Convenient location and good service.

Charming property and helpful, friendly staff located near good restaurants and town center. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Sintra. Super convenient to walk to wonderful cafes, restaurants, the National Palace and transportation to all points of interest. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. Thank you for a great stay in a large and well furnished room with antique flavor, Victorian bathtub, great shower and my own terrace for a reasonable price.

The staff was great, so friendly and helpful. I loved my experience at Palácio de Sintra, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Sintra,Portugal.

The staff was very sweet and friendly. The room and the bed are very spacious and comfortable.
We were also at a perfect location. Even though it was close to the historical center and to quinta da Regaleira, it was pretty quiet in the evening. There are many things to do around the area (shops, restaurants, cafes and nature ofc) within walking distance.

Lovely room w/ beautiful views and lots of character. The location was great for exploring the area. The host that checked us in was incredibly helpful & made us feel so welcomed during our stay. Parking, although a little tight, was a huge bonus as well.

What a wonderful property. Brilliant room, quiet and spacious. Staff was fabulous. Right in downtown. Minutes from everything related to downtown. Shopping, dining, several sites on tourist maps in minutes walking.
The only nick I had was we were 5 days into our travels and really could have used an onsite washer dryer. It was about a 15-20 minutes walk. that takes nothing from the property just would have been super handy.
Thank you for a wonderful stay

It was tough finding the place but once we did, the reception was so friendly and welcoming. The room we had was perfect for our need, and we'll use the place again and also will recommend to our friends

Dulce, the manager, was extremely friendly and helpful.

Fantastic place to stay! Spacious character room…and a claw foot tub! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Perfect location to get to the sights, particularly the Quinta de Regaleira.
Easy alk to many food and beverage places. On the edge of Historic Centro Sintra.
Of note, there are several ‘Boutique Hotels’ in Sintra…clarify ‘Palacio’ and maybe show the address if take a tuk tuk. If you are remotely fit, it’s an easy walk (with rolling suitcase) from the train station.

A very good location in Old Town Sintra. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and everything we would want.

Excellent hosts, best shower, conveniently located to local attractions

We loved the size, layout, and character of our room--very charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is gorgeous and everything is accessible.
Parking was the biggest challenge. For people unfamiliar with the area, some suggestions of where to park (as well as a heads up that if you go too far, you're in a big loop that takes about half an hour to drive) would be helpful.

Absolutely adored this place. It was centrally located to lots of food options. The train was a short downhill walk away and made it convenient to get

Stunning location. Extremely difficult to locate by car. Once located, you then have to somehow get into the parking area which I almost found impossible! And ... I damaged my rental car!! The alternative is to try to find a parking space which is virtually impossible (unless you arrive very late at night) and the main car park is not very close so with heavy luggage, it isn't ideal

A lovely place in a great location with charming hosts who were very helpful.

Very comfortable and nicely maintained older house. Very well-situated too, in the heart of town yet set back and insulated from the busy street out front. Very hospitable service. (Didn’t have the breakfast - but it looked good.)
Only drawback, for some, would be the extremely limited parking space available either at the property or anywhere nearby (in a town built long before the car was invented, obviously!)

We loved the location. We were able to walk to the Pena Palace, Quita de Regalia, and Castle of the Moors. The house has packed with charm and character. Isabella was lovely.
If arriving during peak tour hours when almost at the property, ensure to show the police officer directing traffic to turn left that you have a hotel reservation and need to turn right. Otherwise, you will be stuck in the tourist traffic queue to go all the way around again taking an additional 30 minutes.

Very interesting place to stay.

Dolce was incredibly kind and helpful.
The rooms could use a bottle of water. This is a very old quaint house with historical figures as the room names. Best shower in a week! Great windows and a cute private porch. A bit outdated in places but the staff was so wonderful that didnt matter.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff friendly, very helpful, packed is a breakfast-to-go as we had to catch an early train. Beautiful building. We enjoyed wine and reading in the outdoor areas. Definitely recommend!

Great! Very good looking and hosts are so welcoming!
Also very helpful!
Careful for parking, if it rains or with a car too big it's impossible.

Wonderful stay!! Thanks a lot.

Decent little hotel, very friendly staff, clean rooms. The downside is that one of the rooms we had was a little humid and the bathroom in the other one smelled of humidity, probably because the shower is badly setup and water gets all over the floor when showering

Manger was wonderful

A very unique property. Very different from other hotels. My room was very clean but had only a TV. There is no coffee/tea maker in room, no mini fridge, so you must go out for any coffee. There is no restaurant on site. Basically just your room. So a short walk into town for some waters and snacks is a must. It is a good location and walkable to where the buses and tuk tuks are. Sintra is very lovely and this property made it a little more special by being very unique and out of the city.

A couple parking spots available if you drive. But getting up the driveway is very tight. I did it with a Renault captur. Very comfortable room and walking distance to center of town.

Our 2 rooms were comfortable, large and with great showers. 1 bedroom had a distinct mildew smell, but I realize that comes with older buildings. The building is in the heart of Sintra, perfectly located. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without a car. There are 2 potential spaces for a car, but you need to drive in reverse up a curved road to park. Because the hotel is off a main road, people, store front items also block the entrance. We needed to park 1/2 mile away and return to our car every 4 hours to feed the meter ( free parking midnight -8). We loved the location, people, rooms but having a car was a hinderance

Everyone one was so helpful and very attentive. We will come back in the near future. A great place to stay.

Chaotic arrival & check in. Please do your homework prior to staying in Sintra if you are arriving by car. We found parking is at a premium on the weekends during the summer season. The accomodation had a million to one shot clutch burning very narrow steep climb against the flow on a one way system good luck with that one ! There is a steel green door next to the road that has to be hammered on to attract the attention of the staff in the accomodation, myself & an American couple managed to achieve this after about 40 minutes.

We booked our stay 4+ months ago, but the hotel suddenly cancelled our reservation just 5 days before we were due to check in. They gave no reason why, and when we called only said it may have been done in error. Our only option was to rebook through Hotels.com at a much higher price. I can't help but feel cynical about their reasons for doing this.
I sent them a message several weeks before check in to ask about potential car parking options. They never replied, so we made arrangements to return our rental car before arrival and take the train. Then I received a pre-arrival automated message saying they have parking available. Very frustrating.
The room itself was okay. The bed was comfortable, but the shower dripped noisily and the floors were quite dirty (I noticed my bare feet getting grimy). The neighbor's dog barked loudly and intermittently both nights of our stay, so our sleep wasn't very good. The website says breakfast is an option but when we asked about it during check-in we were told it was unavailable.

Good location.
But bedclothes were not washed
They had so bad smell
Plus, a receptionist couldn't find my booking list ,which made me wait
Exterior of the house was not organized well. It's quite different with the pictures on the app.

We enjoyed our stay ! Close to center of Sintra village, a few minutes walk down quant streets… passing by places to get your morning cappuccino and pastry or tondo a little gift shopping. The staff were very friendly . They offered to hold our bags if we needed while we walked around on our check out day. It was a little hard to find. We were thankful that we took an Uber to Sintra, so we were dropped off right at the street.
