We had a great experience. The coral level feels like a boutique hotel within a much larger hotel. Definitely appreciated the coral only dining options and pools / beach spaces - allowed for an air conditioned breakfast / lunch buffet which was nice when it was so hot out. There was also more space between the pool / beach chairs compared to the other areas of the hotel, and plenty of chairs available (in mid-May). It was worth the additional charge for coral level (for us at least). The food was consistently good (perhaps just a little too salty), and some meals were particularly exceptional. The hospitality was great, everyone had a smile on their face and was so friendly. We would happily come back to the coral level Iberostar properties in the future!

Loved it have a casino and night club. The Golf Course was in great conditions.

Great stay!

The hotel is gorgeous, and the staff is amazing. They are very friendly and always greet you with a smile, which instantly makes you feel happy too. The staff consistently checked in about our experience with the food, room, amenities, etc. Any issues we reported to any member of the staff were promptly resolved. Overall, it was a great experience! Definitely worth it.

Great family spot with fantastic service. Our concierge Samuel added a really nice personal touch making sure we had a great time. The food options are fantastic, especially the buffet. The beach is wonderful
But it is the friendly staff who really make experience stand out.

The staff was amazing
The beach was excellent
The evening shows for the kids could be better. It felt rushed

The hotel was beautiful and the majority of the staff were VERY accommodating and pleasant. There are always a few bad apples, but you learn quickly who to avoid. The problem with Coral Level is this: They tout it as "exclusive" and you have your own "exclusive" restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Problem is the food is always cold. And I mean like it's been in the fridge and the heat lamps and the hot plates don't work.
The entertainment for the children is sorely lacking. Maybe we've been spoiled by RIU but the "kiddie show" around dinner time was hit or miss. Some days nothing at all. In 7 days, saw the same thing 3 times which would have been OK had it been entertaining. Half an hour of Simon Says one day then a lesson on how to save the reefs. Even the 4 year old was bored.
The refrigerator in the room is only a wine cooler. Can't really keep anything cold.
There is nothing around telling you about the nightly entertainment or daily activities. When you ask, you're told to use the app. The app isn't all that and really when you're dealing with us older folks, a sign would be helpful.
The waitstaff on the beach were beyond awesome. And I do mean beyond awesome.
Check in was a hassle but check out was the most efficient of any place we've ever been. Asked for a taxi to the airport the night before, and it was there waiting for us half an hour ahead of schedule.
I have a lot more to tell you but Expedia only allows 1500 characters...

Very special! Perfect place to relax! They go out of their way for you!

There are 4 Iberostar hotels (Grand, Selection, Coral Level, Dominicana) sitting next to each other.
I reserved Coral-Level for 2 family rooms availability reason (my couple and 2 grown daughters had 2 separate bedroom villa with a connecting door) and this was a perfect decision.
Coral Level runs a Coral level guests only exclusive restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner with all options including seafood, steak and etc everyday. Also Coral level has 110 rooms which makes the resort very quiet and peaceful. Selection Iberostar has a big swimming pool with over 400 rooms and is more like Cancun in a party atmosphere and many families. Most of the reservation needed dinner restaurants are in Selection Iberostar. Grand Iberostar is an adult only, more elegant & classic look and is very quiet.

Great beach. Love the little catamarans and kayaks. Good food and drink. Dining service could be a bit better otherwise a perfect vacation.

The property was great, i truly enjoy the Spa, the staff was really great from checking in at Corales and checking out. Will be back for sure

Food was not good! Will not go back.

Our room night one did not have functioning air conditioning. This was a problem as it was 93 and humid. They sent someone out to look at it but they were unable to repair. The next morning Oliver from Guest Services stopped by and took us to another room to see if that would work. It was air conditioned and proved to be a great move. He also apologized for the inconvenience and gave our party free massages. After that we had a wonderful time at the resort, pools, ocean and dining facilities. Also enjoyed the show we attended. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a great time in Punta Cana.

