Everything we could have hoped for. We enjoyed alot of fun, family time and our trips into Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge were close enough. Excellent week.

The property owners were proactive in communcation about accessing the house and answered all questions quickly. The cabin was as shown in the pictures and included plenty of supplies for us to cook and do laundry. The porch was very peaceful, especially with the hot tub. Close enough to Gatlinburg to drive there for activities, but far enough that there is minimal traffic and it is peaceful. Would highly recommend

Property and house were great! So peaceful and the owner kept in communication throughout the stay. Our son loved the added touch of the nugget ice machine :)

The cabin was beautiful and away from the busy tourist area which was a plus. Views were beautiful. The hot tub was a great spot to enjoy these views. And with the fully stocked kitchen it made spending and making Thanksgiving dinner so much easier. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone!

The house is as advertised, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the private setting, coffee bar and ice machine. The beds were comfortable and the big living room tv was great. We usually hike a lot while visiting the area but this trip we spent more time relaxing at the house. It really felt like home!

About 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle, this cabin was a great getaway. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was awesome and the ice maker/coffee bar was a nice feature. Communication with Sherry was quick. Enjoyed our stay.

We loved this cabin so much! We felt right at home there and even wished it was ours. It's a ways away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but it was worth the drive. We hope to come back.

Property is exactly as shown. Everything you might need and dream communication with the owner. We pushed hard to enjoy everything in the area and beyond (Asheville, NC & Nsshville), but kept saying we could have just stayed in the cabin and have had a perfect time just staying there and venturing only in Cosby. We miss it so much.

We enjoyed our stay at this awesome cabin! Ms. Sherry was so easy to communicate with and made sure we were comfortable from start to end. The detail that she has put into making sure all of your needs are covered is amazing. It truly felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs every evening! The kitchen has everything you need to cook. And the privacy was amazing!! We will absolutely rent here again!

The cabin was overall was great, the location put us close to town without being in town and provided a good deal of privacy. The hot tub was definitely a plus after a long day taking the kids to Dollywood. I really liked the countertop ice maker, think Sonic drink ice, and the complimentary coffee bar was appreciated. The price was among the lowest available in the area while still being very clean, spacious, and the furniture was very nice. Did not see any bugs anywhere. Mrs. Sherry, the owner, was extremely helpful, accommodating, and super friendly and I appreciate her allowing us to use her cabin!

This cabin is exactly as pictured! It is so worth it, cleanliness, accessibility, comfortable, beautiful, had everything we needed (minus a tea pitcher) . But that was not a big deal we improvised. If you like to read there were books placed in various areas. My granddaughter who loves Dolly Parton absolutely loved the Dolly books. All the beds were very comfortable. So much space. Keurig with different coffee(no decaf, it's ok I bought some). The veiw was gorgeous! We have stayed in other places and I must say Sherry goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable while staying in her cabin. We loved the Christmas decor. My grandbaby loved the Christmas tree with all the owls. I could go on and on, we had the best time. We are hoping to stay again, and would definitely recommend.

We immediately felt at home here and our hosts had EVERYTHING we could think we might need except food. (Although they did provide coffee Kcups and sweetener)
The hot tub and fireplace in living room were great ways to end our day. The rocking chairs on porch were our spots for coffee and later for beers. We even did our morning run up and down the long driveway. Was a great vacation and the cabin helped us with our goal which was to decompress. Thanks again!

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. As we went through this beautiful cabin, we realized that the owners 'thought of everything' we could possibly need. My daughter took my grandson to "Beyond the Lens" and to a place called "The Island", both great places in Pigeon Forge. My and my wife visited the Titanic museum and Dollywood. The prices were reasonable considering the current economy. You can't go wrong renting this place. This was one of the greatest vacations we've experienced.

Peaceful Getaway
Myself, my wife, and 3 kids,13, 10, and 5 rented the Mystical Mountain Lodge. We absolutely love the Smoky Mountains. We had never been to Cosby before. We usually stay in Gatlinburg. Cosby is beautiful, small town quaint, with the absolute best homestyle cooking restaurants. We have done many of the attractions over the years and have enjoyed all. This trip was just to relax and enjoy nature and the mountain air and that is why we chose this place. We sat on the porch and tried to identify all of the birds by sound or sight. Sherry has Tennessee bird books here and binoculars, so it was fun for the kids too. We rode around during the day through the mountains and stopped at a few of the local shops, and then when we returned at night we all sat around the dining table and played games. It was a great, relaxing, fun, family recharge. Thanks for sharing your beautiful piece of Smoky Mountain paradise with us. We will definitely see you again.

Mystical Mountain Lodge~. It should have been name "Magical" because that is exactly what it was!
My family and I, on the spur of the moment decided we wanted to spend a few days in the mountains. After searching VRBO we came across a brand new property= no reviews. I like to try new places and so we booked the Mystical Mountain Lodge.
I will tell you all of the positives first and then I will list the negatives.
After we left the main road, Cosby Highway I believe it was, and let me mention I was expecting some not so good roads. That one is all newly paved and marked, and then off onto Lime Stone Rd and up to Mountain Creek Way. The gravel road was good, and the short drive to the cabin was very entertaining. We saw an assortment of birds, and squirrels, and a small hawk., and then we came to the small bridge across the Cosby Creek. We had to stop the car and jump out and take a look and a few photos. What a sweet area this is!!! And then on up to Mystical Mountain. There were signs, and we noticed later that evening when coming back from dinner, that those signs reflect at night, so easy navigation back to the cabin, even after dark.
When we pulled up to the cabin? I was expecting a so-so cabin. This place is a beautiful home, and all lit up for us. So welcoming!!!.
Very well equipped for a weekend or a week long stay. I suppose, if you asked each of my family members you would get a different answer about what their favorite part of Mystical Mountain was. Mine= the Keurig with all of the coffee offerings and the rocking chairs on the front porch. Each evening when we returned from our "out and about" adventures, my husband and I would make a cup of coffee and sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch and watch and listen. It is a different world there from the busy lives we lead everyday. And of course, the kids sprawled out on the couch and watched t.v.
We ate at Janice's Diner just down from the cabin, about 2 miles, and then there is Carvers Orchard Restaurant~ and farm market just 1 1/2 miles, both offer incredible home cooking. Just a tip= at Janice's... eat the cake, if you can decide what flavor!
We couldn't possibly do everything that is offered in this area during our few days. We will be back, and it will be for longer. We have already decided to spend our 10 day vacation here. Now that we have been here once, it will be like coming home when we return.
Oh, yeah....this is the "negative" that I said I would list= We have to leave!!!!!!
Thanks Sherry, We will be back!
