Loved my stay at this clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were very.friendly and accommodating and the breakfast had every option you can think of, hot and cold!

The staff was not particularly friendly, the agent who checked us in did not welcome us to the hotel. We felt more like we were moving through a grocery checkout line rather than being welcomed as a hotel guest. Also the agent said my closing receipt would be emailed and it was never sent.

Loved the size of the rooms and the morning breakfast. There is a nice little pond near by with fish, turtles, and even a small alligator for children to see! We will be back!

Great location and stay! They were very welcoming for our family including our dog. We drove to the beach everyday and ended the day with pool time. Great breakfast as well!

Rooms are aged but comfortable . We were gone a lot so did not use amenities, such as the pool. Little pricey to me for the size of the room . Breakfast has wide variety of food . Waffles delicious. Staff is Friendly.

We were greeted by incredibly friendly staff. The suite was spacious and clean. The pool was the perfect sized for our little family to have fun and cool off without getting all sandy. The breakfast had enough variety that our kiddo with many food allergies still had choices. We were really impressed with our stay and though we were only in Southport for a wedding so don't have intention to return to the city, would highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived about 6 pm and left early the next morning after breakfast. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfy and the TV worked. A wide assortment of breakfast goodies was available, including waffles, eggs, hash browns, sausage and cereal. All in all, it was a good brief stay.

The gentleman at the front desk charged my credit card $217.03. I have no idea why my rooms were already paid for contacted the hotel to get a refund still waiting for that.

I traditionally stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, but made a change this year to join my brother and his wife. I love the Hampton Inn - rooms are very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Beds are very comfortable. If I made one change it would be to light the rooms better. I had to do some company work there and the lighting was limited.

What a fantastic hotel! Our family of 6 stayed here for a long weekend mini vacation and everything was outstanding! From check in, the cleanliness of the room, delicious breakfast, friendliness of employees, it was amazing! The room was super spacious with one of the biggest rooms for 6 people we have ever had with a large bathroom. Breakfast was great with lots of wonderful hot and cold food to choose from. My kids especially enjoyed the waffle maker and all the toppings that came with it. Also hot cookies served at 3pm, yum! I highly recommend the Hampton Inn in Southport for any family going on a trip.

The check in process was good. When I got to the room I noticed my sheets looked like someone slept in the bed. I looked closer and found hair on the sheets. I asked for the linens to be changed and it was done. I am not happy knowing the linens were used by the previous person.

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Hampton Inn, Southport. It doesn’t disappoint. Very clean, friendly and responsive staff, great free breakfast. We will definitely return to this hotel.

The front desk was excellent and very helpful. I left my Apple Watch in the room upon checking out the cleaning ladies reported it to the front desk immediately. Unfortunately we were already on the road heading to the airport but the desk was so kind to overnight it to me . Kudos to the entire staff! We will be back !

Nice decor. Our shower was not very warm and the water pressure was not very good. A detachable faucet head would have been nice. Our room's mini fridge barely cooled at all except right at the back and we were nervous about our son's milk being cool enough.
