Apartments were clean and functional, decent location. However the budget price naturally came with budget characteristics . Oddly the blind in one of the bedrooms only covered 90% of the window. It a 5/6" window so pretty big and fine if you want an early start. The rainfall shower came from a tall 10" ceiling. Given no one can reach to clean the shower head so its blocking up with limescale. Configuration of one of the room means the bed is no where near any of the plugs..,. not useful if wanting a bed side light. Clearly these are pretty minor and decent option if you want a clean, central place to sleep!

Once I checked in the experience was dreadful.
The free WiFi wouldn't connect to my phone.
I reported it to a member of staff which fobbed me off.
Won't be back to stay here again, absolute rip off

Great place to stay, very clean, walking distance to high street shops, and restaurants.

We stayed in room 5 which was an outbuilding and the back of the property. There was no lock on the inside door so we would have had to sleep with the door unlocked all night. But worse than that it was absolutely freezing (it was end of november) the radiator didnt work but they did leave a small oil radiator that did absolutely nothing. We checked out after a few hours as it was just too cold. Really dissapointed especially as the room wasnt cheap.

Great central location, clean and tidy with everything needed in a small kitchen. Good communication from property. Good value and would stay again.

Please do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the plague.
I first started to feel uncomfortable when I received a text informing me that they required £250 in pre-authorisation for each apartment I had booked. This is not just a swipe of a credit or debit card so they can charge for a newspaper - this is an actual hold on the funds in my bank account or on my credit card. Looking at the reviews it seems that if you don't have the funds in your account to cover this then you can't stay in the room you have booked and paid for! Nothing on Hotels.com to indicate this charge. It advises that they may need to swipe your card but absolutely no mention of the £250. It then takes up to 5 days after your stay for the funds to be released.
When you check out the state of the apartment you will see just what a cheek it is to expect a pre-authorisation in case of damage - what a dump. Getting down to the basement apartment is dangerous. steep, slippy, concrete steps. No usable mirrors! Not one. Even in the bathroom.
The bathroom in the apartment just topped it off. Only stay here if you do not value your privacy as it has none.
I have included photographs.

Great communications from front desk office, masses of helpfull advice greatly appreciated. The property was outstanding comfortable spacious and a wow bathroom. Very comfortable bed and a most comfortable stay, thank you.

There is a ridiculous preauthorization fee of £250 that will not be disclosed until you are at the check-in counter, if you're on a budget please don't bother booking a reservation.
The lack of transparency is worrisome.
Then there is the damaged front door Venetian blind, which the staff confirmed that the management is aware of, yet no temporary measure was in place to safeguard the privacy and dignity of clients.
Also, there was the wifi password that was communicated and it took walking back to the key pick-up location and another four hours later to resolve.
Lastly, it's been 5 days since checkout and the £250 is yet to be returned to my account, utterly disappointing.

Absolutely terrible place. Service and staff are also unhelpful and rude

Had everything we needed. The sofa bed turned out to be a chair bed which wasn’t a problem but the chair had seen better days.
Apart from the chair-bed that was the only furniture in the living area, so only one person had a seat to chill out. Others had to sit on the floor.
Not a bad place just could have done with maybe an actual sofa.
Also, as women who were away for a long weekend the only mirror available was a small one in the bathroom, could have done with at least one full length one. There was plenty of wall space for this.
Overall, it had what we needed - apart from furniture.

The apartment was completely uninhabitable; bins overflowing, unwashed pots and pans, dirty sheets and linen strewn over the floor, carpets and rugs filthy

We had booked an apartment as advertised in the centre of Cheltenham for one night on Saturday 25th.
On arrival to collect the keys, We were told that the apartment was not actually in the town centre, as clearly advertised, but about 1.5 miles away.
We then had to get a taxi to the apartment which was situated on a housing estate on the outskirts of Cheltenham.
On entering the apartment we found that the kettle and TV did not work and the fridge was warm and could not be switched on either. We also found broken cupboards, a dirty toilet bowl and something unsavoury I’m one of the kitchen cupboards.
This was all highly unsatisfactory and absolutely not what or where it was advertised to be.
We returned the keys, having incurred more taxi fees, and found alternative accommodation.
