Excellent hotel, everything very good, I totally recommend it

Area around the hotel still under construction, and a slightly annoying shower head other than that, it’s honestly excellent the staff are absolutely fantastic and the rooms are incredible

I hate leaving bad reviews but i feel like it’s necessary. We arrived and the lady at the front desk told me my room wasnt paid for and that i owed an additional $300 which was untrue. She ended up not charging that, i paid the deposit for incidentals. The room itself was awful. I do think the other rooms might be better but dont book the 2 bed. The sheets had stains, alot of areas were dirty. Everytime you turn the shower on the bathroom floor floods, this was our last straw. The upstairs pool area does not have sun loungers as described either. Our towels also had stains as well or looked used. The man at the front desk was nice but did refuse our refund. We left early after 1 night and had a much better experience. I wouldnt recommend this place AT ALL. Also the area is a TRASH DUMP. The view from our room was bags and bags of trash.

The hotel is okay, and the surrounding areas are really dirty (a couple of lots next to the hotel are full of trash ♻️ recycle ) I don’t recommend it to anyone who wants to relax unless you like to relax in the middle of the trash field.

Lovely hotel and very walkable to downtown Tulum and the main area of La Valeta. The receptionists are super kind and helpful with any needs or food recommendations. I really enjoyed my stay here and I highly recommend!!

Really cute place, great location and value for your money. Two things though - when it rained the water came in through our door. They came and cleaned it up, but hopefully that is remedied in the future. Second thing - one of the front desk staff was not detailed oriented and gave my refund for the security deposit to the wrong card. I caught it, but just look out for potential mistakes like that.

My stay here was outstanding. The rooms are great and the staff is very attentive and nice. I showed up too early for me reservation and they went out the way to get me in my room at that time and not have to wait. I was also setup with other necessities like transportation and car rentals without asking. They sent me everything I needed via WhatsApp and I was off.
Thank You again Eterna Tulum. I will definitely use your services in the future.

Pros: super clean, new. Very friendly staff. Martha was incredible and so accommodating. She had the best tips for how to get around and which beach clubs offered the best deals. Also there are a couple of good coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance plus the Jungle Gym if you want to get a good workout while on vacation.
Cons: it's a little far from the beach. You either have to pay a pricey taxi or ride a bike. (It took me 45 minutes to get to the the zona hotelera, and I consider myself in fairly good shape.)

Nice stay in Eterna. It was a beautiful hotel but the location is a bit far from the centro and the only issue is that the street has no lamp posts so it gets really dark at night going back.
We stayed at their deluxe room (ground floor) and it was really pleasant, however, the pressure from the shower is a bit weak. The room is spacious and has a small kitchenette which is a plus.
Overall, our stay was good. Their staff are amazing and helpful, esp in giving reco. They also have a water station so you can refill your tumblers before heading out.

Hotel was great, clean, and spacious for what we needed. The pool in our room and rooftop pool were nice. The architecture and design of the hotel were visually appealing. The roads around the hotel are rough, but walking to the main avenue was easy.

Amazing boutique hotel tucked away in Tulum! Its a very small community, but the staff was very attentive and caring.

Upon arrival I was greeted by Marta, who was very sweet and kind. She also helped me with my luggage up to the 3rd floor!
Eterna Tulum was definitely a hidden gem~ Just beautiful! I stayed in the suite with roof top lounge pool! It was perfect and then some! The breakfast was around the corner which was delicious; cute small spot! The entire staff~( I didn’t get their :( names) was amazing during my 6 day solo adventure stay and very helpful with suggestions and recommendations!
They also had bikes to rent; which I highly recommend… as it makes getting around a bit easier if you’re not renting a car or wanting to save $$$ on taxi rides for longer distances. Because of the location, it gets pretty dark~ Very little street lights… so make sure you have a flashlight or a bike light with you, I just used my phone’s flashlight.
If you’re looking for a place to stay that not too far from the main street of Tulum..but close enough to walk or bike to~ this is the one!
Thank you again, Marta and staff at Eterna Tulum for the amazing and wonderful hospitality! I will definitely come back to stay!

I had an absolutely amazing time at Eterna Tulum, exceeded my expectations. Extremely helpful staff, especially Marta. Very accomodating, I absolutely loved the suite with the private rooftop pool. I plan to stay here again during my next trip to Tulum

Hotel was amazing and exactly as pictured! Was very easy to find using Google Maps.
One of the greatest parts of the stay was the free breakfast across the road at Reci Proco. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the owner was so sweet. He played great music, made fresh juices, and had delicious coffee. We ended up bringing home two bags of coffee. The fact that this breakfast experience was included in the hotel stay was amazing. We even went there for natural wines, and mezcal cocktails multiple nights! Reci Proco also had a market inside with 5 gallon waters, fruit, bottles of wine, rice, etc.
Hotel staff was incredibly helpful! We traded in our towels for fresh ones halfway through our stay free of charge. There is a water jug in the lobby that was always full for drinking water for guests. Someone was always sitting at the front desk (including an overnight security guard), so we were never worried about leaving our bikes or scooters in front of the hotel. Through WhatsApp they coordinated taxis, tours, bike, and scooter rentals which was super helpful. We even got pulled over by the police in a routine traffic stop and I called the hotel to translate. Marta took over and handled the communication with the police officer and he gave us a fist bump and had us on our way. (Thank you again!!!)
Location is close to another market, gypsea market which is overpriced, but had everything we needed for some snacks and it was nice to have a larger market near by.
