The fire alarm went off had to evacuate from the 10th floor for what appeared to be a false alarm this was about 6:30 in the morning. Scared my boy he’s 7 he was shaking from the blaring alarm in our room. I can only assume this was a false alarm as the manager had never addressed the alarm or updated the guests. We asked for a late check out as it took a while to go back to sleep which they allowed until 12pm at 11:59am the house keeper was knocking we answered and she kept knocking.

Room was nice, clean. I think 4pm is a late check in. Lobby was very dirty. There was Barrel racing going on at the location. So lobby and elevators had hay and smelt like horse manure. We stayed on the 9th floor and our room was very clean but as soon as we stepped into the hallway all we could smell was the manure.

We were in Brandon for 2 days for a family funeral. The hotel was in good condition, the staff was friendly and the location is central. Nice water park there also.

We stayed overnight for a quick visit to Brandon. I upgraded to the King Suite for a little extra room and it was very spacious and clean. There is a full bath and a powder room off the bathroom which was a nice feature. We were overall happy with this hotel but it’s missing some amenities that you usually find at hotels in the price point. A few things to note:
If you plan to use the pull out sofa the blanket is very thin, so if you’re road tripping maybe bring your own. You’ll have to ask the front desk for the linens as they’re not in the room.
The bathrooms are very basic and could use an update. The water temperature in the shower didn’t get past warm in the evening and then in the morning it took quite a while to warm up but didn’t get hot. The toiletries are nice though, with a little loofah included for you to use.
The TVs are not smart TVs so you cannot log into your own streaming services like most hotels offer and the cable is BASIC.
None of the ice machines were working on floors 2,4 or 6 and I gave up trying after that. There is also no water bottle filling station avaiable to guests as far as I could tell.
I would book here again but wouldn’t upgrade to a suite unless you need the sleeping space. It wasn’t worth the extra money in my option as the TVs and Batrhoom are very basic. Clean and comfortable, a great choice to get a good nights rest along the road but don’t expect anything beyond basic.

Staff were fast, friendly and professional from the front desk to the restaurant
Even the staff member cleaning the parking lot was very friendly and assisted me with my vehicle.
When the staff are consistently positive it speaks to the culture.
I would definitely return next time I am in Brandon.

Hotel was okay overall . But not excellent

Pre-booked online a premium room. Go double chaged at check in and stuck in a stinky basic room with broken lights. When asked for clarificaten I was treated like I am a criminal that was trying to steal something from them. I have been staying in this hotel a few times a year and have noticed how it is being rund down. The rooms and beds smell the carpets are stained and the towels are old and worn out. The coffee maker and microwave are covered in filth.

Hotel was not in great shape. Too many people from refugees and such. We were there for family wedding and not all the people staying for free breakfast. A lot drunk people running around and banging at night and when we got up in morning there was food and garbage in the hall ways. Wouldn’t stay again

If check out is at 11 I don’t want to be bothered before my check out time. Twice house keeping came knocking, once at 10:15 and once at 10:30, if your turn around time is so short then manage your staff better. I shouldn’t feel harassed to leave my room early!!

Convenient location, nicely renovated room and super comfortable beds!! No continental breakfast but offered coupons for their restaurant and the food was very good!

Typically stay here once a year to golf in the surrounding areas. This year the guests in general seemed rowdier than usual. A fair bit of drinking, etc. Someone pulled the fire alarm at 4am and again at 5am. Not the hotel’s fault obviously, but extremely disruptive.
We enjoy the restaurants and lounge and the location.

The rooms were clean. Staff was great, but when it came to property management was very poor and first impressions was very poor. People were outside the front doors, smoking, despite the no smoking sign, not enforced, my clothes, now smell like smoke. Every time you come through the front door it’s like walking through a cloud of smoke might as well be in Las Vegas. The noise past quiet hours was not enforced. There was a have a fire alarm that was sounded at 4 AM and then at 5 AM. I know they have no control over it, but it ruined our stay. My kids are scared and don’t want to stay there anymore. The hotel is an OK location but very loud and windows do very little to keep the noise out. Couple, it’s a good place because of a bar across the street and some good amenities nearby family it’s a hit and miss. Put it this way with everything happening. My kids want to leave the first night. We were there for two nights Friday night and Saturday night. The pool was good to. I would recommend the management of the candidate and Brandon designate an area for people to smoke away from the entrance stores to their establishment. I was so tempted to ask for a refund. That’s how bad it was. This is my honest, not sugarcoated review. I’m sorry to say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at staying at a hotel.

Poorly maintained, police were there several times in the parking lot, Pool Slide was ONLY open on the weekend.

The first night the fire alarm was pulled by one of the drunks fighting in the hallway. Waited an hour outside for fire dept to clear the building. Just got back into bed and someone else pulled the fire alarm. Lack of security to handle the situation. Next night yelling , screaming and fighting again in hallway.

The hours of the restaurants on-site are terrible and inconvenient to people who work past 1pm. On the bright side, the property was kept very cold and the ac in the room worked great, which was refreshing during the awful heat wave outside

Nice room, large and spacious with microwave and fridge. Awesome air conditioning, lighting, and included everything one would need for a short stay. My only complaint would becthe elevator carpets were soiled with straw and smelled of cattle dung. Understandable given there was some Heford show happening, however guests should be asked to change footwear prior to returning to the main lobby.

The elevators and hallways smelled of cow dung there was traces of cow dung in the pool area and in the elevators. It was disgusting.