Staff and service
4.2
I strongly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel. From our arrival, the experience was subpar. The concierge prioritized pitching us Club memberships over basic hotel information, like app details, maps, QR codes for restaurants, and schedules.
Hygiene is questionable here. I was handed a crumpled napkin from a waitress's pocket; she insisted it was clean despite my concerns. At the Faro restaurant, a waitress left the restroom and went straight to serve tables without washing her hands. Worse, I contracted food poisoning, possibly from their food handling, and had a troubling experience at the hospital where they failed to correctly insert an IV, bruising my arm. Their staff's attitude added to the distress.
Our room wasn't free from issues; we discovered a cockroach and a lizard on our second night. Maintenance took over 45 minutes to respond. The cleaning service was merely symbolic, only making beds without replenishing essentials like towels. I had to call multiple times for new towels after they removed wet ones and left none in return. The room's sheets were coarse and the pillows substandard, not fitting for a supposed upscale hotel.
Tipping upfront seems to be the only way to get prompt service from the staff. We were wholly let down by this experience. We won't consider Iberostar hotels in the future and advise others to think twice before booking.

I loved this place and will definitely be back soon. The convenience and how friendly the staff were really amazed my family.

Coral level at Iberostar Selection Bavaro was something great! It was a true 5 star experience! The personnel was super friendly, our concierge, Leo was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed; bartenders, waitresses and especially the cook that was checking the food and talking to customers were very friendly and provided a great service! Food, drinks, everything was a great quality that we were pleasantly surprised with (our previous experience in a different hotel in Punta Cana was not good at all, that’s why we didn’t expect much). The beach was amazing, very little seaweed some days. The evening entertainment specifically at Coral level bar area was really nice and cozy, it was like a private party with great performers!
Overall, this hotel was awesome! Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel. The Coral itself Is located within the Bávaro Selection, which is more massive, so if you are looking for quite, go for Coral Level. The service was outstanding and food and accomodations were excellent

Very clean , staff friendly, variety of restaurants- but we preferred buffet style

Staff so helpful, buffet great, beautiful beach area, great value.

Property is good but staff needs to be trained in quality customer service

A beautiful resort with decent dining options, (mostly) great service, fun nightly shows/entertainment, and comfortable, villa-style rooms. We will go back.
Only annoyances to note were regularly being approached by employees at beach and pool trying to sell you excursions or other upgrades, awfully expensive pricing of sundries in the gift shops, and people being allowed to "reserve" cabanas and umbrellas at the beach and pools by draping a towel over the chairs. Cabanas would sit for hours unused until the person came down for an hour or two later in the day. We never found a free cabana or umbrella the entire week.
Service was exceptional overall, with only one bad experience at the Brave Steakhouse restaurant. We were ignored for a long time before being greeted, waited longer than usual between courses, and had to fetch one of our drinks at the service counter because it was never delivered. We ended up leaving before dessert arrived because we got tired of waiting.

Very clean

Our experience was amazing. The service and experience in the hotel are excellent. Our concierge Rafael was very attentive and helped us with anything we needed, and the activities crew (Coca Cola, Mariachi) did a great a job in keeping people entertained.
The room was big and well equipped. The food st El Faro was really good and also the Japanese restaurant was a different experience.
Overall exceeded our expectations, I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful serene property. Happy staff! Food is awesome. Stayed 6 days and it was a culinary delight!!
4.2
Beautiful water and beach….However,
no A/C in our room and it was so hot. The food was not good and only available at certain times. Must make reservations to restaurants at hotel prior to arrival.
4.2
Not worth the extra money. Advertised as premium resort exclusive resort, but no different than “ lower/ less expensive levels. Resort was understaffe!. Room air condition was broke in room and staff advised for three day that we had to “ deal with it”
4.2
Beach was very nice, AC in the room didn’t work, food wasn’t very good!

Very nice service and staf
4.2
The food was really good and everything was close by - the beach, the pool and the private dining area.

Everything was wonderful at the Coral Level. The staff was incredible, especially Miguel, our concierge and Rosa our housekeeper. Everyone made us feel welcome, the drinks and food were perfect, and even though it rained, we still had a blast!
4.2
I liked that the property is located ion the beach Being a smaller resort service is very personal.
4.2
Excellent food and great services. Wonderful staff from the moment we arrived. Hotel room is very clean - comfy beds. Two cleaning services every day. Nice beach, plenty of tiki huts and chairs to relax with Resto and bars near by. For amateur golfers, this is the place in Punta Cana. Beautiful golf facility. We will be back. Kudos to Management and Staff!
