What I loved about Terrestre is how it pushes you into relaxation mode, its surrounded in nature yet right on the beach, relaxing small walks through the gardens forces you to relax and slow down. it is away from town so at first this seems like an inconvenience but it turns out to be a huge bonus because you really feel like just taking it easy, spending time at the quiet private beach and eating the beautiful food that was included for us. We stayed 2 nights in La Punta area and then 5 days at Terrestre and will definitely be back to Terrestre, of course there are things that seem like inconveniences like the lack of Air con - but the amazing concrete insulated abodes with thoughtful architectural design by 'Kallach' means it is hardly missed. Also I strongly suggest trying a tasting board at the mezcal bar next door 'Cobarde', Muchas Gracias!!

Our stay at Hotel Terrestre was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt enveloped in a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The staff was warm and accommodating, making us feel welcome and forging deep connections with us by the end of our stay.
While it can get quite hot at the hotel, the laid-back ambiance compensates for any perceived lack of glamour. The site's stunning design surpassed our expectations, and the attention to detail was remarkable.
The food, service, and restaurant were exceptional, with every dish we tried eliciting a genuine "wow" response. Even after dining at Michelin-starred restaurants in Mexico City, we found ourselves continually reminiscing about the exquisite cuisine at Hotel Terrestre.
The rooms were undoubtedly the most memorable aspect of our stay, with each one featuring its own private bathing pool. The occasional critter is to be expected in this natural setting, but a bug net over the bed would have been an added comfort. Staff should also inform guests that keeping the shutters open at night allows the room to stay cooler night.
The hotel had preserved most of the existing landscaping on the property. The plumeria trees throughout felt magical.
In summary, our experience at Hotel Terrestre was unparalleled and otherworldly. We would love to return to this exceptional oasis and relive our unforgettable stay.

Unfortunately there was construction all three days of our stay. All we heard was the gridding of stone in the beautiful surroundings so didn’t enjoy the natural
Sounds of nature nor where able to disconnect.
Also, no AC and June was too hot for no AC. The fan in the room was not powerful enough. Lots of bugs. Cool concept of open air rooms but heat and bugs and no AC defeated that purpose. Staff was great.
We also got super sick from a fish we ate at dinner.
