Excellent hotel! Very attentive and thoughtful staff - mario was excellent! Very clean and thoughtfully equipped room. The colibri room was a small one for 1 person. After i booked it - they sent me a message explaining that it was not a full sized room - i thought that was so thoughtful. The room still had a fridge, coffee maker, coffee, tea, sugar, cups, a spoon, drinking water, a place for clothes, A/c, etc many windows and good airflow. Of course it’s own bathroom and towels. The only thing it didn’t have was a quilt - but this is not customary here. The property is well located close to the lagoon and restaurants. The pool is a good temperature and well-designed with places to sit in the pool and areas of sun and shade. Everything was very clean and the property felt secure. At the end mario requested a taxi for me and the ride to the ADO was 40 pesos. Thank you to the staff for an excellent stay.

We loved the room it was a perfect option for my family(2adults 3 kids). We spent out time walking around the town square and lagoon. Karla helped us book our lagoon tour which was amazing. Great overall experience for our first time visiting Bacalar. We thank everyone and we’ll definitely come back!

Very easy checkin checkout. The personal is very nice and friendly. I asked them about the attractions and area. They recommended a boat tour in the lake and he showed me a nice route for walking. The room was a junior suite with a kitchen, it was clean and comfortable with a small patio. The location is excellent for dining, coffee and walking. I would stay at the hotel again if I travel to the area again.

The ground floor suite Piña was immaculate and perfectly equipped for all our needs at an enormous discount from rack rates. Plus the hotel's location was just one block from the two best restaurants in town Bacalar lagoon fro ting La Playita and Italian beyond excellence Finisterre.

It’s a very cute and cozy establishment. I really enjoyed my stay, it was at the perfect location with everything at walking distance and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend.

The staff is so amazing! I moved rooms while I was here because they upgraded me to a bigger room. I left a tip for the housekeeper, and she reported it as something I left behind. I needed a taxi to Chetumal early in the morning, and they called and booked it for me the day before. It’s conveniently located close to the shore and el Centro. Thank you! I had a very enjoyable stay.

This was a very stay. Great location, Wi-Fi and hot water. The street can be a little noisy at times but I was still able to get some sleep. My only complaint is that they need to buy new bedding and towels as they are very worn out. Otherwise it was a very nice stay.

The hotel was in very clean and beautiful, felt like a little hidden jungle oasis inside the town. Everything was pleasant and the provide with free bottled water too in the room. Only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the water from the shower.

Loved this little gem of a place. We had a second floor room over looking the pool. The room was very spacious. There was a small kitchen with a fridge and gas cooktop. The shower was great, good pressure and hot water. The bed was comfy. It has a nice pool area. The hotel is very clean. Location is walking distance to the lagoon, several restaurants and stores. The Ado station is a fifteen minute walk. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We were expecting a lot from this place from the reviews and it was nice, but quite basic and a bit run down e.g. our room had cracks in the walls, the chopping board was broken. Stuff like that. The beds were comfy but the sofas and chairs weren’t. The pool is nice but again, the chairs and loungers are uncomfortable. It was one of the more expensive places we stayed on our travels so I think we were just expecting a bit more. The free coffee and water was very appreciated :-)

This place is amazing! Everything about it is top notch. The units have full kitchens, the beds are super comfortable, and the pool area is well maintained. The location is close to the beaches and downtown area with lots of cool restaurants. Oh, the staff is wonderful.

Me siento seguro y tranquilo cuando estoy en mi cuarto. Los jardines son hermosos y la piscina esta tan limpia. Todo la gente aqui son muy amable a mi y eso es tan importante cuando una persona esta viajando sola. Puedo caminar por todo porque esta en el centro pero puedo regresar al hotel es en realidad un oasis.

This beautiful little hotel was so quiet, spacious, well-appointed, and pleasant that we decided to stay an extra few days and changed our whole itinerary because it was so hard to leave. Exceptionally clean and well maintained, within easy walking distance of the best food in town, historic colonial fort, and relaxing swims in bacalar lagoon and cenote azul. Great, attentive staff!!

Couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Bacalar, location was awsome, everything was within walking distance (the lagoon less than 100 metres). The bed was super comfortable! Everything was really clean and tidy! The place also had kitchen and a beautiful pool. Steven, the owner was really nice and helpful! My stay at Bacalar was unforgettable. I will come back, for sure!

Lo que más me gustó fue la comodidad del lugar y la excelente ubicación que tiene, todo queda cerca y es muy accesible moverte. La suite que compartí con mi familia estuvo perfecta, las camas cómodas y todos los servicios muy agradables. Recomiendo mucho hospedarse en Oasis suites.
