Stay at this Hotel was mediocre sadly because it was not the experience that was expected. Photos of the rooms were expanded, so room was smaller than expected. Also the balcony and room are right below a popular hangout and tourist spot, so there was always people and noise right below, so one couldn't sit in the balcony without people being able to see, which was the exact opposite experience I wanted with that room. Service was very nice, breakfast was as well, so my only issue was with the room that did not live up to expectation. I think the bare minimum would be to upgrade the windows in order to shield from the noise. Location of the property is excellent though.

pros:
beautiful views
Friendly staff who worked to sort out various issues we had
Good location to food and shops
Cons:
The Hotels.com listing misled us to believe the room we booked would have 2 queen beds. The hotel was able to add a twin bed to the room for us.
The shower was hard to use and sprayed water everywhere
A bit awkward going in and out since concierge had to unlock the gate for you each time
Didn’t feel like a ton of value for the expensive room rate

I was scammed by this hotel. I had booked a “2 queen bed, double room, for 2 people”. When I arrived they put me (a male) and my (male) friend in a room with just one bed. They told us that the hotel does not have rooms with 2 beds. They wanted us to buy a separate room. Then they told us they could “upgrade” us to a room with two single beds (by breaking down a king bed into 2 single beds) for an extra $30 dollars. Reluctantly we paid the $30 dollars for the room with 2 single beds. This was not our fault. This was an error of the hotel. I should not have had to pay the $30 dollars.

Amazingly situated building in a great area, right by cool restaurants, bars, and things you'll want to visit.
Fair warning: the local youths hang out on the steps below the hotel well into the night. So while they're mostly harmless and keep to themselves, you will hear them.

Place was beautiful old historic property, Carlos was extremely helpful and informative , property is a little hard to get to but worth it if that’s not an issue, right in the middle of bohemian culture and great views from hotel, enjoyed it

The hotel was in a vintage building filled with charming details. The location was excellent with many restaurants and shops within a five minute walk. The area has lots of street art and is close to an elevator stop. The staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended to anyone.
