Our room was comfortable and clean. We were right by the pool which was nice. Breakfast was simple but good and plentiful.

Staff was the best thing about this place! Shout out to Gammie and Michael!

Exceptional service from the shuttle, to the greeting upon arrival to all front desk staff, our stay was exceptional. The staff was accommodating to helping book excursions to anything we needed each staff was attentive. We came from a hotel in Makati and the service we received here surpasses all the hotels we have stayed at in the Philippines. We love the convenience of the close proximity to Lio beach and the restaurants. We cannot wait to return!

Lio beach is the perfect place to stay in El Nido. Huni is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just okay. Not a huge selection but not bad food. But everything else is great. Laundry service is by weight which made it quite inexpensive to do a load. Would come back

Enjoyable and relaxing stay

Arrived at 2:30 and told we could not check in for another 30 minutes as the room was not “ready” - it was apparent that nothing was being done to the room. We were just being made to wait.
Towels were limited - no hand towels or face towels provided. It was comical that on the last night room keeping decided to give us face towels!
Room floor felt dirty and sticky, like it had not been mopped or washed properly.
Swimming pool water looked murky so we did not swim in it.
Breakfast was pretty poor - bugs were crawling in the salad, when we told staff they didn’t seem interested and never replaced it! (Unbelievable). Options were not the greatest and there was ONE Salt and Pepper pot for the entire restaurant (what a joke!) so you had to wait for a table to finish using it before you could. Scrambled eggs were always cold.
Great location to a beautiful beach and the beds are comfortable. Wouldn’t stay here again, will book Seda Lio next time.

Staff and services were all good.. too bad we cannot use the pool. It was okay to swim (as told) but uncomfortable because the water was murky.

Nice hotel in a great spot. Lio beach is lovely and has all you need

We enjoyed the secluded oceanfront setting amid palm groves and the big relaxing pool. The property is 5 minutes from the airport, yet the few AirSWIFT propeller planes that come and go can’t be heard. El Nido Town (tour boat launch point) is under two miles away (which is a plus if you don’t like noise and hustle and bustle). There is only one restaurant with a limited menu at the hotel, but there are many more in walking distance along the beach. We would stay at Huni Lio again, but hope that the bathrooms will be updated in the meantime.

This is a lovely hotel positioned beautifully on the beach front. The staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was well appointed and clean.
One area they could improve on is the food. The breakfast lacks choice, so we went shopping to the local markets to buy food for breakfast. Our one and only lunch, we were appalled at the quality of what we paid a lot for. Mine was a thin sliver of inedible over fried fish with one limp lettuce leaf and a bun that slowly turned to mush. We gave and most of it to a passing stray dog who enjoyed it more than I did. The staff in the kitchen and waiters were lovely and helpful.
Apart from the confronting culinary challenges this place is lovely

The beachfront was nice and well managed by Ayala, this part of Lio is great for relaxing and is near the airport.

I liked the fact that there were a lot of restaurants within walking distance so we really never had to go out of the area to go to the town center. Everything we needed could be obtained from within the premises, or, within a short walk.
What I didn't like is that there is no carpeting or grass after you wash down your feet/water shoes after coming from the beach. So most of the time, the hallways was wet, still had some sand left over from the shoes and this was brought all the way to our room.

The stay is definitely worth the money. The hotel is close to the airport and in a quiet area that's far enough from the noise of the city. They can arrange transport vans up till 10pm for 1000 pesos per ride or you can ride 3-person tuk tuks for 300 pesos per ride to get to the city. It's a 20-25 minute drive to the city so plan accordingly. Special shout-out to all the housekeepers, especially Jonny for the incredible hospitality and making sure that my laundry was done early before my flight.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Amenities are good, staff are helpful and respectful.
I only have a small critique which is the left over food, plates and used cutlery were not cleared immediately which resulted to the infestation of ants and insects.
But overall good experience.

Huni Lio seeks distinguish itself by being both eco-friendly and luxurious. I’m happy to report it meets both. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities a vacationer would want. The pool is very beautiful albeit we spent more time in the sea. The unofficial mascots (aspin) were endearing. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet. The most outstanding feature of the hotel is its excellent staff. More than helpful, I found them very caring and dedicated. Just for the staff alone, I’m glad we chose this hotel.
For other tourists, probably the only thing to know is that if you want to be close to all the restaurants and night life, this hotel is a trike ride away from the town proper. We chose this area specifically because we wanted more peace and quiet, which is exactly what we got.

This hotel is about 3 km from the town of El Nido on quieter Lio Beach. I much preferred it to the town which is load, grittier, and bustling. The hotel itself is updated and very comfortable. There are several restaurants and bars right there on the beach. Highly recommendable.

I am glad to find Lio Beach and the Huni Lio. It's only minutes out of El Nido town and convenient, but provides the quiet and safety of a small "community" away from the bars and noise of El Nido town. There are a number of good restaurants, a great private beach, beautiful views, beautiful trees and natural setting and great staff and service. I went island hopping for sure, but only spent a few hours in El Nido town, and enjoyed the rest of our time on this beach, visiting shops and restaurants....a wonderful relaxing environment. I would return here for sure whenever I visit El Nido.

Great location and service. It was very convenient to be next to the airport since we had an early flight. The hotel rooms were nice and clean. I only wish we were staying there longer to enjoy the area more!

Nice quite hotel right on the beach in the fairly new Lio Beach area. Rooms were clean and comfortable, pillows were great! Breakfast was mainly Filipino, but you are in the Philippines. There are also a few restaurant, cafes and bars right next to the hotel on the beach. Only draw back to the place is that it’s about 12-15 mins from town so while there is a free shuttle I found taking the a trike was the best option since you can go whenever you wanted. Overall great stay and would recommend the hotel.

Property is beautiful. Staff is very helpful and friendly no matter what time. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom shower has grime and soap stains the crevices Are brown in certain areas. Amenities in the room only includes shampoo, body wash, handsoap. No toothbrush, toothpaste, or body lotion. But those can be overlooked if you walk out the hotel and the beach is just a few steps away.

It was lovely. The room was nice and spacious and the pool is lush. Pictures do not really do it justice. The breakfast was good and it is right on the beach. Great location. The only thing to improve is there could be more tv channels.

They should fix the roads leading to the hotels- very bumpy ride. Also more food choices in their restaurants

This hotel is great, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is new and right on the beautiful lio beach with several dining options within a 2 minute walk. The pool is large and good. The only thing that could use improvement was the breakfast options (lacking) I would recommend this hotel!
