New facility and clean. They need help with professional counter help. Got bill wrong and never got it exactly right but tired of asking. They use AI app to hit your phone to constantly (5 times one day) ask you to tip valet which I do in cash and really irritates me. Stop doing this.

Great location, lots of small local shops surrounding. Weather kept us in the Hotel. Food in the restaurant was excellent but was a little pricey!

Great location and overall nice property. Our room was average. Slightly dirty bathroom upon checking. No remote control and room phone to contact front desk was broken. After 30 min no one had addressed the issue and we had to go back to lobby and ask again. They finally gave us a remote from another room. The TV kept cutting in and out and freezing from satellite connection. Affected ability to watch college football games. Asked for manager to review our complaints and still haven’t heard from them.

Liked the location with lots of dining options within walking distance. Only complaint was the hallways and room were very humid. The AC worked but everything seemed moist and humid.

AC did not work well - room stayed very humid throughout my stay. Main bath/mirror vanity light did not work. Had to use the main room to do makeup.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - rooms are very spacious and clean and have a lovely design - the beds were fantastic and the pillows.... send us a pillow - they were amazing! Thank you Valley Hotel

On this short one-night stay, we were greeted with friendly service, hotel staff were very accommodating, room and bathroom were clean, and overall it was a comfortable, great stay. There are lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and this area was super clean and safe. Definitely recommend.

This hotel was fine. It all looked very nice upon first glance, but kind of felt like lipstick on a pig. Which seems harsh, and it was not terrible, but not great. It felt less clean than it should have, the service was fine, the bed was comfortable but the sheets were a little itchy, there was a stain on our carpet - not huge crazy things, but, the first glance appearance of it makes it seem like it should be 5 stars. The biggest problem I had was that the room service breakfast was the worst food I have ever had. It was inedible. And I don’t generally not eat my food, but I truly could not - plus there was a hair in my avocado toast. I got the avocado toast, a croissant and breakfast potatoes and I couldn’t eat more than one bite of anything, it was terrible. The croissant wasn’t even edible! Even the English muffin had some sort of horrible butter-like spread that tasted like chemicals. And the coffee was worse than old office coffee pot coffee. We would have had much better food if we had gone down the road to Waffle House. We even changed our dinner reservation from the hotel restaurant because I was worried it would be similarly bad. So I can’t speak to any other meals or the restaurant but I cannot stress enough how terrible the room service breakfast was - and of course that’s never a small price. I’m not sure I would recommend this hotel, and definitely would not for the price we paid, which was quite high.

Overall it was a very good stay. The only things that did not wow me were 1. The bathroom door is half glass--muted, but still a no for me. 2. There is no fan in the bathroom. 3. I could hear the room next door when someone was in the bathroom. 4. The TV had some screen issues. The staff was very friendly. We loved the fire pit outside the 2nd floor bar. I also liked that the front desk checked in with me once we checked in and then the next day to see how things were going for us I would stay here again.

They wouldn’t let me log the reservation with Hilton rewards due to using Expedia. and people in connecting room were so loud (no fault of the hotel .. perhaps I forgot the lack of a sound barrier in connecting rooms??. Luckily at their loudest, I was about to check out.)

Valley Hotel was beautiful! The location was perfect for our visit to Samford University. I loved all the restaurants and shopping that were walkable from the hotel. I will definitely stay again.

My room was not clean. There was a dirty sock on the floor, the ice bucket was full of water. The shower grout was moldy. I let the front desk know and they said they were sorry and they would come deep clean my room while I was out. I came back 5 hours later and no one had come to clean. I called back to the front desk and all they said was "I am so sorry". That is all. I expect a clean room at any hotel, but especially at this price.
