Everything about the Intrepid is great! Staff were very helpful - I'd booked incorrectly, but they were very helpful and sorted everything out for us. The foyer is decorated in a dark period style. There was a lively bar at the back which had craft beer and decent wines. The bedroom was huge - decorated in dark warehouse style - I loved it. The croissants for breakfast were delicious, and we had some of the lovely snacks and soft drinks. Cuba street starts at the corner of the block and we tried a few restaurants along there - all delicious. Te papa museum is a 10 min walk.

LOVED my short stay here. Room and facilities were perfect, chique and homely. Loved all of the products available in the room and the ability to do my laundry which was a relief after travelling around. So close to many great food and entertainment options. Will definitely be back!

Such a cool property, the stuff was super friendly and checked on us several times a day. They brought us a treat every afternoon. The coffee and croissants and coffee in the mornings were a perfect start to our day. The location couldn’t have been better.

It’s quite tricky to find the hotel as it’s unassuming from the front with a small sign. It is stunning as soon as you enter. The interior is very stylish and the elevator is so cool. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was amazing; quite dark but very stylish. We loved the bathroom and the bed was so comfy. It’s in a great place - not too far from the airport and surrounded by great shops, restaurants and cafes.

Terrific stay at the Intrepid hotel in Wellington! The staff were very friendly and the decor of the hotel and rooms was great! Unfortunately the bar was closed for the holidays so we didn't get to experience that bit of the hotel, but perhaps next time. Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Wellington and would definitely stay here again.

The Intrepid is so unique and a lovely change from other hotels. They had a lovely bottle of Prosecco on arrival for us to celebrate the start of our honeymoon which was a beautiful and generous touch. We missed the previous little treats such as pastries being delivered to your door and the coffee ran out both mornings we were there, but there was more in the lobby (you just had to get dressed to go down!) We loved our stay and it was such a pleasure to be back. Thanks so much to the team for making our stay so special

The attention to detail and making you feel welcome was amazing. Loved being able to step out in Cuba st and the the room at the top floor was very quiet. Loved the lighting and decor, but the weird grey panel wall and TV stuck on the wall on one side of the suite was odd.
