A plus was the breakfast on site. Room was clean but nothing special. No hot water for almost2 days.

Great staff and good continental breakfast.

Very clean but needs to be updated rooms. Better pillows and beds

Great value for the money!
Great service and nice with the small pool even if it’s not super special.
Area expensive so if looking for a cheap hotel to be qble to spen money on more fun things than a room this is it.
Basic hotel, and not very sound isolated but charming building (old monastery).
Good AC and clean.
Again, great value for the money.

Amazing bed and breakfast with a pool. Breakfast was good staff extremely friendly and happy to help always. Amazing views rooms are clean and comfortable.

The walk to downtown took about 25 minutes, which was fine with my family, but it was a little out of the way. That said, it peaceful and in a very pretty nook of a neighborhood. The property is an old convent, which is super cool, but it does require a bit of exterior maintenance. The family room was very spacious and peaceful, though. The pool was a huge bonus.

The location was great. Having a pool was nice, even though it’s not far from a private beach. The staff was so helpful and very nice.

Great location. Beautiful Terrace overlooking the Sea just steps away. Quiet area but 25min walk to busy Sorrento city center. Private parking on site with gate for a 10Euro per day fee. Decent breakfast and rooms were clean and spacious.

Air conditionner is bad, ant in bathroom and parking completed.

Very nice staff from the food they provide and the needs for the room. Compared to others, I find this one the best so far!🙂

This property was amazing, with beautiful views. Staff was super personable and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Sorrento area.

This property was perfect for the location of where it is and being on a budget. Very nice friendly staff. The breakfast was very good. Only thing is the doors to the rooms are very difficult to open and some bugs in the bathroom, and also no elevator.

The pictures of the rooms on website are way different than the real life. It looks like an old big house converted to hotel. There are no cameras on rooms hallways, so this hotel really made me feels not safe. I would not recommend this hotel. Front desk help are gone by 9:00PM. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at so far.

Nice hotel in st agnello. 30 min walk from Sorrento's center. Breakfast is ok. Building is old but has his own style, an old capuchinos chapel

I liked everything about Porto salvo!

The location is great and they have parking for €10/day. Close to the restaurant with a beach. It has a nice garden in the back with benches and tables.
The hotel advertises that it has a private beach but it doesn’t. You can go to La Marinella restaurant and rent loungers there or use their beach. It’s 5 min walk.
Our room didn’t come with a bathroom. It was located across the hall from us and there was another room between us. This wasn’t advertised when booking the room. The doors are very loud so I’m sure we kept waking up the other guests every time we had to go to the bathroom across the hall. Also had to bring the keys each time to lock and unlock.
The AC in our room didn’t work.
There is a lot of hotels in this area to choose from.

Loved this place. small rooms but super clean and comfortable.

Nice place! A 20/30min away from Sorrento itself but the walk was easy enough. Nice staff, comfy bed, nice free brekkie.

this so called hotel is nothing like a hotel, it actually is an old church that has been used as a bed and breakfast place but tricked people on the hotel.com website by naming it a hotel. My husband and I have never stayed in such a terrible place, upon arrival we faced a large closed metal plate gate which we had to ring a bell to have it open for us then the bedroom's door had a handle like any regular house rooms' door , which opens with a metal key and can not be locked from outside so we were uncomfortable leaving the room and they offered another room that would be on the first floor with no elevator and a church steps that equals two floors. the ac was hardly cooling with a room that have high church ceiling and windows that are very wide and high with no screens and iron handles that were so hard to open and to close. there were insects and aunts in the room and a silverfish worm in the bed. the sheets were torn. the place was not quite, we could hear the other room's people talking. there was no wardrobe. no fridge, no telephone, no hairdryer. the curtains were so old style that there is a space between them and the wall that allowed all the light to be in the room.

