Layover

The hotel was fairly modern and it has a nice rooftop restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

There was a miscommunication and the shuttle was delayed which felt unsafe. The location was central but it wasn’t too safe to be out there alone.

There's better than this in the city

This hotel is less than 5 years old and has a nice rooftop bar area where breakfast is served. The staff are friendly and polite and when I asked to move to a higher floor they were more than willing to oblige. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and cotton sheets. Plenty of freebies in the bathroom if you like that sort of thing.

My principal grump about this place was that the "suite" of two rooms was so dark and gloomy with only a tiny window in the living room onto the fire escape let in almost no light. The balcony off the bedroom was better but in effect I only used the bedroom. The TV in the living room never worked despite my request to fix it. The kitchen had zero equipment not even a knife and a plate so was a pointless feature. So there's no point in taking a suite a regular room would serve just as well. Breakfast was a dull repetitive buffet with bit so fresh pastries, some sad looking salad and on request rancid butter for the toast and jam.

There’s no hot water in the showers. Sometimes if you reduce the speed if the water to almost a trickle you could get lukewarm water.

Cleanliness and the staff was friendly

The breakfast was limited they need to add more variety also we had to pay more money at the end of our stay because they said something about room rates changing I found that odd because we already paid the rate the first day I came so I thought that was a bit of a ripoff Also the staff was every time asking about why didn’t we eat all our meals at the hotel which I found a little annoying because we can eat where we like we come to explore different dishes and the hotel has limited menu anyways. Also we was told we couldn’t bring food from outside and to eat from the hotel 😌

I couldn't have asked for more with my stay at the Triple E, I had a pleasant 7 days break

The Room Service, Bar, Spa/Sauna facilties were great also breakfast was good. Moreover, I found the staff very friendly.

Lovely new hotel

The hotel is very newly renovated and appointed, everything is very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed very comfy. We had a small balcony on the 7th floor with a great view of the city around (room 708 if you want to request it, not all rooms have balconies). No Aircon or fan in the room but we never needed it with night in Addis being very cool. There's drinking water provided, a kettle and teabags. The breakfast is great with a selection of fresh local Ethiopian food and the coffee is excellent. The WiFi worked very well throughout. The spa is very pleasant as well: visits to the sauna or steam room are free (included in hotel room rate) and massages (very nice) start from 800-1000 birr for 1h. The hotel provides a free shuttle from and to the airport, which is super helpful. There's a rooftop terrace with a bar, though at the time we stayed there it was being repaired (loudly). Overall definitely recommended, great value for money.

The area around the hotel is dodgy, especially after dark. Don't walk alone, get a taxi (ask reception or order with the app Ride). Taxi to meskel square or piazza was 250-300 birr. It was a little tricky to explain to drivers where the hotel was on the way back, no one seems to know it, but you can manage with a map on your phone. There is technically room service available but there's no menu either in the rooms nor in the restaurant (one of the waiters just said "we have everything"?) so this could definitely be improved. The one major flag is that it seems there's a club or party on the last floor that opens on Friday night, with super loud music and people noise being heard very clearly on the 7th floor. We left Friday night so not sure how long it went on for, but if you're staying over the weekend and want a quiet night, tell reception to give you a room on a quieter floor.

Nice hotel with excellent staff.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Complimentary airport transfer. Nice breakfast. Hotel bar. Also has a gym and beauty salon. Personally, I found the location ok, it's not salubrious but I didn't feel in any danger walking around. It's not far from the airport but a bit out of the city centre. There's a nice local bar just before the hotel entrance.

Shower was only lukewarm. Rooms ending with 1 to 4 are a bit noisy with neighbourhood barking dogs throughout the night. Book a room ending in 7 to 9.

