About this cabin rental

This cabin is rustic yet elegant, with a rock interior wall in the kitchen with apron sink, butcher block cabinet tops and stainless appliances. There is a grand rock wood fireplace, stained concrete floors, deep soaking tub in the master bath. The cabin has a bedroom and bath downstairs and bedroom and bath upstairs. Big covered porch on front with a newly added hot tub and patio coming off kitchen dining room.

Eagles Nest sits in the foothills of the Wichita Mountains which gives it that amazing "cabin feel". The cabin has been a home away from home for so many travelers. The cabin was wonderful. We had stayed there before. We had problems with our code not working and the VRBO app not responding. in 90° heat. Finally, after an hour we were able to reach a phone # and get a new code. Cabin great...vrbo app needs improvement. XVRBO app not responding in 90° plus heat. Finally

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean and cozy! All of the decorations were really pretty. We enjoyed our first visit to Medicine Park and would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin is very cute and beautifully decorated. Peaceful and quiet, still in perfect walking distance to Medicine Park. Very clean and well stocked, comfy beds, cozy living room. Great communication with host. Highly recommend!

Eagles Nest is a beautiful cabin close to downtown Medicine Park with walking/hiking/climbing trails behind the property. My family had such a relaxing and fun time during our 3 night stay. We'd love to stay here again in the future.

We came to Lawton for a BCT Graduation for Ft. Sill. The property is the perfect place to get away from town and have a relaxing visit, but not too far out from dining, the base and shopping. There’s not a thing I could think of that this place has forgotten to provide! It’s located amongst other cabins with a beautiful scenic backdrop of the mountains. The owner/host was extremely helpful and very kind, good people! We surely are appreciative of them!

The cabin was very clean, beautiful and up to date. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils/dishes. The washer even had hypoallergenic soap pods and dryer had dryer sheets. Bathrooms were even stocked with hypoallergenic soap, shampoo and conditioner. First aid kits available. This was one of the most well thought out cabins I've stayed in. There were some games available, also movies for the kids or movies for the adults. Upstairs is carpeted but downstairs is stained concrete so house shoes or slip on shoes are recommended. There's a built in gate to block the stairs. Very cozy seating outside with hanging lights. We did not try the hot tub but that's available with shock for cleaning. There's not a regular coffee pot but a keurig is available with the coffee, creamers, waters and snacks provided which was very nice. Medicine park is a very short distance. There's not a grocery store in medicine park right now, but there's a dollar general about 7 miles. There was also an excellent place for breakfast called Ann's place about 10 miles out. Overall this cabin was wonderful, kid friendly and in a good central location. Would love to stay again.

The Eagles Nest was exactly as described. Upstairs bedroom and downstairs bedroom gave everyone a little space of their own after all day exploring the Wildlife Refuge together. Nice to find a VRBO that would allow our puppy.

The Eagles Nest was so clean, so well furnished, so easy to get to. We really enjoyed our stay there. The place was close to town, actually walking distance and such a quiet, peaceful setting. I knida wish we'd known about the noise from Fort Sill - boom, boom, boom. But, we didn't let that dampen our enjoyment.

Our stay was great and the location of the cabin was perfect for what we needed. It’s a very short 2 min drive to town (Medicine Park downtown) and also a short drive to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. We loved exploring downtown in the evenings and hiking during the days. The home was well stocked with everything we needed, even a high chair and baby gate. Our 3 yr old son loved the hammock and finding bugs on the porch. And the hot tub was wonderful after our hikes!

We absolutely adored everything about this cozy little cabin that allowed us to have a “home” close to our solider since he couldn’t come home. We made a big family breakfast, lunch and dinner for him on family day and was able to cook in the kitchen, laugh around the table, spend quality time and so much more that a hotel wouldn’t be able to provide. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and everything we could ask for! We are beyond thankful that we found such an amazing place that was hosted by the nicest people! Thank you!

Rented while attending family day & graduation at Ft Sill. My Soldier enjoyed the hot tub. Nice, convenient, peaceful location very close to Joe Mountain Breakfast, which I recommend. The owner was great & communicated wonderfully (I usually couldn’t respond as I was driving) & gave clear check in directions. I highly recommend this VRBO & would 100% stay here again.

Property was nice. Loved being able to get away. The hot tub was ok, some of the jets did not work. The tv remotes were not working like they should, had to use the actual tv to change settings. Probably the batteries. The internet was also giving us fits. Finally got it all going. Overall it was a nice stay.

We loved the cabin and it’s location is so lovely! We stayed for a week, we took walks with our puppy and bought a tie out for him to have some freedom while we sat outside unfortunately the local kitty that hangs out was not a fan of our curious pup lol. The hot tub was perfect and they really thought of everything you could need! We would recommend this cabin to anyone who’s in town for graduation or a relaxing getaway!
