Where do I even start? The place looks amazing in photos but there are tons of problems.
- From the moment we arrived, we couldn't get the unit door to open because it was jammed. We had to call the onsite security who had to force it open.
- Next, their internet stopped working every 10 minutes. We reported this to the management but they couldn't get it fixed during our 3-night stay
- We couldn't sleep well either because some electrical device was constantly beeping 24/7 right outside our unit.
- The bathroom sinks were clogged. If you made the mistake of keeping the tap running for 2 minutes, you'd now have to wait 10 minutes for the water to go down.
- The place wasn't cleaned well either. There was dust and hair in some places, and a single piece of sock behind the couch. We later found stains on one of the bedroom cushions which looked like sem*n stains.
- Finally the blinds did not sit flush against the windows, so despite being closed, people on the main road could see directly inside the room.
We couldn't wait to get out of this place. Unfortunately, all other hotels were booked full so we didn't really have a choice.

We thought all was good- but when we arrived the light was hanging from the ceiling. It took them two days to come and fix it. There were ants in the room. Got into all our food left on counter and in cupboards. Communication and them coming to fix something was horrible. We were not able to use one shower , super inconvenient . I would not stay here again

Overall our unit was really nice, but there are a few areas that need improvement:
-the pool was not clean
-carelessly repaired (non working lights and a fixture falling down)
-front entrance door really loud/can hear it slamming
-other units partying
-check in was not as simple as I would have liked

The property was perfect for our party of five people. The bedrooms were large. The common areas were spacious. The Saint Charles Street car line stop was about a block away so that was convenient. This accommodation is close to a Rouses market to get groceries. There are a couple of coffee shops nearby, but you’ll have to go a little further away to get more restaurants. The beds are very comfortable. The closets are great as well, with a light in them. Look for the light switch inside the closet. If you are sensitive to light, know that light from nearby businesses can come in at night through the mini blinds. We were impressed by the fact that the faucets were Grohe and the dishwasher was Bosch. Nice equipment. The freezer in the refrigerator was not working, but the staff was able to provide bagged ice for us.

Nice place if you planning to come stay in the room . But it’s a long walk to canal or burbon street I ended up spending 200 for 4 days of parking . And the parking spaces are so small

I loved the area of Roami at Motorworks because it was a good walking distance from the French quarter and it was far enough that it wasn't loud at night. It was perfectly located between the garden district and other areas to allow easy access to things nearby. Definitely recommend it for folks who would like quieter nights and for folks who would like to stay longer (plenty of room in the fridge for food!)
Space was clean, well lit, and super welcoming. I liked the digital welcome screen by the front door.
Would love to stay again in the future.

Clean property that is walkable to the French quarter. Great place to watch the parades. More than enough supplies (towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc) for the entire group. Very responsive hosts.

Would like better parking options but overall I was very pleased.

I loved everything about this place except for the smell! I don’t know if it’s because of the pipes but it just smelled like bathroom all in the hallway and also in the room

There was a lot of traffic noise and guns being shot around the location. One of the windows leaked when it rained.

Beautiful apartment! It had everything we needed and then some. Located away from all the hoopla but close enough so we could walk to dining and attractions. Easy street parking, amenities and luxurious comfort!

It was an awesome apartment! Right by a trolley and great place to walk around. Only thing, you can hear the water running through the pipes and no onsite parking, you have to walk up the block! Beautiful interior!

I wanted to love this place but the management made it too hard. None of the remote controls worked, one of the showers was leaking, a lot of the sockets didn’t have power. I called 4-5 times but maintenance ppl never came. The place looked nice but was lacking in a lot of areas.

The apartment was beautiful but...the sheets had hair on them when we went to pull the covers back. The elevator was not working for 2.5 days of our 4 day trip. The shower doors was missing or it just wasn't one so the floors got wet while showering making a huge mess. I would not stay at another Motorworks Sextant again.

