Seasoned traveller here. I was frantically pacing around inside Antalya airport on a very, very spontaneous vacation. Usually I am very research oriented especially with hotels. This time I only found out I was going to Antalya an hour before the plane left from Sabiha Gökcen. The pictures looked fine, nothing really looked too scary or cheap. This also wasn't the cheapest option nor the most expensive option, which, at least for me, is good. Best of all: Very, very good ratings. Here's the truth. Almost all the ratings I saw were mentioning the host/several hosts and while they were very nice and helpful as they should be, good hosts is not equal to a 10/10 stay. Here are a few mentions for what in my opinion was "bad": - Cleaning staff came into my room twice while I was out and once while I was sleeping when I didn't give my permission. There was no usual "sign" on the door, so I was VERY scared when I was almost asleep and they come in. Day 2 there was a cat in my room because cleaning was in there. Like, come on. - Bathroom I literally could not sit down to take a dump. I'm not skinny but I am also not the fattest of them all. It was a JOKE how small the bathroom was. - Pillows were super uncomfortable. Bed 5/10. I don't sleep too sound so maybe it's mostly me but still not super. - Last day hotel filled with shouting children at 8AM. Rooms not soundproofed... From me it's a SOLID 2/10. Breakfast was a joke but I can't write more in my review. :'(

It was a lovely hotel! It’s a shame that I was there for a single night. This renovated mansion will mesmerise you with it’s beauty. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. They were kind enough to offer me Turkish coffee and some fruits as I worked remotely from my laptop. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Location is superb!

The property is in the heart of the old town. Friendly staff. My room was on the ground floor right next to the reception. It was extremely noisy, so i could barely sleep. I could hear every word and every sound from the outside: staff talking, people coming in and out, telephone ringing, music playing at the bar across the street. I asked staff for a different room but was told that they are all noisy. The room is also tiny. If you have a large suitcase, it would block you from getting to the bathroom.

Cedrus is an exceptionally beautiful small hotel in old Antalya. It's a boutique hotel with unique beautiful decor and lovely staff and service. The hotel offers wonderful Mediterranean breakfast. It's location is perfect; it is quiet and yet provides walkable access to the bustling area of Kaleiçi with shops, food, a beach and lively nightlife. Highly recommended.

Lovely situated hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean bedrooms and lovely breakfast. Hotel is right in the middle of town which makes it very convenient. Local shops restaurants, and some sightseeings are walking distance. Not far from the airport too.

Everything was fantastic. Just know that the rooms are quite small.
