A large fancy hotel in the middle of Fukuoka, turned out very affordable with coupons

Recommended 👍 good location which is just in the middle of Tenjin and Canal City, easy access to both main area in Fukuoka, restaurants and coffee shops nearby too. Hotel staff are very nice, we are able to get a 3-beds room upon arrival, room size is very reasonable as compared to other hotels in Japan. The in hotel spa is definitely an add on bonus!

The hotel is located about a third of a mile from the bus and train stations. The subway entrance however is close which leads to an underground shopping complex. The room was spacious but the bathroom lacked any counter space. The hotel has a public bath which we enjoyed. The bath has a hot water, heat sauna and cold water plunge. If you stay here you should take advantage of using it.

Great place to stay if you are looking to stay inside the city

Very clean hotel and rooms. We enjoyed the onsen that was in the hotel. The bathrooms had individually wrapped toothbrushes and toothpaste that came in handy. We enjoyed our stay.

in general, good!

Comfy room size, good breakfast, friendly staff. Room carpet gathers dust at corners. I also found rubbish left by the previous guests. Worth the money for non peak days.

The location of Hotel Monterey Fukuoka is good. Just a few minutes walk you can reach the underground. There is a supermarket, Lawson, and a 7-Eleven nearby. You can walk to the Canal City in a walking distance. We booked a 4 people room which is spacious, tidy and clean. We have a wonderful experience with Hotel Monterey Fukuoka!

Hotel is very clean. My king room was quite huge for Japanese standards. As I was in a corner room in the top floor, I could even see the mountains from my room.
Hotel Onsen (Japanese bath) was nice as well with a steam sauna in the ladies bath

Near watanabedori station and 7/11 CVS for breakfast. Located btw tenjin and nakasu; 5-10 min by walk. Indoor public bathhouse is good for rest.

The onsen was very nice. The breakfast was excellent. Wanted to eat at the restaurant (for dinner) but it was a set menu and quite pricey so opted not to. I believe lunch in the restaurant was more or less a la carte but the hours were limited and we just weren’t around at lunch time. It looked good, though. The room was very comfortable. I really liked staying here.

Best Hotel in Fukuoka! Beautiful rooms, very spacious with fantastic floor to ceiling windows.
Classy and modern interior design. Bedroom is nicely separated from the washroom by a door and hallway. The toilet and bath/showers are in separate rooms and two sinks. Nice for family of four to get ready in the morning.
Walking distance to subway.
Would definitely stay here again.

Like breakfast and spacious room. Amenities quality is good. Service is good.

Firstly the size of the room is good for 3 persons. Even with 3 double beds, there was still a lot of space to accomodate 3 large suitcases. The location was good, near lots of eatarues and shopping malls. There was parking within the building and retrieval of the vehicle was quick and efficient. The only down side was the daily parking rate was a little on the high side at ¥1500 per day.

all good apart from vod as some western films could not be switched to English, nice to know which ones before buying prepaid card. apart from that clean, nice good service and breakfast was good.
