I'll start by saying the receptionist was very kind, but unable to help. A mistake was made and i was given a smoking room, instead of nonsmoking. The breezeway and my room smelt terrible. The blankets, pillows, everything. So make sure to verify nonsmoking if you want it. The pictures isn't at all what my room looked like. The remodel must've been done by drunkin, blind man. The paint "touch-ups" were a different shade, they didnt attempt to not paint the ceiling (maybe that was the look they were going for.) The flooring was all lifted as though i was walking the wobbly plank with every step i took. Ok, all cosmetic, I'll look past it. But wait, the soap must've come a collection box from a higher end hotel. You know the box that the cleaning service throws all the broken soaps into and then sells for ½ price to the lower end hotels. Otherwise, in what mindset is it ok to give not 1, but 2 packages of soap particles to guest. By soap particles, i mean, not a single bit of the soap was bigger than my fingernail. Ok, still no biggie, ill dump the particles in my hands and wash. Now, I'm limited on space for the rest of my review so I'll make it short and sweet. -Remote didn't work. -Bathtub faucet was broken and just spun in circles so no hot shower. -Plenty of towels, rags, and hand towels -Bed was comfy, with good (but smelly) bedding so i did say a slight prayer that they were actually changed. -Pillows were all very flat, so bring your own. -AC worked well too

Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the motel when we checked in we walked in the room it smelt like old dirty laundry the bed was real hard no pillow top mattress cheap no microwave no fridge the place was just nasty would love to get a full refund but they have refused.

Hotel shares space with Motel 8 ... Red Roof on one end, the Motel 8 on the other. We arrived late at night and couldn't find the office. The room was adequate for the price ... a bed and a shower, but nothing too impressive. No one was available at the window at check-out time, so I just slid the room keys under the window and left.

For the age of the building and the price it’s not too bad, but they could work a little harder on some of the cosmetics—broken tile, trim, painted over mirror, big gap under the door, etc. The main win for me was a fresh smelling, clean room with a good bed and everything worked as it should.

I was pleasantly surprised about this property. It was one of the least expensive places, but it was just me and just needed a place to crash for the night. The room was clean with new bedspread and had a kitchen table, fridge and microwave. I thought this was a tremendous value.

I am a 6' tall guy. The shower barely reached my chest - meaning i had to bend a ways to wash my hair and face. There were roaches and a millipede that came out in the AM. The curtains had holes in them that let in light and there was actual dirt in a corner of the room. Beds were hard but functional.

Property is outdated and run down. One of our beds was hard as a rock and the other was broken right in the middle. Room also had a hole in the floor that was just covered with vinyl flooring that popped up. They gave us a smoking room and I asked for non-smoking as my wife is allergic. Also had to put down $100 cash deposit which I was never aware of prior to check in. That tells you what kind of place this is. Needless to say, we checked out early. Wouldn’t recommend this place and will not stay there again.

Bed was horrible. Hard as a rock. Discovered the next morning that sheets and blanket had blood stains in them so were obviously dirty. Was just too tired to notice beforehand. Was nauseous thinking about it. Ridiculous to pay $146 for this hotel. Made us pay a $100 cash deposit, but did give it back.

The comforter had stains on it. No pillow cases. Gave me the wrong room. Then they switched my room. Had bed bugs. Booked two nights. Only stayed 1. Cops were there who knows what happened. Definitely never staying again

Would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. Very dirty rooms, stained sheets, mud on the bed skirt, dingy towels, HORRIBLE water pressure. We were there with baseball and last minute. every where else was sold out or we would have went elsewhere and paid double.

I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, but it was the only hotel that had two beds in a room available because of graduation weekend. The room was clean, had a fridge and microwave, but it reeked of smoke, even though it was supposedly a non-smoking room (there were cigarette burns on the tub edge). The shower head only came up to my nose, so that was a challenge. The people hanging around between this motel and Motel 6 were loud. The bed was hard. Just not a great experience overall.

It was a quick in and out trip. Truly just needed somewhere to lay our head for the night. For the money it was exactly as I expected. Had wifi and tv. The refrigerator was loud so we unplugged it since we didn’t need it. The bedspread did have a burn hole and a couple of small stains. Other thank that as expected.

Very clean!!!!!! Love the new rooms that are easy to disinfect. Vinyl flooring, furniture great condition.Red Rood need to advertise How clean this Inn has complied with Covid standards.Great Job

We stayed here because we evacuated from our town with our dogs. It was a good check in but think maybe some of the other people are long term, don't know. We got an upstairs room and could hear the noise from the kids next room over. The shower drizzled, the bed was clean, and no carpet on the floor, that was a plus. Check out was good too. Hopefully we'll get more time to find hotels that accept pets.

Wendy was perfect! Housekeepers always nice, asking us if we needed anything. I would recommend coming here especially for the price. I had to stay for a few weeks due to relocation, and they were always polite and went over and beyond for any issues I had.

My father needed a place to stay For 2 nights ASAP . Before I could get to Corsicana. Yes I was trying to find the cheapest place, but by all means I had no idea the condition I sent him too. It was 10 pm when I called red roof inn while the nicest gentleman named Carlos I spoke to and explained the situation he took really good care of my dad and took him to his room. My father then told me once I got him to my house the conditions of the guest room., The carpet is filthy and was split he didn’t care about that ,but holes in the wall or poorly patched,but roaches at least 12 that he could see were alive, alot were dead on the floor or Almost dead (yes they obviously sprayed for them). He said the door looked like it had been kicked in from the top and the bottom at one point and didn’t know how to even locked. I called last night when I heard about that to talk to somebody. The woman who answered said she was sorry but they have not had any complaints like that and asked why my father didn’t let them know so they could’ve moved him to another room? I said well when they all be like that if one would like that she was not impressed with that statement. She at that point said again she was sorry but what is the point of my phone call? At that point I said I would like the owner to call me tomorrow. I never do reviews but I’m disgusted by her non caring about an elderly man who just needed safe clean place. I know they are called roadside Motel for a reason. But RRI ?