I stayed for a month and half

I love this place so much! This hotel provide a luxurious and relaxing experience for guests. From elegant decor to comfortable accommodations, it's a beautiful hotel and creates a pleasant atmosphere for visitors to enjoy their stay. Additionally, it has well-designed spa with a range of rejuvenating treatments and amenities, such as massages, facials, saunas, and gym allowing guests to unwind and pamper themselves, plus it has amazing roof top Bar. Very good breakfast, including omelette on request. Staff attitude very positive.

Processing of standard payments by front desk could be faster, although it was not slower than average in Ethiopian hotels. Location in area that is uninviting to explore on foot.

Exceptional

It was very clean. They have warm water and very good water pressure. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful too, which meant a lot to me as navigating the city was rather difficult in the beginning. I stayed for an entire month and I was very happy with both the service and the amenities. There's a tiny park nearby (Shala park, maybe 15 mins walking) which is a nice place to eat and drink on the weekends. I haven't had issues around the area when walking, there are plenty of shops and restaurants around too so you can get whatever you need. Admittedly, I haven't been out walking at night at all so no experience on how that might work out.

the location is very bad , yes it’s close to bole but in an insecure area where everybody was advising me not to walk there

Very good

It’s more recommendation. I would market the rooftopterrace more. I don’t see any photos on booking nor is it known by the local public. If I were the owner I would definitely market this also to locals who wants to enjoy a nice evening on a roofterrace.

Breakfast is for internationals too much Ethiopian minded.

My experience was Perfect. I go there again as far as the price remain fair.

My experience is Perfect, even they help me to get me diabetic friendly meal per my request. I would like to thank all kitchens staff specially "Dave-Dawit" the Sheff and all property staff from the manager to security the best hospitality. And I want to mention Sinidu and all reception staff they are the reason for me to stay more days. I would like to thank all staff they gave me full attention and care when I was ill for few days. Honestly speaking "Triple E Hotel and SPA " is the place where you feel home with complete package of service. Special thanks for the SPA(massage) ladies also. Oh, the shuttle service deriver's also very responsible and caring, Miss the greeting and smiling of all Security officers.

The kitchen in the room was empty but they help us to have some kitchen utensils. they need to work with that before the guest checked in to room.

Superb

Everything in the hotel is new. Staff is friendly and most of them speak good English. Free airport shuttle, which is a big bonus. Very nice terrace.

The menu at the restaurant is very limited. The location is a bit dodgy after dark.

hotel staff very polite and friendly especially Eyerusalem has been amazing and helpful, I would recommend anyone to experience this new hotel and make sure to use steam and sauna, very relaxing I recommend, definitely will be back!

Addis Ababa hospitality in action.

the property got every facilities under its roof, very nice restaurant lead by chef Daud providing a variety of food, a nice spa with very skilled staff, they doing many treatment. I have done a facial treatment which was amazing. the location is very nice where you can access many places easily, restaurants and shopping facilities. Staff were amazing helping you if help needed starting from the owner, manager, marketing officer who was excellent.

Clean and modern Hotel with excellent service

New and modern Hotel with a central and quiet location. Breakfast can be selected from a buffet or from the menu. The Gym is open 24hr so you can train when ever you like. I definitely recommend a massage in the spa area. The best thing tho, was the level of service we received. Every interaction with the staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always available to answer questions or provide recommendations, and they even went out of their way to anticipate my needs and make thoughtful gestures to enhance my stay.

I honestly liked everything about this hotel and I don't see myself staying else where.

This was my second stay at Triple-E, and I love everything about this hotel. Although they had a buffet breakfast during my last stay, this time, I ordered something I wanted from the menu ( personal preference). It was delicious.

I don't have anything that I did not like. The location, the room space, cleanness, comfortable bed, hot, powerful shower, the friendly staff, and the food were all fantastic.

Great staff and great place to stay

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my stay in Ethiopia. We really loved the character of the hotel. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. The room was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. They have amazing breakfast. The hotel drivers took us wherever we needed. We felt safe and secured.

best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms. staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is exceptional. I have stayed I never seen such a clean and delicious food in hotel before. I will definitely recommend a friend to stay there.
