Perfect 😊

All details have been thought of, it’s well presented, comfortable and it was lovely to spend time here. It is right near the bus stop into the city, the canal walk into the city is also just round the corner. The parking space is great. I highly recommend this gorgeous little cottage for a stay in Bath.

Beautiful little house in great location, perfect for families

What a beautiful little house! Great location, short drive or bus ride into Bath. After a day out we came back and walked across the river to The Bathampton Mill pub one evening. The house itself has everything you could need. Beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. Our girls, 6 & 12, loved the board games and all the treats left for us. We were sad we couldn’t stay longer!

Brilliant - we loved it!

The accommodation was superb. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming with a lovely hamper full of goodies, and milk, orange juice and butter in the fridge. The decor was very tasteful and everything was very well catered for with fluffy towels, lovely bed linen and soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

The only thing we found quite tricky was the lane to and from the property is quite narrow with parked cars along one side. It was difficult to manoeuvre our large car (BMW 7 Series) but we managed and the parking space at the actual property was more than adequate.

Perfect stay

The house was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and had everything you could need for break away. The communication from the host was brilliant before our stay and during. They certainly know how to make their guests feel special. The extra touches like the welcome board, hamper, and toiletries to use whilst there, just completed the experience. The house is in a lovely village just outside of Bath, but you can easily drive into the centre, get a bus, or walk along the river/canal. There are also other beautiful places to visit, like Lacock and Catle Combe, within a short driving distance. I can definitely recommend staying here 😊

Lovely 3 Night Stay in Beautifully Presented Home

We had a wonderful stay at Julie and Matthew’s place. It was exactly as advertised and even included a couple of lovely extras that we weren’t expecting. Parking was easy and the house was beautifully presented for our arrival. It is a straight forward 10 minute drive into central Bath with bus stops right out the front of that is your preference. Being a little bit out of the city centre means that it is an easy drive to see other sights around Bath. We didn’t manage to do the canal walk into town, so we have a perfect excuse to return next time we are in the UK.

Spotless property. Would stay again.

Property was spotless, in particular the bathroom and downstairs loo, and well equipped. Welcome basket containing milk and butter plus some treats was really helpful.

The property was excellent. The only room for improvement would be a rubber mat for the bath.

Superb cottage to stay.

Beautifully furnished two bedroom apartment just outside Bath. Home away from home. Handy to Bath township, very very quiet considering it was by the main road. Lovely courtyard. Bus stop to town short walk away. Nice pub just over the river 10 min walk. Well stocked kitchen. Would recommend it to family and friends. Thank you 🙏

Parking can be a tight squeeze with a big car but we managed fine.

Amazing!

Everything about this cottage was just exceptional, starting with the welcome box on arrival. Very clean, spacious and has everything you need, it was a joy to stay in. The location is wonderful for country walks and it's an easy commute to the centre of bath.

A really fantastic property in a beautiful location with extremely helpful hosts.

Immaculate property in a fantastic location with parking and lots of lovely touches like a basket full of delicious treats and milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge. The views from the back bedroom window are stunning. very easy to get into town with a bus stop right by the property and very regular buses that run until late. Lovely walks from the property and great places to eat just down the road.

Butgess Yard felt like a beautiful home away from home.

Burgess Yard was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Julie and Matthew have thought of everything for a comfortable and convenient stay, everything from coffee pods to board games! They were really communicative and helpful. Burgess Yard has 2 parking spots, it’s around a 10 min drive to the centre of Bath, we chose to drive and park but there is also a bus.

close to where we wanted to stay. Bath centre was about a 45 min walk (which was lovely). Longleat about 35 mins away!

Exceptional

The property is in a peaceful location with easy access to plenty of beautiful walks. The parking space was a bonus. The accommodation was well equipped with everything you need - all the little details had been thought of. It was absolutely spotless and cleaned to an exceptional standard. The hamper of goodies and other extras left by the owners were a lovely gesture and very generous. Everything was just perfect - we hope to return one day. The owners deserve every success with their business. Thank you very much.

There wasn't anything negative to say about this accommodation. It was just wonderful.

A home away from home.

A beautifully presented home with carefully considered touches to make our stay comfortable. A lot of thought had gone into the small details which often gets overlooked in holiday accommodation. Our hamper was generously filled with delicious goodies which made us feel very welcome. Located in a lovely part of Bath, had a quiet village feel to the area. Highly recommend.