Lovely little hotel with very friendly staff

Some of these comments are unfair. If you want to stay in an authentic rustic converted nunnary with history, then this is the place for you. Live like an Italian with a nice family, and then there is my little friend Luna the doggie.
Location, excellent, right by the coast, short walk west to Sorrento, walk east to Villa Fondi, just walk, so much to see and surrounded by nice restaurants.
Had to get up at 4:30am and drive back to Napoli, so a coffee vending machine would have been good, started to lag when driving :)
Peace and Love

This hotel was absolutely perfect for my husband and myself. It was less than a mile walk from the train station.
The location was exactly what we wanted, close enough to Sorrento but not right in it.
We found this hotel to be very quaint and our room had a beautiful view facing towards Sorrento with a water view. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean.
Every morning the hotel had a lovely breakfast with an assortment of delicious baked goods and coffee. We ate our breakfast in the courtyard, which was very comfortable and charming.
The hotel rents scooters. We rented one for the day and went all over sight seeing. I highly recommend it!
Right outside the courtyard door is the Bay of Naples where we were able to watch breath taking sunsets.
Overall, we were incredibly satisfied with this hotel which is run by very kind, helpful and welcoming people.

First, this is a great small independent hotel oriented for the traveler not spending time in the room. It’s simple, clean, great neighborhood with a few nearby restaurants and great views. The staff is fantastic. Rosario helped us arrange some tours and transportation. Keep in mind this was an extra effort and she went out of her way to assist. Some of my fellow countrymen were less polite and expected some full service concierge type assistance and that’s not what this gem is about. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

An old large house was turned into a hotel by separting rooms using thin walls. The main consequence was that we heard the snoring and bathroom noises from two different neighbors. Breakfast was good but we left after one night looking for a place to sleep decently.
3.0
This place is bare bones. The rooms are outdated and old. The first night we had no hot water and as a bonus the electricity in the area went out. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. The best brewed coffee I’ve ever had. The hotel was expensive and did not live up to my expectations.

Air conditioner was poor.

Great breakfast, location. Swimming pool was not very appealing.

This property is just fine for what we were looking for , it was hard to find the front gate as per the instructions, google maps and Expedia will direct you to their back gate car entrance which isn’t for guests. Their main gate is on the other side of the property (next street over) and says puerto salvo on it. I would suggest they include that somewhere in the description as we were kind of clueless when we showed up in the dark trying to find where to go!
Only other thing was our bathroom wasn’t in our room, it was across the hall , our key was the only one that opened it and it was a great bathroom, just felt weird having to run across the hall to use it! It was not an issue but would have liked to know in advance ! Also I think we were the only room that had that scenario and also booked relatively last minute so that could have been why we got stuck with it lol
The breakfast they provided was delicious , seemed like they were making lots of homemade items and everything tasted good including the coffee!
The staff helped us get taxis everytime we asked so we really appreciated that!
It was a bit of a walk to sorrento , but there was bunch of delicious restaurants near by and an amazing terrace to watch the sunset which we repeated with a bottle of wine 3 nights in a row!
Overall happy with our stay and would recommend for a good room close enough to sorrento especially for price!
Also their dog Luna is awesome!

Nice family run

The property is not what appears in the pictures, there’s no private beach, however it has a pool, breakfast, and vending machine with drinks and snacks. The staff was nice and friendly, the problem was just that the room was not what i payed for.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Good location. Small but clean pool. Breakfast ok.
Thin walls, very responsive room.
Overall a Good stay!

Me and my husband, we stayed 1 night in Porto Salvo. Great location, sea just around the corner. We loved to see the family business running the hotel, the staff members were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a homemade experience! Small but very clean hotel, only thing would have been better if they had elevator for the luggage but overall we loved our stay there and would recommend it.

Great location just outside of sorrento centre and very easy walk to get there (25 minutes). Breakfast options were good, staff were helpful. We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on it. Room and bathroom were really big for 2 people

This property is a 20-30 minute walk to Sorrento, with not many restaurants/cafes nearby.

This property is a B&B it was clean but old. This used to be a convent and they turned it into a B&B which is fine but found it be ok
Also to get to anything we had to take a Taxi which was annoying

Over all for the price the place was ideal. After all we were not staying in our rooms (although AC needs a little TLC) we were on the go each and every day. Love the views, proximity to Sorrento, access to restaurants (please make reservations ahead of time to local restaurants) and the fact that it was not run over by tourists - definitely helped. Having breakfasts on the property every day was definitely a big plus, staff was very pleasant and attentive. My kid loved the pool and took advantage almost every day by dipping in after all day site seeing. Thank you Porto Salvo for making our trip easy!

VERY PLASANT, I RECOMENT THIS HOTEL BEAUTIFUL VIEW
