Last week we stayed at Town Square Place in Chaska Minnesota. Expedia's listing of this facility is MISLEADING and borders on outright fraud. No family should ever stay there as it is closer to a halfway house for people that have issues with the courts or family service. There are NO amenities at all, and they happily put it in print and make you sign that you understand.
The odor on the third floor is a obnoxious, I can't tell if it's ethnic food or a chemical cook.
The general manager is the most incompassionate person I have met in my life. When my wife had a very embarrassing emergency/accident related to her Irratable Bowel Syndrome ((with D), the Manager was IRATE that she would use the bathroom in the main lobby....that are marked "employees only". IN THE MAIN LOBBY. the manager continued to berate us, called us rude and inconsiderate while my wife is crying and humiliated trying to do something with these soiled garments.
THIS PROPERTY HAS NO BUSINESS WITH RETAIL TRAVELERS!!!

This should not even be listed. It smells like sewerage and is infested with roaches and other bugs. This place was no where near worth the money I paid. The pull out bed was absolutely dangerous. I addressed the roach problem several times I was not offered a new room they kept claiming pest control was coming and they never came. My leg is broken and this was truly a terrible experience. In all my years of traveling I can honestly say I have never went through this.

Very unprofessional from the minute I stepped in the door. They told me they didn’t have my Expedia reservation and made me pay on site. I drop my stuff off in my room and went out for the evening. Upon returning there were cockroaches crawling all over my bed. I took a video and asked for a refund at the front desk. They told me it would take 3 to 5 days.

The staff was very nice and the room was clean and cozy. Its an older hotel but still in excellent condition. Go try it.

First of all they stole my truck.
They towed my Chevy Avalanche because they though it was unregistered. They didnt call me at my room to ask if it was not registered. The phone numbers to reach staff were unreachable. I called the police and they located my truck. The towing company that works for the motel did not ask local police if the truck was legal and stole my truck.
Expedia has done nothing for me eithe WELCOME TO CHASKA MINNESOTA r

This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life.
We arrived and were booked for 5 weeks. It was dirty and outdated from the get-go but decided to try and stay optimistic. Checked into our room and got settled. We were only there one day before my husband found 3 cockroaches in the bathroom and then in the area where we had our food and crock pot. My son was hysterical refusing Ron stay in the room.
When I spoke to the manager the next day she basically laughed at me telling me I was over reacting and it wasn’t that bad. I demanded a refund. Since I paid most on cash she tried to tell me she didn’t have cash on hand.
After talking to the regional manager I agreed to just let them refund my card on file but when she tried to do that it would. It let her because I pod most in cash. So she went into the office and got the cash. Even though she claimed they had no cash on site.
This play is dirty and unkept. They don’t provide any sort of breakfast options and there is very little security. One floor you can just walk right in.
Never again!

Dirty, dingy! Loud car noises all night long. Sheets on bed rough and itch your skin. My husband didn't sleep at all. People in halls talking loud, children crying. We decided to move to another other hotel the next day and were advised at desk no refund. They offered to move us up a floor. I said that is not going to change anything. It smells and things in room and out of room are not clean like like they sould be. Please take this off your list and give me my money back for 2 days I
didn't stay.

no coffee pot or plastic glasses in room. room looked like it was under renovation , mirror on floor not the wall, beds not aligned with headboards, off by 90 degrees, bath tub, had scum on side and looked like it had not been used lately, carpet was old and dirty. no food or coffee available. Very limited parking available.

Do you like the strong scent of marijuana in the lobby and hallways, damp carpets and pillows, bathtub drains that don't close and dry diarrhea crusties in the toilet? Then Room 217 is the room for you! Only $160 a night!

Roach infested and dirty food wrappers in and under furniture. Broken appliances and trim with exposed nails and splinters on doorsways, trim, and floor.

Nothing other than possible location
Absent staff, broken equipment, filthy
Can not recommend anything about it - needs so much work!

The front desk staff was incredibly overworked (not her fault). There was an overdose the first night of our stay, several police, ambulances, and fire trucks were present.

As an Expedia customer I don’t think you should be booking people at this property!! There were mouse traps in the front entrance and lobby, the elevator was filthy and the room was in no condition to be slept in!! We checked out within an hour after we ha checked in! There was no way we would stay there!!

I'm not a water pressure person, but water pressure was terrible. Possibly has softened water because it felt slippery and kinda hard to feel like you've washed off all the soap after washing hands. Staff was really nice. My microwave didn't work, which was particularly upsetting to me. I specifically made sure to get a hotel with fridge and microwave. They put in a work order for the microwave, but it was not fixed by the time I left. There was a communal microwave on another floor, which was dirty, so I ate my meals cold. Full fridge and freezer, which did work. No coffee or coffee machine in the room. Room looked neat, if outdated, but there was dog kibble and straw on the floor from a previous occupant, and the carpet was stained. Room had some repairs done, but not well done. My room was quiet, but my friend's room was not. No blackout curtains and the parking lot lights were very bright. It is challenging to find a decently priced hotel in the cities, so overall I'd say you get what you pay for. Just be aware that this is a no frills hotel.

Stayed here a couple years ago, awful but allot of construction going on…figured it would be improved by now. It was worse. Atmosphere, staff, and people “present” all rang of enormous sober living. Dirty, TV did not work, sketchy. Will NEVER stay here again, hell no.
Super8 a block away is 4-star compared to this dump. Sad, it looks like it WAS a nice hotel at one time. Amazing this place is even in business.

It was more of a low income extended stay. The room itself was not well maintained. The staff seemed to never be at the desk. I waited for almost 10 minutes to check in and then they had to check that the room was ready to be rented. Overall was unimpressed.

