Don't do it the pictures are a lie. Shared bathrooms are on the second floor.

A sign was on the door stating “if you do not live here you cannot come in” and no answered calls or feedback. Hotel.com agent Judy cannot get a hold of them either. I just cancel the whole reservation for the two rooms. We were practically trying to get a hold of OYO staff to no avail for two hours
on the phone. It’s ok. It’s too embarrassing to post. I just want to let you know. Thank you anyways.

This can't be a motel. It feels like I'm in the Middle Ages. There's no comfort at all.

It was a cheap room to stay just I didn’t feel safe or clean

I didn't like anything !

The room was dirty! I asked the front desk for cleaning supplies. The windows were single pain plexiglass, which has NO SOUND BARRIER ! I heard everything outside all night ! NO air conditioning! Dripping water in the bathroom added to the noise ! I got about 3 hours of broken sleep ! The hotel should be condemned! ( literally !) I'm very disappointed !

Very inappropriate signs as decor in reception area. Room was total filth. I’ve never refused to stay anywhere before in my life. I believe this place is permanent housing for some. I personally would not take my shoes off, sit and most certainly not lay down in this place. Shocked that it was on Travelocity.

This is not a reputable business. It is clearly managed offsite with no regard for what is going on at the location. When we arrived we were informed that there was not a room for us (despite us having received a conformation email from OYO) and the man working the desk mentioned that he has had to explain this to multiple people that night. From what I can tell OYO just sent whoever owns this building a box of logo signs and doesn't care how they maintain the facilities as long as they get a cut. Even the lobby was disgusting. Tons of hand-written notes from the landlord threatening to evict tenants for miscellaneous transgressions. Yes, tenants. It seems to be an apartment building which rents out the rooms it can't sell as "hotel rooms." Believe the reviews on Google. I expected gross (I even brought a painter's sheet and my own sheets and pillows), but gross, un managed, and liars about their vacancy was farther than I expected. To top it off, Expedia doesn't even have a customer service number anymore so I can't request a refund from them either! IF YOU RESERVE THIS YOU ARE NOT TAKING A GAMBLE. IT IS CERTAIN THAT YOU WILL HAVE A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. TAKE HEED!

When we arrived to OYO HOTEL, we quickly noticed that the pictures do not resemble the actually place at all. The lobby was full of several handwritten notes with threatening messages, including one mentioning an individual named “Stev-O” who could enter your room at night. We felt completely unsafe and immediately decided to leave the property and find new accommodations.
Later, we read news and reports about this place and found disturbing information: The OYO chain doesn’t seem to officially recognize the hotel, suggesting its association with OYO is a façade. The place used to be called Holly Hotel and had the same complaints. The place is also reportedly uses as a shelter for the homeless and has been reported to not even comply with basic safety regulations to be a homeless shelter!
In line with our impression that the place was unsafe, we later found reviews in other platforms that “guests” are trapped overnight in the premises because the “staff” locks the doors at night with no way to open them. Additionally, we found reports by residents from Bradford of illegal activity, including crimes in the so-called hotel’s premises.
The worst part of this story is that Expedia simply stated the reservation was not refundable and that OYO had “declined to refund” our reservation. OYO apparently must accept the refund for Expedia to process it. This is clearly not a normal situation. Do not book with OYO.

The mattresses are stained, so is the carpet. The lock between adjoining rooms is broken and someone walked into my room unannounced. The toilet doesn’t work there’s no hot water and it looks like a crime scene. Roaches were a nice added touch

We knew the hotel didn't have great ratings, but we were having trouble finding lodgings for the eclipse. Our family is used to camping, and we thought "how bad could it really be?"
We would have been better off just sleeping in a park somewhere. Why?
1) The hotel didn't have beds. AT ALL. We slept on the floor, on sheets and blankets laid out. One of our three rooms had a mattress on the floor, but it was a twin (we had reserved a queen), it was brown, and it had no sheets. The other rooms had no mattresses.
2) There was no running water. The toilet was black and dry, and the tap didn't work.
3) If I hadn't gotten there when I did, they wouldn't have had a room for us at all. The people behind me in line had paid reservations and they were turned away. I feel terrible for them because there were literally no other hotels available the night before the eclipse.
I will say the staff guy was really sweet and so apologetic. He seemed like a deer in the headlights trying to tell all these people that their paid reservations didn't matter and they had no rooms, or beds.

