Nice room

The lady at the front desk was very kindly. She didn’t offer to keep our luggage. She only Saied that check in was 3pm.

The staff were unhelpful and didn’t care that we had been rained on and soaking wet to let us check in early so we sat for 2hrs in wet clothes while they held our luggage.
The power points were all over the room except for next to the beds where you would expect. Also the entire hotel smelt of cigarettes with no amenities.
Would not stay again!

Very nice hotel

It was a great hotel, it was cheap and very clean. The staff were patient and considerate. The fact that there was even an option for single person rooms was awesome. Good option for those of us who don't exactly make a lot. Sometimes, I walk past the building because the buildings are so packed together, it's noticeable enough to identify it though. It has the lettering right above the building.

Very expensive hotel! This cost 2 to 5 times more than my other Japan stays (I've booked 6 hotels), which makes the following issues even worse:
There's a TV in my room, but it's useless because you have to pay to watch anything
The advert says taxes included, but I still had to pay on arrival
There's a kettle in my room, but no coffee, water or tea. When I mentioned this to the receptionist she said I could drink the tap water from the bathroom, which is incredibly unhygienic and unhealthy
When I arrived I waited 10 minutes in an empty reception for staff
As I had arrived early, I asked to store my luggage there, but was told I could just leave it in the unmanned lobby. In other words, "we don't care"
No one on desk when arrived. Waited 10 mins
Considering the cost, it amazes me that there is no breakfast options
There is no recycling bin in the room
Finally, the location on the Expedia map is wrong. It is a 30 minute walk to the Imperial palace, not 10 like the advert states. It is 1.5km from the location provided by Expedia
Overall, very unimpressed

Nice and great location

Great for the price; luxury room is spacious with kitchenette and washing machine with dryer features. Easy access for transportation and stores.

Overall good experience except the kitchen has a strong smell of mold.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke.

One thing wasn’t expected was that they charged me another tax of 1200 yen when I arrived even though I have paid online already. Wasn’t too sure what the tax was for, but paid it anyway as it was mandatory. In general, everything was ok. The tables in the room were a bit dusty. Room facilities were adequate, there was a small kitchen with fridge, microwave, washing machine, a sink and an portable electric stove (though not many people would use it). The bathroom is normal with basic necessities. There was a sofa in the room but the TV doesn’t operate as there was no signal.

Arrived early at hotel but did not allow us to leave luggage. The carpet is dirty. The bed covers have stain.
