About this villa rental
Set in a converted 18th-century countryside villa, a 10-minute drive from Carovigno and 5km from the nearest town, San Vito dei Normanni, Villa Magnolia offers four spacious en-suite double bedrooms, a private outdoor pool, extensive grounds and an outdoor dining area.
The rooms have high ceilings, some with the unique stone star vaulted detail which is a feature of the area. They are decorated with antique Italian furnishings in keeping with the 18th-century style. Original stone details were preserved during renovation and form an integral part of the bathrooms. Original tiles and stone flooring have been preserved throughout the villa. Each room has garden views and a bathroom with walk-in shower and a hairdryer. Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are provided for your stay.
The kitchen is a recent addition, no longer the outside wood fired oven! It has all the equipment to make your stay easy and as enjoyable as possible (dishwasher, washing machine (outside line for sun drying), stove, oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine (Nespresso), microwave and other basics. There is a table and eight seats (two bar stools at counter) in the kitchen if the weather is not ideal but we expect you will want to eat outside and enjoy the gazebo area with BBQ (Weber gas), wood fired pizza oven and seating area under the fig tree and vines.
Free WiFi and private parking is available on site. We have four mountain bikes for your use, if anyone is sporty and wants to do the morning dash for pastries to San Vito dei Normani (5km). The back gate has direct access to the small roads winding through olive trees and on to a cycling route. Additional bikes can be rented in San Vito.
Popular places to visit from the villa are Ostuni 16km, Lecce 49 km, Alberobello 46 km, Polignano a Mare 65km and Taranto 49 km. The closest beach is Torre Guaceto, a 15-minute drive from the property. When we visit Lecce, we like to add on a visit to the beautiful Torre dell'Orso beach (Blue Flag status), 26km south from Lecce. We park at Parking Belvedere (take a few euro coins to pay attendant - 2023 it was €4) at the southern end of crescent bay, not built up and more natural. From here it is a short walk to arrive at the viewpoint where you will have fabulous views of the crystal-clear water, soft sand and sea stacks, known as the The two sisters.
The nearest airport is Brindisi - Salento Airport, 17 km from the property. Bari Karol Wojtyla Airport is 100 km away. Another option is to fly to Naples and then make the 360km journey from the airport to the villa. This may give you more flexibility on airline carriers as well as give you the opportunity to lengthen your holiday with a visit to Pompeii or Herculaneum.

The Villa was beautiful. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms which was refreshing. The grounds and pool were spectacular. Communication with host - Diana and property caretakers was very easy. They are all so accommodating and above and beyond. We had a wonderful time and plenty of room for a group.

This villa had four good sized bedrooms each with their own shower room which were very modern.
Kitchen was well equipped & had everything we needed.
Parking was easy for our two large vehicles
Outside there was a lovely eating area which had a gas BBQ & original pizza oven. All of which we used.
The pool area was fantastic and we spent many hours enjoying this.
The owners clearly want you to enjoy the stay and have taken great care in providing everything you need. Any issues were dealt with immediately.
There is a one bed villa adjacent to this property which the owners occasionally use but this is separate & does not effect the privacy of your stay.
Highly reccomend !!

Our party of seven (5 adults and 2 teens) had an amazing experience at the property. We enjoyed the full sized pool, outdoor patio, and even made pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven. Bed were comfortable and the air conditioning system in each bedroom worked perfectly. All the amenities were perfectly described.

Just came back from a two week trip to Puglia Our group consisted of family and friends and a few children. Our stay at the villa was incredible. The grounds are well kept and perfectly spread out giving you plenty of privacy, an amazing pool, and an outdoor dining area to have meals under the stars. The rooms were large with an amazing bathrooms in each room. Diana was super helpful and very available. We had one or two things we needed help with and she took care of them immediately. The house is centrally located with easy access to great parts of Puglia. Overall we loved the house and can't wait to go back!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Magnolia, which began from the moment we arrived and met our host, Diana. She was extremely thoughtful and ensured we had the essentials on our arrival to see us through until we could get to the shops the next day.
The house has good proportioned rooms, in particular spacious bedrooms and well appointed ensuites. The kitchen was also well equipped and everyone loved spending time by the pool, as well as using the bikes available to explore the nearby olive groves and villages.
It was the perfect location to base ourselves and explore other parts of Puglia, would thoroughly recommend.