They gave my room away. I drove 6 hours and had a reservation I was charged for by Expedia, and the hotel had given my room (and other people with reservations) rooms away

Cancelled my reservation before check-in. Desk attendant was nice, told me the hotel was also used to provide government subsidized housing to ex convicts on parole and otherwise incapable people. Place looked extremely dirty and in complete disrepair, so I'm actually glad that I didn't have to check into that place.

This old hotel is in terrible disrepair. It is now a flop house. It is probably also used as temporary space for mentally ill unhoused people. One was repetitively cursing at the top of his lungs most of the night. Minimal staff was unprepared for my arrival and did the bare minimum to put me in a room and provide bedding

The hotel had no room on my arrival. They found a key and showed me a room that had no bed. They found a recently vacated room , matress ripped and stained, room not made up (folded sheets on bed, no pillow or blankets nearby. Located in very seedy area, with hotel even seedier.

They did not have a room. Then gave a room with bed full of holes cockroaches everywhere not even clean bedsheets or even a pillow. Unsafe with lot of drug users and homeless people. No room had to find another hotel

This place was disgusting, we did not even start there, it's was so nasty, the bed was in the floor, no blankets no pillows bed bugs they just sprayed for, Broken old elevator we almost got stuck in, they showed us the room before getting keys glad they did. This was the worst and scary experience I've ever seen.

I reserved a two queen bed room. The first room offered had one single bed and one double bed in it... and broken window! I was then offered a room with the window intact,,, but only one bed. As I was alone travelling, I acceted that room. But no discount on the price was offered and that SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED!

It was essentially an abandoned building with zombies walking around, and by zombies I mean junkies. There's got to be better homeless shelters. They didn't have pillows, blankets, towels, TV, etc... It looks like it's never been cleaned. Apparently the salvation army sends homeless people there on vouchers and that's it's primary use. The fact this place is listed as a hotel is absolutely atrocious. I've stayed in some pretty bad places and this is by far the worst.

A rundown Place, 50$ is too much for this. But nice staff and helpful. Sink didn‘t flush, TV didn‘t work. You can‘t get back in without someone at the counter. The Owner should invest a little and make a nice Backpacker Hostel of it. The Building has a great substance and needs a renovation.

They waited till the last minute to inform me my room choice wasn't available. Then had no direct number to the hotel online anywhere. Their phone service would not answer the phone. So we had hotels.com cancel the booking. If they had communication skills, we might have settled the issue. Now I'll never know.

It was ok for it being a cheap place to stay.

Luckily we were allowed to see the actual room we would have stayed in. It was atrocious. Mold, bugs, dirty, reaked of smoke and decay. My date refused to stay and so will you most likely. Save yourself the hassle and pass. If the price seems to good to be true it's because it is. Run to anything else and you will be better off.

When I finally found the hotel, my heart sank as I took in the dilapidated surroundings. Everything about the area & building screams "FLOP HOUSE!!!" As I was frankly desperate for accommodations, I walked into the lobby anyway. Published check-in time is 3:00 pm. I arrived at about 3:40 AND MY ROOM HAD ALREADY BEEN GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE. The room I'd reserved had a full bath & 2 queen beds. The one I was offered in exchange had a single bed & a shared bathroom in the hall--Not ideal for my 91 y/o mother who was with me. I was also offered an additional night's stay for free, which was no help at all when I absolutely needed to leave promptly the next morning. Speaking w/a local gentleman later, he informed me that the "Holley" is, "the worst hotel in town." I certainly hope he was right; if there's a worse hotel in Bradford than the Holley, I shudder to think what it might be like.

This is a very comfy hotel. It feels like your staying in a hotel from a 100 years ago.