There was no iron or ironing board. There also were no hangers or a place to hang clothes. I have never encountered this when staying at a hotel. Also, most times there were no parking spaces available in the lot. They did their best to accommodate us by loaning us an iron that was in the office. We were there for a wedding, so not having a way to get the wrinkles out of our clothes after traveling was a major problem. It all worked out, but I would not recommend this facility or stay there again.

Did not receive the correct room. Front desk was not trained and disorganized. Not professional

After checking in. I did not like anything. The room had floor stains. It was 77° in the room when walked in. Good night get the air conditioner to work. Had to turn it on every few minutes to get a little air. Water in the shower was like sprinkles. The water did not drain. It was noisy with kids running up and down the hallway. People outside the window partying until midnight. Always were dirty elevator was dirty. The only part that seemed clean was the check-in area. Little kids running around I assume they were the helps daughters. Cuz I heard them call Mommy. Ask for help on the air conditioner and said it was on the wall by the bathroom. Could not get reception on the TV. They had a troubleshoot list that you had to fix it yourself. Found out the cables were not entered into the correct spots. Then I got that to work everything felt dirty hot. Could not get my money back so I slept in my clothes. Very hot. When checking out I told her the issues she just said thank you for telling us. I asked for a refund or a discount got no response. I think this is the first time I've used Expedia and it will be the last time I ever go to that hotel again. I asked a young couple in the elevator when I was leaving. If it was their first time staying here they said yes. I asked if they would stay again they said oh no no way. Not good. I'm still looking for a refund for a very horrible stay. I had to do my own troubleshooting on their property.

I have never been in a hotel that you had to sign multiple sheets of paper signifying that you understand the rules of the hotel. I assume they have had many problems in the past, but it didn't feel very welcoming. For instance: NO noise after 9PM. I understand being quiet, but NO NOISE?? LOL.
TV didn't work.
There is a kitchen with no equipment and a stove that you need special pans to operate.
Ceiling above shower is leaking.
Secondary lock on door didnt work.

Close proximity to our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately the neighboring hotel was not up to standards. Keys did work, TV/Cable not working, we were offered a different room. Although everything worked, the carpet was severely staines, yes they accept pets. They collect an excessive "deposit" of $100. We have never paid more than $20. Apparently the deposit is not used to clean the room when needed. Will not stay their in the future.

TownSquare Place was dirty and run down. Should've paid more attention to the ratings!

Got here they didn't have the room I had paid for. Sheets had crusty food on them. First they only changed the one sheet not the whole bedding. Had to ask them to change All the bedding.

Worst we have ever stayed at! No amenities. Pool and eating area closed. no coffee in room. Wood trim missing off doors and floors. panel missing off bottom of dishwasher, rips in carpet, screws sticking out of dresser, curtains falling off windows, furniture hard as rock. Cancelled after one night. Charge as much as nice motels. Manager has not called us back in almost a week.

Great location , cant wait for downtown construction to be finished so we can walk downtown

This hotel should not be on Hotels.com as it is not a Hotel. It is a place where people live temporarily. When we arrived in the evening there was no one at the front desk. Only open from 10 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. We called the number they provided after hours many times but no one answered. We finally found someone who worked there and they helped us to get checked in. The elevator was dirty and so was the hallway to our room. There were no sheets or pillows or blankets for the pullout couch. The tub had a red stain in it. We did not stay there as it was not a place where we felt comfortable or safe.

This property is not so much "suites" as it is small temporary housing apartments. The people here are not vacationers, they seem to be living there. So things are very worn-down, the public areas are dirty, and there is a lot of noise and people in the hallways. As of June 2023 the street out front of the property is under construction, so the parking was very limited and inconvenient.

Room was ok but the bathroom tub looked disgusting after a long flight I was exhausted and wanted a hot bath there was blood in there housekeeping said it was rust

Did not feel like a safe environment, elevator was sketchy, door handle didn’t work on the room we were given. Smelt of weed, and was not that clean.

For a smoke free facility- definitely was not. Hallway and cigarette butts and dog poop. Mold in bathroom, ceiling paint falling down. Very stark and dreary. No one ever around and you needed key card to enter the hotel. Website is so very incorrect- felt unsafe - very very nervous coming and going.

I arrived Sunday evening and no one was working the front desk. Called a number they had left and it just rang in a back office. Sat in the lobby till someone one finally came by to help. Key quit working and went to the front desk and again no one working. Internet on tv didn’t work, called front desk, no one was there, left messages and no one got back to me.

Not a great hotel to stay at due to offering vouchers for homeless. They need places to stay which is fine but there is shady things going on.

First three nights and last night there was a dog barking all night right next door. And there was no number to call for that issue. There was no cleaning services and I never received new towels or anything the bathroom drain had no plug had to use the one from the jacuzzi. There was a lot of work going on in the evenings and it just wasn’t a good experience.

When we first check into our 2 queen bed room, we had to leave to meet up with friends for dinner. When we left my daughter tried the door and was able to open the door without a key. Room was not secure. Was moved to a room with one king size bed and a pull out couch. We were told that this was the only room they had left. Came back to room after dinner to go to bed. Found a bug in our bed. Stains on the comforter as well as makeup foundation. Went down to desk and showed the video of the bug crawling on the bed. They were going to move us again. I immediately said no. I told them I have already been in two rooms and have had problems with both rooms. Still waiting on the refund.

Our stay has been great so far 😊. The staff are very friendly and it's quiet. Off the main road but it's not bad for noise. Our room is right on the main street side and it's not noisy.. We're staying untill the first of the year ☺️
