Incheckning was terrable, he tried to cheat us by giving us a room without a bathroom while we booked a room with a private bathroom.

I never even entered the property - the taxi drove up - I took one look around the neighbourhood - it was like a scene from Grozny during the Russian invasion - I told the taxi driver to take me to another hotel...

It wasn't clean at all, it didn't even look like a hotel inside, the rooms, the toilets and the aisles were so dirty.

property was under TOTAL Construction inside & out. no elevator & stairs are So Very Narrow CanNot roll luggage up width-wise. the room they had made ready to stay in was filled with dust everywhere from concrete or drywal sanding & still had debris/materials in the room too talked with Lacy on 10.23 who asked "IF he had asked for another room" --- even the room they had Made Ready for him Was Not Ready & no one else was staying at the hotel. no part of the hotel was ready for Anyone to occupy. she called the hotel, but no one spoke English. she was going to have another team Call in a few hours & talk with hotel again, NEVER HEARD back from her or anyone else about this. ** I called back & started working on getting him a replacement hotel again -- spoke with Daniel- he was very nice, considerate & took care of providing a credit to my account as a refund for the original hotel.... which Lacy had advised me was NOT avail. Daniel also provided info on another hotel for David to look at - (turned out the area was druggie & drunk ridden who would hassle people as they came in & out of the hotel) difference would have been a total increase of $22.* called back & got info on another hotel in the areas DS had moved to on 10.17 u Ufortunately he did Not Call me, so I could have advised Expedia then to get this taken care of,. he just went & found another hotel & paid for a room-- directly. * he had pic, but was told you would have someone send them to you

Otel Evren. What an interesting and bizarre place. When you come up to the building it is in very bad condition and in a weird neighborhood. Once inside you are greeted by extremely rude staff. The hallways have random junk inside, and everything looks bad. The room I stayed in was okay but bare bones. There are a couple exposed wires from electrical outlets. The bed is rock hard. I dont know where they come from, since the window is closed, but there are mosquitoes. Sitting in my room in the first day, a random man opened the door and came in, only to turn around and walk away when he saw me. From then on I kept the door locked even when I was inside the room. Craziest part of the stay, the workers never showed me where the toilets where. I had to wander the halls to find them. They arent clearly marked. They are also filthy, and get this, there are no showers/baths. No showers. Seriously. And again, very rude workers. I would say hi when entering or exiting and they would completely ignore me. After the first night the front desk guy aggressively told me to give him the key, and I had to try and tell him I have two nights booked. Very rude.I guess at 10 USD for a private room I cant be too dissatisfied but this place is a joke. I am surprised Hotels.com even allows it to be on the system. Go stay somewhere else.

Evren is in a bad neighbourhood, hard to find and a real cheap option for dumpsters. Welcoming me at arrival was a drunk hotel manager with no service whatsoever. Unfortunately one of the poorest hotel choices i made recently. I left after 1 night.
