This is my 5th stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious with a couch and desk, wonderful beds. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The lobby is spacious and lovely, the breakfast has many choices and is wonderful start to the day!

We’ve stayed here whenever we are in Escondido and we have a daughter in a wheelchair and the accommodations are always perfect for her . The rooms are open and the bathrooms are spacious .

I've happily been in many Marriott Bonvoy properties like this but this one felt mismanaged before I ever got there. I was in 2 rooms due to ant issues (btw i have 100s of hotel reviews on other sites and never once reported ants once let alone twice on the same property just to give you the weight here). And the blatantly obvious let down continued throughout the stay to help make me feel like this was a pretty neglected Marriott property. I had ant crawling all over my room on both the 1st and 3rd floor notably in the areas with a light hard surface because you would never know otherwise because of how poorly lit all rooms are. At one point there were 10 ants in my shower and another 6 on my coffee table area and a soaked carpet beneath it that i didn't see due to the lack of light. There were multiple lights out in each room I had which shows that there is no daily management either in maintenance or daily house keeping. I get that sometimes in lean times other mgrs take this on, but typically this is always a failed approach. I was so disgusted but because I was so pressed for time and trusted the brand, i withstood this. I even commented about other areas that needed help such as cold breakfast buffet and a gym that had no sanitizing agents but nobody ever offered a single thing in return other than an apology despite me offering many, many issues with a smile and not making a scene as I was entitled to. This place should be closed frankly.

They require a $20 per room deposit for incidentals they will bill your card even if you don’t use any incidentals.after questioning this there only response was we may have billed you for parking total deposit we paid $100 (customer service doesn’t exist)

The stay was more difficult than planned day one we checked in at 10pm and the elevator was broken with no fix date available my handicapped mom had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the room, day two we were put in a room but it was not handi cap available, so we stayed in that room and made due. The staff was very friendly though and food was great

All of the amenities were nice at the hotel. The room was clean and modern. The staff were friendly and prompt. The the breakfast included eggs, sausage, sausage patty, oatmeal, pre-made waffles, and had all of the general accompaniments. The only hiccup we had during our stay was that we booked and prepaid for a room with one single king bed, but ended up getting a room with two queen size beds. That said, the bedding, mattress, and pillows were all very comfortable. The price was also reasonable coming in at about $280 with everything included.

The staff was friendly. The room was big and comfertable. The elevator was broken down on the day we went. They waived the $10 parking fee beacuse of the inconvenience. The free breakfastwas good for what it was.

Elevator was not working, but upon checkout we were told the would not charge parking fee, but we received an email invoice that we were charged so hopefully should be credited. Hotel was immaculate, room was great, modern, bedding and pillows were super comfy. Breakfast was great and convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and private. Great time. Would highly recommend!

The elevator was not operational for 5 out of the 6 days we stayed there. There were ants in the room, and bits of candy left under the bed. The trash at the entrance way was overflowing for over 12 hours. The shower door made a great squeaking sound when closing or opening it. The toilet latch fell off!

The only reason “facilities” didn’t get an excellent rating is that the elevators weren’t working, but the staff worked hard to make up for it. It really wasn’t an issue for us.

Clean. Updated. Modern. King Room was a great layout. Bed was comfortable, firm with fluffy top. Pillows were fluffy like a goose pillow. Large walk in shower. Typical hotel breakfast. Great location off freeway and access to several shopping centers nearby. Staff was courteous. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, comfy, spacious room with excellent amenities. Our family of 5 was very comfortable. The business boothes served excellent use for our 2 virtual meetings. The staff is incredibly kind and super helpful. The pool was clean and fun. And the breakfast was yummy, too!

Second time staying here and it’s a fantastic hotel. My only gripe is the breakfast is a little under par. Waffles heated in plastic and oatmeal kept warm in a plastic bag.
