I thought the staff was great. They were very responsive and polite in their communication with me. It was good value and well designed. I wish there were Fuzzy Logs in every city I travel to.

The hotel is very convenient, just 5mins walk to the central train station and 3mins walk to the CityHotel(meet points for day tour). DM drug stores in just next to the hotel entrance and supermarkets are just 3 mins away. many restaurants around. The bed is big / it’s queen size I think. The room have enough space for putting personal staffs / languages. There are a big common area for drinks and chats. The hotel offers coffee and pastries as well. I think this is a good value for budget stay.

Shower is good. But mattress were flat! Our backs were hurting at the end of our stay. It’s okay for a night but not for two or longer.

The fuzzy log is in an ideal location very close to the centre of Ljubljana. The cabins are ideal and very comfortable for a few nights stay. The lobby area is also quite nice, with plenty of seating and space. We got breakfast one morning and it was great value for money, there was a great selection. The cleanliness of the bathrooms were ok. They could have been cleaner at times and were running out of toilet paper and paper towels towards the end of the day. Maybe it would be better to have someone monitoring these facilities throughout the day/into the night. Overall though we had a lovely stay here and this is only something small.

Nice stay in our little room. Great madrass and we were mostly in our room for sleeping and storage (quilte small storage in room). We liked the common room and terace and it was very possible to get a Seat and table. Shared kitchen was nice, but hard to come by, since many had the idea to use it. Almost 100 rooms for one kitchen. Washing machine was also booked most of the time and cost 4 euro for washing and also 4 euro for drying. Bath and toilets are numerous :).

The hotels showers and bathrooms was so dirty at all times. In my room there was no ventilation what so ever, and when I woke up it was difficult to breath.

Great value for money.
Perfect location and everywhere is walkable from the ibis.
The social areas were really nice with table tennis and areas to sit.
We stayed in one of the private rooms. Very different to what we’ve stayed in before but exciting to try something new. Only downside is that the room gets quite hot.
Thank you for the lovely stay!

Amazing place to stay !! Super walkable and overall great amenities. Sometimes the bathroom or kitchen would be a teensy messy, but that’s really more on the guests than the property. Plus it would get cleaned in a timely manner. 5/5 stars in my book as a solo female traveller !

The people working there were very nice, and the rooms had good sound proofing with great beds. Very good experience.

On the 7th floor IBIS built sleeping modules that reminded me of the bedrooms at Stena Lines ferries. You get a bed, a table and that's it. The shower and toilet facility you'll have to share. You can choose a relatively private version (four separate shower/toilet units) or a larger version with several on a row. The public is mainly youngsters. The breakfast is rich of choice and serves from 06.30. It's just 10 minutes comfortable walk from main train and bus station. Wonderful view over city and castle. Just try it!

It’s a Hostel in a great location in a fantastic city.First experience of sleeping in a capsule in a dormitory.Late booking and not much available in town under 100 euros,no complaints ,people friendly, young travellers back packers vibe, nice terrace, helpful staff .
Choice of different types of accomodation .
Has a big kitchen and self catering/eating area, fridge the later clearly not big enough or not emptied out, that’s the downside as usual in such shared facilities is selfish people who don’t clean up after themselves happy to leave a sink full of unwashed plates …aargh humanity
I got in early for use of washing machine and drier 8 euros for a load

Good location, clean rooms (bathrooms not so much, but ok), helpful staff, lockers are easy for storing bags before or after your stay. Ladder for the upper cabins take a little to get used to but doable!
Overall, a pleasant stay

We enjoyed our one-night stay. Our cabin room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. It was nice to have access to a shared kitchen to prepare snacks and meals.

The lights, while funky, never did learn how to turn them off, and it was a distance from the room to the all-gender washroom (which unfortunately was not very clean), but all this was compensated by excellent staff other than the grumpy old guy at 5am when I had to check out, but who could blame him? It was 5am.

Lovely comfortable stay as a couple for 3 nights.
Would recommend a bottom cabin as step aren’t comfortable to climb nor easy to get up.
I found it very clean however bad drain smell to the point I was sick. So hope this improves.
Bed was very comfortable, due to being on the top bed I found it got very hot in the night starts off comfortable then gets uncomfortable.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. There is a communal kitchen which people left a mess in however the staff took it upon themselves to clean (which they shouldn’t have too). Table tennis and table top football to keep you entertained. It snowed when we went so we didn’t use the outdoor terrace however it offered excellent views of the city including the castle.
EXCELLENT LOCATION 5 minutes from the bus station( even as someone who’s not the fastest. And great location to the town.

The experience, to stay in a „fuzzy log“, was really good. The private room & other places in the hotel are clean and modern.
This Hotel is really central, you can reach all LJU-sights and have a good connection to the railway station.
The staff should me more friendly. There were no question „how was your trip“ at the check-in & also not a „thank you for staying with us“ at the check-out - for me this belongs to a good hotel. This time is was not a warm welcome.

It was a good idea to make a cheap rooms for affordable stays in Ljubljana. But My room was upstairs and it was very difficult for me to climb up and down. At the first time I fell down and I still have bruise on my legs. I couldn’t go to washroom because of the stairs at night. Otherwise, maybe if I had lower bed I didn’t have any problems.

This was my first stay in a hotel/hostel with small caspel rooms and I was worried beforehand whether it would meet my requirements. In the end I was very surprised because the room was very small and had no windows and no bathroom, BUT I was very satisfied because everything was very modern, cosy and technologically up to date. The bathrooms were also always clean and there were enough toilets and showers for all guests. I slept very well at night as the rooms are very well isolated and the mattress was very comfortable. The hotel also has spacious social areas where you can sit comfortably, have a coffee, etc. The centre of Ljubljana was a few minutes' walk away and the train and bus stations are also in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. All in all, an unexpectedly good stay! Recommended for those who do not have high expectations of a room and only need the bare essentials.

I booked a capsule with private bathroom, at least that is what I thought. Despite the fact that the bathroom is private is written in the reservation I came and realized I have to share it with 7 more people.
I refuse and was offered regular room for additional 100€ :-(
Very unhappy

It is not what you can expect of an Ibis Hotel. You can barely move on the room, Matress ot of its life. Dis not acommodate us on canceling even that they were full. A disgrace of place for 80 euros. It is worth 20 euros at max. Breakfast overpriced and bad. Bathrooms barey cleaned and you have to share!! Do not go. Pay a little more and choose a hotel where you can have a minimum space and your privacy.

For those who love to stay the night in a horror hostel. Your room neighbor sleeps on a plywood above your bed in which you have to crawl like an animal. Even sleeping at the railway station is a better experience. Only for the masochistic connoisseur.

The common areas were nice and cheery, with a cool rooftop patio. I stayed in a “cabin” pod which was nice and clean, with fun colorful lights inside, but had a pretty thin mattress. Shared bathrooms were fine, about what you’d expect for a hostel. Breakfast was very expensive for the area though at €15 euros per person, so would skip that. Overall good setup and great location ~10 min walking from the center, but was definitely expensive for what we got (but we stayed in August and booked just a couple months out, so that was what was available).

Really good hostel! Fresh and clean. Really enjoyable views from the rooftop bar, and rooftop gym! Would recommend.
