Beautiful and spacious, fully stocked log home nestled in a wooded landscape and overlooking Petenwell Lake. Eight miles from Sand Valley and Arrowhead Golf Courses. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets from the large screened porch, complete with a wood-burning stove or from the outside seating area complete with Adirondack chairs, fire table and a Weber gas grill. Walk the wooded trail behind the house which overlooks the Lake. Make smores at the fire pit or play bags in the front yard. Lake access and boat launch are just a short three minute walk on a scenic trail. Play ping pong, darts or work on your putt on the putting green in the game room, which also features an 86" T.V. with a power reclining sofa. Create memories playing board or card games, working a puzzle or just relax and read a book in the loft. If you want to burn off some stress, use the treadmill, agility ball or yoga mats in the exercise area. Start your day enjoying a cup of coffee or tea from the fully stocked coffee bar. Miles of ATV trails are minutes away or if you don't have your own, give it a try at the nearby ATV rental and park. Book a fishing charter or rent a pontoon boat. Mini golf is 15 minutes away or take a day trip to the water park capitol of the world- The Wisconsin Dells or Woodside Sports Complex, both only a 45 minute drive.

Most relaxing home we've ever vacationed in! From the cozy blankets in each room to the huge bean bag in the loft, it was all great! The home was very clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. Great brewery nearby too.

The house was great for our family. Lots of room, solid walls and floor, so even if someone was sleeping late, others could converse, etc. Lots to do if it rains. Just about everything a person could need was supplied. The only down-side is the lack of direct lake access. We knew that going in, so not a big deal.

We had a wonderful stay at this property for a family holiday get together! Really impressed by how clean & well stocked the property was for our stay. And the lake view - wow!! Can’t beat that view. Thank you for the stay - look forward to visiting again some time.

We had a great fall getaway at the cabin. My family of five and my father and mother in law enjoyed 4 nights there. What I liked the most was the feeling that everything was there for our hospitality. The coffee the snacks, the blankets, fire starters and wood. I have stayed at several cabins and this felt the most equipped for our stay. My mother in law commented on how it was the most complete kitchen as far as utensils and cooking pans etc. response time was quick on questions and we enjoyed a couple of the local supper clubs. Thank you for the experience!

Cabin was super clean. Very comfortable beds. Owners thought of everything you could need and didn’t skimp on anything. Would definitely stay again. But the remoteness means anything is a good 30 min away.

Our party of 6 needed some space to relax and unwind. The house was fully loaded with EVERYTHING we needed. The house was super clean. Its VERY far from amenities so bring what you need before you get there. We enjoyed ourselves and the lake views are AMAZING!

Home is beautiful, well stocked and nicely decorated. Owners are prompt with communication! We especially enjoyed walking on the trails behind the property, comfortable furniture and breathtaking views! Highly recommend!!

Our family ranging from a 6m old to an 85 yrs old had a great time at the cabin. The lake house is one of the most well-stocked rental property we've been to. Beautifully decorated, spacious and in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic lake view. We spent a good part of the day just sitting in the Adirondack chairs taking in the lake view and sound of the forest. My teens loved the basemnet and we all took turns at the ping pong table. The game room was a hit as well. The house does not have an immediate lake access but a short walk brings you to the pier that's great for fishing. There's a nice beach about 8 min drive. I'd recommend bringing all provisions to the house as there are no shops or restaurants in the close proximity to the house. We did find a nice butcher shop in Rome and the restaurant at the Sand valley club was pretty good. Overall this was a much needed get away and family time. Thank you!!

We spent a little over a week at this beautiful home with friends. The property is incredibly clean and welcoming! The owners were quick to respond to any questions and went above and beyond with a large welcome basket full of snacks! We enjoyed the many outdoor areas, the screened in porch, and the guys in our group got to relive their 20's with some games of Golden Tee. For our annual lake trip we always stay at a property that has a dock/slip available for renters. We understood that to be the case with this property but it wasn't quite true. There is technically a set of slips for the properties in the neighborhood association but due to issues with renters at other properties it is blocked off and has tons of signs indicating that no renters are allowed. It sounds like this isn't enforceable but it made us feel unwelcome. And, as it turned out the slips are only for day use so we couldn't have left our rental boat there for the week even if we were comfortable doing so.This resulted in us having to rent a slip at the nearby park, pay for access to the park and required a drive any time we wanted to use the boat. It was not an ideal setup for our group. Because there is not immediate water access at the property and no slip, anytime we wanted to use the lake we had to drive somewhere. In summary, the house is stunning and a wonderful place to relax by water but it requires a bit of work to use the water. I would highly recommend as long as you know about access.

Great getaway for a week! Close enough we could travel back and forth to the Dells, but far away enough that we were secluded and could relax away from all the people. Great lake to go swimming on for the kids, boat rentals available. Highly suggest!

We had a wonderful stay with great support and comfort. Our favorite room is the screened porch with cozy leather couches and perfect sized recliner. The games and layout of the home are perfect for fun and relaxation. The lake breeze and woodsy feel are inviting. Thank you, we hope to visit soon!

Our family enjoyed a peaceful stay at this beautifully decorated home. The dining room was the perfect place to grab a book and enjoy the beautiful lake views. The hosts were amazing to communicate with and ensured no detail was missed in furnishing the home. We also enjoyed time around the fire pit and walking the path along the lake. A true gem!

Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. It was a perfect place for our fiber artist retreat. The place was clean and well stocked and had many things you don’t normally find in a rental. We would love to stay again.

The house is absolutely gorgeous. It is huge. It is in a peaceful location. We saw lots of deer and turkeys. It wasn't a far drive to get to Wisconsin Rapids or Tomah for dinner or shopping. We stayed at the cabin and went to Cranberry Fest. It was about a 50 minute drive, but it wasn't bad. Plenty of sleeping areas for the 5 of us and it was nice having 3 bathrooms. Definitely would stay here again.

Perfect place for our families to meet up and spend a few days together. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. We spent time on a pontoon we rented, 4 wheelers we brought with us, watched movies, cooked on the Blackstone, made smores by the bonfire, played cards at the amazing dining table, told old family stories and had a lot of laughs. Just what we all needed.

Our stay was spectacular. The home was equipped with all the necessary things for a comfortable family stay. The basement was amazing and kept kids entertained for hours (we even had a family ping pong tournament). The views were great, the bonfires were tranquil, and the sun room was the perfect quiet place for adult conversations and coffee while kids played ping pong. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Perfect spot for family fun! 5-10 min to Sand Valley. Board games, fire pit, lake, game room.... Couldn't ask for anything more! I was traveling with my 5 kids, ages 17-1 and ALL enjoyed!
