return but I have serious doubts. We are planning family trip for my 75th birthday next year. My daughter’s loved the Pictures we sent about the food and facilites. I will let them know when we return Home.

Yes everything was good,in except the bathroom.we couldn’t used it because the toilet was not working. I complained to person who is in charge with, but they she didn’t pay attention to me. The show was boring, but staff were very respectful, beach clean and the whole property. That was the only issue, the bathroom. If I have to come back,I will!!!

This resort was unique in all aspects, clean, beautiful beach, excellent customer service, extremely beautiful grounds and rooms. The bartenders at the beach Diomedy de los Santos and Diorka Mejia were amazing and very prompt to all my drinks requests. The bartenders at Lobby area also were excellent Joanna Davis and Cassandra beltre and Luis Vargas at main register desk was amazing as well they all made my stay for me and my family a wonderful experience. Def recommend this resort.

It was a very relaxing and fun vacation. The property is beautiful and very well maintained.
My only issue was that they need more staff for the restaurants . At the Grill, I had to wait about 25 minutes before anyone came to offer us water. It took well over an hour to get our food. This was all around in each restaurant. Other than that, it was a great experience.

We had inconveniences like access to the room because of low lock battery and upstair bath leaking but were very well handled by the Enclave staff.
All employees at the property were very proffessional, attentive and respectful

This beachside retreat is a great spot to relax, though the service at the Enclave beach area was inconsistent. I recommend addressing late check-ins with your front desk. Initially, I was informed I could check in late for a fee. However, upon returning with my wallet 30 minutes later, I was told this option was no longer available and had to do it immediately due to housekeeping policies observed through cameras, which seemed confusing. My overall rating is primarily influenced by this particular interaction. Additionally, the quality of the food could use improvement. The lunch buffet, particularly the meat and fish, was disappointing with rushed and undercooked servings. It's concerning as someone might fall ill at your establishment if this issue persists.

All inclusive a very good option. A few staff were not dedicated and welcoming.

Miriam and Jaqueline at the spa were the best ever!!!!!! They should be recognized! Also Millie the bartender in the enclave pool was spectacular! We stayed there all day because of her! Also Mario in enclave was great ! The entire staff was great!

I was at the Enclave adults side of the hotel.
First, no entertainment at all for young people after 11pm. A boring Hotel more suitable for old people that sleeps early and wake up early to read at the pool.
The bars close early and you only have the 24 hour room service (food only) free of charge for "Enclave
"only.
There is a restaurant at night called "Chinola" which serves charcoal food near the beach that when it starts raining you have to run inside and the waitress had to run with the food,it was a bad experience because it rained almost everyday at night. It's a restaurant that should be change to the morning and the dress code should not be elegant because high heels on the sand is not that great.
The casino is sad and boring but after 11 pm there is only that or a small room at the end of the hotel far from the adults side like really far that have loud music until 2 am.
The food is 3/10 at the buffets, both, the only good restaurants that have 10/10 are the Peruvian restaurant and Sakura.
Last but not least, there was wriggles in the water of the ornaments with plants at the room, I reported it the first time thought room service, the second time with a concierge at the lobby and third on the next day I got the plant and gave it to them myself after putting repellent in the water and putting it outside so the mosquitos don't emerge from the water and prevent mosquitos from biting us.
Boring Hotel...

It was a great short vacation the only thing in every restaurant the staff always forgot to bring you something or another. If it was once ok. I am in hospitality business and realize how hard it is.

Beautiful and clean

1) walls are so thin that you can hear everything in the room next door. And I mean EVERYTHING.
2) The staff speaks close to zero English, not able to understand and address basic questions and needs.
3) The beach is small and not nearly as nice as other surrounding beaches
4) The food quality is so bad that we preferred to skip meals.
