They have an amazing staff, the breakfast was delicious, the view from our room was breathtaking infront of Wat Arun, the room was spacious and elegant. Walking distance to the temples, many options for food and shopping nearby. We really enjoy our time in Arun Riverside, made our trip to Bangkok more memorable.

Super easy access to all the tourist attractions. And the staff soo friendly and very helpful. I would love to come back in same hotel.

Great location with amazing river view and in walking distance to the temples.
Most importantly you feel at home - the staff (shoutout to Anuwat!) is very nice and accommodating.
Great roofdeck with river view (closes at 10pm to avoid noise for hotel guests). Very nice, relaxing place in this bustling city!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food in hotel was excellent. Can’t beat the view of Wat Arun from our room. Very convenient to the palace and temples. Visit in morning and back to hotel to escape the heat and then out again in late afternoon. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms, the rooftop restaurant, and the hospitality are great.

Absolutely overpriced. At £120 a night id expect more. Firstly I booked and seconds later received an email from the hotel saying they’re would be construction noise all day, and sorry for the late notice but they “just found out”. Absolute rubbish. I tried to cancel and they said it’s not their fault, and they made it known to hotels & it’s their fault it wasn’t listed in the advert. Hotels said they couldn’t cancel because of a ‘fault’ and suggested I call at 4 am when I landed in Bangkok to resolve- ridiculous! The hotel are money grabbers obviously.
It’s down a horrible dirty street, when I arrived in the early hours the receptionist was snoring on a chair. The ‘lobby’ was a tip- stuff everywhere, drinks on the desk, just a mess.no lift, only a dumb waiter for the bags. One male member of staff was friendly, the other woman didn’t bother to look up from her phone when I said hello to check out. The reception desk was so messy it looked like a teenager bedroom. The room was just ok- tired in parts. View of a temple across the way but like a building site surrounding. When I left a woman was sat on the floor wirh RAW bags of chicken, sorting though food?they seem to use the Lobby for whatever they want, it absolutely smelled horrible too. Only good thing was 5 min walk from buddah. Can get much nicer hotels in the area for the same £.

Great location for visiting the main sights - not as big a hotel as we thought but that wasn't a problem. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfasts simple but tasty and the rooftop bar and restaurant were great.
4.9
Room is clean but dated. Thai style hotel with friendly service but in need of some minor repairs. You’re definitely paying a premium for the view of the temple across the river.

Great view of wat Arun very nice hotel

My stay was amazing! I loved the food, especially at lunch and the view was superb. Just a couple tips:
1. The hotel did not supply a toothbrush/toothpaste or lotion. Bring them yourself!
2. If you plan to be staying at the hotel a lot during the day, make sure you ask not to be on the 4th floor. The restaurant/bar was right above me and I could often hear the noise of setting up. I was gone for most of the day so this didn’t bother me at all.
3. No elevator! Like most boutique hotels, there is only a lift for luggage. Be prepared to walk.
Overall, I had a wonderful time. Service was amazing and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Splendid room with Wat Arun view. Chaopraya River Room is highly recommended. Great service from attentive staff. A very best staycation place in Bangkok.

Everything was comfortable. Nice view, location, clean room and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel to my friends.

I brought my mom and dad an executive studio for their vacation. They love the "million dollar view" right across from Wat Arun. Customer service is superb for breakfast as well as house cleaning. Within walking distance to multiple famous temples in Bangkok is a plus! Book here you won't be disappointed. The only downside is limited parking. If you bring a car, please call hotel staff in advance for parking accommodation.

We stayed here during very low seasons at a deep discounted price. The location is great. It is right on the river front.

Wow, if you're after a hotel with a view, this is the place. The view from our room on the second floor was as you can see in the images published. We were shocked at the amazing view when we were shown to our room, and I can imagine the views from the higher up rooms are even more stunning.
This hotel is a 1 minute walk from the The Grand Palace and the shortest possible ferry ride in Bangkok to Wat Arun. For sightseeing the location is second to none.
The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. Arranging taxis for us and even carrying our bags to the end of the street to the taxi when we were departing.
The hotel bar has incredible views of Wat Arun, and also of the Grand Palace. Drinks and food were both very good, and at a reasonable rate, considering the location.
Rooms were comfy, modern and clean. Beds slightly hard, but I wouldn't let that put you off. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Very nicely maintained, small hotel in palace area. Nice breakfast and a beautiful dinner terrace overlooking the river with great views.

Location! One major historic temple across the street and the largest historic temple within a 20 minute walk. Several good restaurants a short walk away.
Located on Chao Prayo river, visible from upper floors, with a 24/7 parade of commerce and tourism.
It’s a very small, pleasant hotel on five floors without an elevator.

Impressed with the quality of the hotel - felt very new. It is centrally located to a lot of the tourist sites (Grand Palace and Wat Pho), so it was easy for us to walk. Great breakfast spread.

The hotel room was amazing. We had to walk up quite a few stairs to get there but it was worth it. The shower was SPECTACULAR. Everything was nice, clean, and well done. The surrounding area was not as nice, you had to turn down an alley to get to the door. But once inside, the location didn't even matter. The Riverview was amazing as well. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Well worth it. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Our stay here was amazing. Jet lag had us up in the middle of the night and the view of Wat Arun was incredible. Highly recommend being up late or early enough to see the temple lit up with no boat traffic on the river.

Everything is perfect. I will never forget that beautiful view.

Don’t have enough time to read my review? Here is a summary: Book the executive studio suite with a river view and balcony you won’t regret it! Zoom, Kathy, Maew, and the rest of the staff are phenomenal.
Communication before arrival: The front desk of the hotel closes at 10:00 pm and our plane was scheduled to land at 9:30. When I emailed the hotel, I received a prompt response that someone would wait at the hotel until we arrived.
Late Arrival: We arrived around 11pm and as promised, several employees were waiting and they met us with positive energy/ genuine interest in making our stay a memorable one.
State of the room and view: EXACTLY as advertised.
Breakfast: Every night we put our breakfast order in and let the staff know what time we anticipated eating. There are several options - our favorite was the pancakes, bananas, and bacon. The cook, Maew, did such an excellent job that my mom thanked him in person, twice! In addition to the made-to-order items, there are staples (i.e. cereal, milk, assorted fruit, toast, and bottled water).
Hospitality: Everyone, including Zoom and Kathy, went the extra mile to make sure our stay was pleasant.
Location: Near Wat Arun and the Grand Palace. There are also taxis and tuk tuks nearby in case the Grab app isn’t working.
Vibe: Young hotel (at the time about a month old) primed and ready to make a splash on the river front.
Thank you to the Arun Riverside staff for making our first stop in Thailand a memorable one!!
