Very nice, highly recommended!!!

Lovely property and town! Bring cash (pesos), as the credit card reader at restaurant/bar at hotel was down and most of the restaurants/bars in town are cash-only…

Beautiful. Each room is different and so ornate. Daniel the manager is so hard working and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. More hotels need a manager and team like this who really care.

Such an awesome place, and totally quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Loved this property! We stayed in Mar Vida and we will be back. The stairs are killer…but great views from the top and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Everything was great except that a pair of earrings went missing after the second day in our room.

We had a safe box issue in our room where we could not open the safe at 6 am. We had a tea time at a local golf course at 7 am and found out reception does not get in until 8 am so we had to cancel our golf experience
And was charged $350 . It took them 2 days before they decided to swap out the safe to avoid this issues. There is no security and anyone can just enter the Hotel since they keep the front gate open at all times. Other than that everything was pleasant and nice.

Tortuga in Villa Amor was incredible! The view was stunning and it had a wonderful ocean breeze and you can hear the sounds of the waves!

Very clean and the staff was very helpful. I would stay there again!

The villa is beautiful with breathtaking views. Short walk into town. The only downside was the 82 steps to climb up to our villa and there is no car parking so one has to find someplace on the street to park which isn’t easy with a car. Otherwise delightful but warning if you don’t want to climb stairs.

Beautiful hotel and great staff. The only thing that was negative about this hotel was all the stairs up to the room.

Absolutely beautiful property and our Villa (La Paz) was so amazing… beautiful views, sparkling clean, just a dream to wake up in everyday. Just a short lovely walk to and from town. Safe, friendly staff, beautiful pool. You will not be disappointed with your stay.

The checkin was very disappointing. No explanation of what was around the grounds, no directions to the pool.
Stayed in Villa Verde. Very noisy. Strange that when you enter you walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. When people walked past outside it sounded like they were coming into your room which was very unnerving during the night. We were booked for two nights but left after one. The bed was terribly uncomfortably and had plastic under the sheets.

Avoid for a romantic getaway, noisy, low privacy, children, pool closed for an event.
Btw, "Hill view" means a palm tree and the stairways of another room

Beautiful tropical villa nestled in the hills overlooking the ocean. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, we feel so welcome. This is a gem.

Loved staying at Villa Amor. All of the staff was helpful and friendly. We were in Villa Linda, it was a beautiful room with a lovely view. Was very happy with the location of the hotel. It was close enough to town that we could easily walk in for shopping and meals but far enough that it felt quiet and private. Also loved that it was a short walk from playa los muertos which was a very pretty beach. Would defiantly stay here again!

Fabulous property, loved the outdoor pool and gardens surrounding. Like staying in your own private Villa! Stayed with another couple for 5 nights, and we would both return in a heartbeat!

The hotel was very beautiful and in a great location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I loved that it was walking distance to town, but far enough away to feel relaxing. The only downfall was that there were many mosquitos in the living room because our doors were not completely sealed off. My friend and I got most of our bites from our living room (bedrooms were fine). I'm sure it also is because of the time of the year (rainy season). It is a gorgeous hotel and would recommend it to others.

Have visited a few times with my wife for couples vacation and it’s always been awesome. This time had a two bedroom villa with my teenage daughter and it works perfectly for that kind of vacation as well. Great staff, great location, amazing property! Recommend renting a golf cart if planning to go into town a lot.

We stayed in the Las Lanchas villa it was amazing! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The only complaint I have is that I left a very expensive gold necklace in the room because it slipped out of my hands and down the drain in the master bathroom. I called the hotel staff to let them know what happened and they said that they would get back to me about it because they had guests that had checked into the room already but I have not heard back from them yet! Hopefully I will, not only was the necklace expensive but it is sentimental.

Super romantic! We stayed here for our honeymoon. The reservation was originally for La Serena, but Villa Amor upgraded us to La Paz for our special trip. The villa was AMAZING. Big, beautiful trees growing inside the entertainment areas.
The personal plunge pool was perfect for those super hot, humid October days and evenings. The A/C worked well, and having multiple bathrooms was really convenient. We had a good amount of privacy and loved the ocean views through the jungle trees.
If we had to be picky, the bed could have been more comfortable. It’s 101 stairs from the entrance to La Paz, but we’re young and healthy and didn’t mind too much.
Si Senor (restaurant) is right on site, which is convenient. Looking forward to returning with friends and future romantic vacations!
