We loved many things about this property. It was right off the main highway, so no mountain road driving to get in and out. Scott was very responsive in making sure we had a good stay. Lots of space for dogs to run and a beautiful view. The only con: we were there with temps in the 30’s and the house was very chilly. There are plenty of blankets and space heaters, but we couldn’t leave small dogs long. Would love to visit again in warmer weather!

Easy to get to - not scary. Close to nice restaurants. Beautiful view of a mountain from the deck and from the kitchen table while drinking your morning coffee. Deck is nice with a small fire pit. 2 Bedrooms & 2 Baths set-up is best for 2 couples or adults. Even for one couple it is a nice secluded get away that is close to town and fun activities. Price is close to the same as the price of a motel. I will be going back for sure.

The house is in an ideal location to Clayton’s downtown and a short drive to vineyards and Tallulah Gorge. It isn’t fancy, but we didn’t need fancy. We needed clean, safe, convenient, easy access, pet-friendly. It was all of that. We accidentally locked ourselves out Sunday morning and Scott was very helpful getting us back in. We do plan to return for more Clayton visits, and we would stay here again.

It was a great place between black rock mountain and Tallulah Gorge. I had business at both state parks and made a fun time of it. The view where we drank some adult beverages and morning coffee on the porch is amazing!

Enjoyed our stay but it is VERY loud here. You can hear every single vehicle coming through the main section of town. Also there is a family of critters living under this house. They get very active at night and are loud when they come and go.