We had the pleasure of staying at Sextant Stays from February 20th-23rd and what an amazing experience it was!
We were taken aback by the size, cleanliness, decor and the beautiful structural layout of the apartment.
I booked the reservations through Expedia and we saw some pictures of the apartment however, those pictures did not do the space any justice! The highlight of our trip was staying at Sextant’s and I look forward to staying at other Sextant locations in the future! If I could, I’d rate my stay 10 STARS!
Thank you so much Sextant Stays for this amazing experience!

The location was awesome, I loved the access to the building and how ease of a check in process it was. Definitely will be my stay location when I am in New Orleans. No more hotels.

The condo was spacious and most of the furniture was in good condition. We had six people in a three bedroom and unfortunately the hot water heater has a two person an hour capacity. Once we got the shower routine down things went smoother. Overall, the stay was decent. The building is nice and the roof patio is great to meet other travelers. It’s far enough away from the French Quarter to be peaceful but close enough to catch a 10 minute Uber. We had friends staying in a two bedroom at the front of the building and they had an equally nice apartment.

*READ FACTS HERE - NOT SHOWN ELSEWHERE*1. $110 CLEANING FEE. Not disclosed. Place was dirty and not serviced daily.2. Location is a few blocks from homeless tent area under highway bridges. Be careful at night. Location is way away from most everything useful to me. Circle K gas station is near, but very sketchy patrons.3. Major construction currently ongoing next door. Jack hammers starting 7am - 7pm. Improvement is good - just NOT while im paying all the extra fees.4. You must register at Stay Alfred website to get check in instructions, extra fees, and other information. Its a hassle.....I got bombarded with emails and will be blocking now that my stay is completed.5. It is IMPOSSIBLE to enter the unit until 3pm of your booked stay - its automated. If you arrive early, you are SOL or can hang out at tent city. At 3pm our housekeepers were still not done and we waited longer as they talked on mobile phones and cleaned. Afterward not impressed with cleanliness....6. The place is spacious, new, and looks nice. Totally Ikea style with everything broke possible. Toilet not bolted down, ALL toilet paper holders broke, cold faucet is hot and vice versa, windows leak cold air, WIFI ??? what WIFI?, Bedframe broke but I fixed, cheap and crappy fixtures everywhere, microwave sounds like it will explode, door on garbage keeps swinging open by itself..... I could go on for pages - you get the idea. Spacious, new, but that is where it stops.

The property is well styled and in a good location. We were a short walk or Uber ride from pretty much everything we were interested in doing in the city. The check in process was also pretty easy if you follow the information provided ahead of time by the property. The kitchen is stocked with some basic utensils, pots and pans. That is where the positives end. I’ll preface by saying we paid over $2100.00 for our four night stay. Upon check in we noticed there was no hot water in the master. We were told it would be 24 hours before someone could come address the issue. Next, we noticed that the shower would flood the bathroom and bedroom when used. The shower seal was not properly affixed. Another 24 hours to be addressed. We had to use towels to clean the flooding and getting new towels was a nightmare. One time someone came to bring towels and left claiming they didn’t have a key to get in to drop off the towels. The televisions didn’t work. They were smart televisions trying to upload whatever was needed to operate. The download never completed. We were unable to connect to the WiFi. Our sheets were stained with yellow stains and hair that did not belong to us, upon arrival. Communication with property management is horrible. There is a local number and a general concierge number. They do not seem to communicate with each other. There was no sense of urgency in addressing our issues and we were given the run around regarding remedy. Would not stay here again.

No hair dryer I called and was brought soon. The washer has a humid odor, I didn’t use it. Kept the door closed

The area is great and so is the building but the apartment was not clean. The bathroom and bedroom floors were not swept or mopped and there was hair and dust bunnies on the floor. Need body soap In addition you hand soap. Warn people staying that there is construction next door. The walls are extremely thin and can hear everything.
