About this cabin rental

This cabin has great year-round access and is located on the west side of McCall, close to the lake, beaches, trails, parks, great views and restaurants.  Downtown McCall is just minutes away.  This brand new cabin is clean and comfortable and you'll love having your own private, hot tub in the back yard and an outdoor fire pit, especially on a starry summer night. The location, the views, and the ambiance are just icing on the cake. With the quiet surroundings and proximity to all McCall offers (shops, Little Ski Hill, Brundage Ski Resort and Bear Basin Connector Path, etc.), you'll love your stay!

Tucked into a quiet neighborhood, just on the outskirts of McCall, you'll find Rio Vista Retreat. Convenient to all of the outdoor fun McCall has to offer. North or South, you’re just minutes from Payette Lake and Payette River put-ins and downtown McCall. You’ll find fine dining at Shore Lodge or the more casual venues of Pueblo Lindo, Blue Moose Pizza and the Alpine Pantry less than 5 minutes from the front door. A short distance down the road and you’re at the trailhead to the Bear Basin, Nordic center system and just 11 miles further to the Brundage Mtn. ski lifts. Also note the Ponderosa State Park Nordic and Snowshoe trails are just minutes away.

Spacious yet perfect for an intimate gathering of family and friends in the great room, this 3 bedroom with a loft cabin comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. 

Lounge in the comfort of the great room and enjoy the ambiance of the warm propane stove. This home has ductless heating in various zones to take off that extra chill during winter months. Ceiling fans and ductless cooling keep things comfortable while you’re out playing all day during the summer. Wi-Fi throughout the cabin keeps you connected and smart TV in the living room.

Table dining for 8 and counter seating for several more keep the cook involved in the fun!  Dining area and access to the large south-facing deck and back yard with gas grill will help you enjoy dining however you choose.

The deep driveway is perfect for your toys and trailers. Snowmobilers are minutes from West Mountain Road and Warren Wagon Road, as well as North Lake back country access. Boaters can launch at the McCall Marina just minutes away as well.

This home is pet friendly, but pre-approval is required in all instances. Prior to booking, please submit the pet breed, weight and age. For approved pets, there is a fee per pet. Max 2 pets at this property.

Parking is located in the garage, and in the driveway. Please do not park on the street overnight or block the street so that neighbors and emergency vehicles are unable to pass safely at any point in time.

Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved.

Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee.

Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.

Pets: Not all properties are pet friendly. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES) Where allowed, pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized.


Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property.

Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately.

Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.

Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking.

Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture.

Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities.

Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage.

Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads.

Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee.

Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for "drain and fill."

Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues.

Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers.

Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. Our family of 6 enjoyed a 4 day stay here to kick off spring break. Beautiful home in a lovely setting. The king size bed in the master bedroom has a VERY firm mattress. Some of the upstairs windows didn’t have screens, making us hesitant to crack them open at night. Sent my comments to property manager with no response.

My husband, mother and I enjoyed a wonderful stay! The cabin has everything you need if you want to just relax and stay in; however, the location and proximity to town is awesome so you can explore or grab a bite too. Communication with the property management team was top notch throughout the entire process and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. We look forward to staying here again!

We really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. Overall, the house is great and had everything we needed - very cozy and the kids loved the murphy beds. A couple things to note: the master bed is extremely hard like a board (hard memory foam), the hot water heater could not accommodate all of us and ran out of hot water, and the hot tub really needed to be drained and cleaned. No other major complaints to mention. Communication with property management was prompt and pleasant. Thank you!
