I would never recommend to go to this hotel at the end of the start of the season. All staff was busy with closing the hotel, cleaning up, taking all stuff away for the Spa and massage was closed. Our whole experience was not as it should be. If I was the owner I would close my hotel and take the time to clean it up, without hotel guests!

This hotel is the worse. Arriving there was very difficult. The hotel is very far from everything and the road to get there is very bumpy and rocky. The staff were not welcoming. We were told that it is end of season and that they were closing the hotel after our last day. We saw them moving all furniture DURING our stay. The spa was not available although we paid for it and it is an amenity that is included in the price of the night. The breakfast was very limited and we had to order every morning. On our last morning we were told that they cannot bake so some stuff we wanted so we couldn't get them (because they're closing). The breakfast area had TOO many bees and we were very annoyed and disturbed to eat there and the staff did not care about our concerns. The pool bar was closed and we could not order anything on the pool. If we want something we have to go to the beach bar on the other side of the hotel. All of this was not communicated before arrival and they refused to refund us.

Great and quiet property, away from the crowds. Super nice outdoors, big and luxurious interiors. Really good breakfast.

We had the most beautiful 4 day stay at this family run hotel. I cannot say enough about the service and accommodations, it was all excellent!

I have just stayed one week with my daughter, what can I say the property is in a beautiful part of the island. The staff were all lovely and very efficient especially the manager who never stops but still manages to make you feel special along with his very special staff. Food was very good good, Marios the Chef was very attentive and creates wonderful food often offering local special dishes as well as the very good set menu.
We had a suite with a pool which was very big, the pool and view of the sea was wonderful. One of are favourite parts of the property was the beach bar and sea swimming deck for snorkelling. We hired a small car from the hotel for a couple of days as the property is very remote the only downside is the beach bar closes at 7pm it would have been nice to have a few drinks here in the evening this may change in high summer. Peligoni club is 10mins away for water sports, where you can get a day membership. Overall they made us feel very special and we will miss them, looking forward to going back soon.

Pleased with our stay.

Beautiful property, great room, views, ocean access. There is something strange with the management, they didn’t want you to leave the property, weren’t helpful with anything off site. Food was just food, when we asked about a deli, we were told there wasn’t one nearby; then rented a car and found a great deli a few minutes down the road. We decided it was best to make our own adventure/restaurant selections on our own. The staff seemed uncomfortable and on edge. We felt we were watched, unless there is a change in management, I wouldn’t recommend. A shame because it could be a great property.

The island is stunning and the water is unreal.
The management and owners of this property are difficult and lack experience. You will feel like you are taken advantage of for anything you do. It feels like you always need to be on the lookout to not be taken advantage of. The owners and family hang out there all day as if they are royal guests, it is a strange sight.

An excellent resort, staff at the beach bar and pool bar were excellent - great locations for an evening meal. The main restaurant is not air conditioned and open - sitting in the sun for breakfast is sometimes not great and lots of flies at night. Chill cabinets would be good for the door as the fresh fruit and cold meats were not so cold! There were regular power cuts (apparently due to heat) 4 out of our 7 mornings which messed up the air con and our room key stopped working everyday which was frustrating. Would definitely revisit, if only to get another gold buggy ride over the edge off the cliff down to the beach bar. Kids loved it.

I highly recommend this beautiful resort. The owners and the staff were very accommodating. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of delicious options. If you go to Zakynthos, this is the place to stay!

so Relaxing! - Great views, quiet location, amazing food and best of all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They really went out of their way to help us, including organising a birthday cake for our daughters birthday, which she said was 'the best birthday ever!'. We'll definitely be going back to Aliv Stone for another visit!

Among the first in this period all the staff was very hepful smiling attentive and of a great kindness .the hotel is located in a very quiet and relaxing area close (by car) to the most beautiful coves and places that make the réputation of the island, it’s the ideal place to stay. Large room with swimming pool a pleasure. The restaurant with the view on the sea offers its lot of cruisers every day. Breakfast was very varied and generous the restaurant was very good too tested several time. However one of the access road looks like a path wich is the most delicate part.
