About this house rental

This lovely cottage is tucked away yet only minutes from the boat ramp at Holmes Creek, a short drive from downtown Smithville, close to restaurants.
The cottage itself has a very comfortable queen bed in the main bedroom, another bedroom with twin bunk beds for the kids, and a bonus loft with a super comfortable queen mattress and a smart television. The kitchen is all new with everything you need even for a holiday meal. The cozy living room has a 50" smart television. The screened in porch has a 50" smart television as well. Outside we have a fire pit, perfect for winding down after a day at the lake.
We also have a lighted covered carport big enough for a couple of cars or a boat trailer.

Our level of interaction is up to you, we're only a message or call away if you need us. Otherwise we'll try to leave you to enjoy your stay.

Super cute and cozy! The neighbors were really sweet too and invited us over for fireworks. The owner was fast to respond to our needs and we will for sure be booking again.

The house was so cute and relaxing. Loved that the kitchen was well furnished. The property owners are just a quick phone call away and they answer requests within minutes. Things they can improve on is maybe putting something to hang clothes on in the 2 bedrooms on main floor. , and a fly swatter outside and I wish I had access to a vacuum to sweep the floor rugs. I think anyone who stays here will enjoy this cozy home.

This home will work for young people that will be out of the house most of the time. It’s NOT for older ones who wish to stay in while on vacation! The front porch and screened in side porch are just a few steps away from the street! And an elbows’ turn to a main thoroughfare. No privacy anywhere!!! We had to keep all shades drawn which made for a dark house. There are no closets or drawers to put away clothes or store luggage. Beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable. The kitchen was the best part of the house. Had everything one needs to cook a decent meal. However the small table and benches were uncomfortable and the head space and handrail leading upstairs Is difficult to maneuver. Very small small bedrooms too.

House was cute and very functional for our family of 4. The screened in porch area was a nice bonus, and our dog loved hanging out there in the evenings and mornings. If you have a boat, it's very tricky getting down the steep road and making that sharp turn. Took us a few trys to work that out. We really enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the extra ice bags left in the freezer. Came in handy for a day out on the boat, and saved us a trip to the store. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was just so perfect in every way. It was clean and comfortable. Prepare to wear a t shirt and shorts if you are staying in the top bunk. It gets got off the heat is on for lower floor. But this was minor it was fun to be centrally located to major TN cities like Knoxville and Nashville and be back cooking and hanging out in this awesome space in the evenings. Thanks for thinking of everything!! Want to return soon!!

We love this place! The owners are very nice. We were a little early so while driving by I called to ask if we could check in a little early. She was so nice and told us go ahead while thanking her my call dropped. 8 hours is a long drive. The house was so clean and cozy and the fireplace was nice a warm when entering. Everything is stocked and supplied. We like this house so much that we will be returning soon and often. I'm a vacation specialist and cleaning specialist and I've already recommended this house and the area to family and friends.

Definitely coming back! Here in Tennessee waiting on our first grandchild to be born. Started feeling home sick and missed my husband. He drove down from Michigan and we we couldn't have found a better place. Although it rained most of the weekend we love our stay and want to make plans to stay again and go hiking and Kayaking.

This was a perfect getaway for me and my husband ( and our pup, Beaux). The property was very clean and comfortable. It was close to (25-30 min) various activities. Owners were great too!! I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to unwind and relax!

Spent a very relaxing weekend in this quaint little cottage. The owners have done a very nice job of updating the cottage, including a modern kitchen and new appliances, and with contemporary touches throughout, while maintaining the “cozy cottage” feel. It is impeccably clean, with new paint and new laminate flooring, and new carpet in the loft. The only small caveat is there are no closets except for the owners closet, however, for a relaxing casual stay, who really needs them? I might suggest a little more user friendly entry lock, as we had difficulty getting in until contacting the owner who was able to unlock it remotely. Also perhaps a small cocktail table between the 2 chairs in the living area for coffee, wine or whatever, would be a nice touch. Phone service can be spotty unless connected to the provided internet, but then that allows one to really “disconnect “ if they want to. All in all very pleased.
