Enjoyed our week. Everything was in the house you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to town for coffee or to visit the shops. Our last night was spent with Hurricane Hone passing by the Big Island. But we felt snug and safe.

We came Hawi for a family reunion. This property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond when I had a question (prior to stay). I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and pleasant! Loved our stay!

There's only one improvement I suggest, the shower/tub needs a non slip foot mat to eliminate possible falls.
Other than that, it was outstanding in every way. The privacy, the little town less than a block away, and the amazing amenities were absolutely the best. If we decide to return to the Big Island again, we'll try to book it again, and I'm going to let a few couples we know the information about they can enjoy it like we did !

A perfect little place near the quiet little town of Hawi. This cottage had all the conveniences with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a large lanai for having our coffee in the morning.

A beautiful, peaceful small town setting. The house is beautiful, well equipped with anything and everything you could need. A great place to get away from the tourist attractions but close enough to great snorkeling, whale watching and beaches.

This is such a great property: secluded, yet just a five minute walk to Hawi, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including plenty of fluffy towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella and boogie boards, everything you need to cook great meals, including a nice gas grill, even insulated bags for trips to the grocery store. Hawi is a quiet and charming little town, and you can't beat coffee in the afternoon at the coffee shop. And, plenty of nice lighting and a couple of nice recliners to make reading in the evening a pleasure. (Poor lighting is one of my pet vacation rentals peeves - but NO issue with that here. Bravo.)

Super clean, quiet, well supplied, well located house with a covered porch (lanai) about 5-7 minute walk to main road- coffee shop, restaurants, organic grocery store, post office, other stores etc. Short hike down the road to the Pratt Road trail- hike and bicycle. Lots of beach towels- even some from Turkey-so impressed we ordered our own from the supplier. Mango tree and orange tree in yard- Oranges were ripe and got ok to pick- best oranges. Easy drive to hiking trail and Mahukona swim area- early morning swim and saw rays, dolphins and fish!
Only downsides- were the free roaming roster(s) that were alarm clock, early rises- 4:45 am, 5:30 am and 6:15 am- Was told they were escapees from a barn. -neighborhood dogs that were in gated yards let everyone know you were walking by on the road- bow wow!

My brother in law and nephew said the home was very relaxing and comfortable. Their 5 day stay was exceptional. My brother in law grew up on Oahu and now he wants to move back after this recent trip.

This house is perfectly comfortable for 2. Eveything clean and neat. For us, perfectly located for our purposes, but easy access to anywhere in the north of the Big Island. Supplied with beach gear and towels and wash/dry. Not far from resort or State Park beaches. Peaceful lanai and location in general. Hawi town is charming. North Kohala full of history.Come home to relax, eat-in. Then enjoy the Big Island all over again. Mahalo for the conveniences.

Overall stay was great! The attention to detail and cleanliness was amazing. Michelle was accommodating and helpful to our individual needs. We had an issue with the sink and she had it fixed right away. We stayed 6 days and it was perfect for our family. We would enjoy staying there again!

This 2 bedroom was perfect for our needs. Huge lanai that we spent a bunch of time relaxing on in the mornings and evenings. Place had everything we needed and was located within easy walking distance to shops/restaurants. Extremely clean and well appointed. I would not hesitate to stay again!!

We stayed in this lovely Hawaiian cottage for almost 3 weeks. Everything was clean, decorated very nicely, comfortable beds, large deck, good Wifi and the couple that manage the property (who live next door) were so helpful, friendly and prompt in fixing a few minor issues that we had. They were also helpful with some local information that we wouldn't have had access to without talking to them. Loved the mother hens with their broods of baby chicks, growing older by the week. Would definitely consider another stay, very interesting to stay in a local neighbourhood as opposed to the resort areas.

This beautiful cottage is immaculately offered and very comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated. Peacefully nestled in lush tropical landscaping and you awake to the sounds of so many exotic birds and the delightful rooster that sweetly lets you know it’s morning.
Conveniently located to downtown Hawi with all of the little shops and galleries, but still enjoy the peace and quiet of country living, Hawaii style.
Couldn’t be more delighted to have gotten to enjoy this special little spot in Paradise!
I will most definitely be back!
Much Aloha,
Sheila

Our 3 night stay here was perfect. We enjoyed our evenings on the covered lanai, had fun picking a few tangerines and loved the quiet nights. They had everything we needed and it was super close to the event we had booked for the weekend. Would definitely stay here again.
