About this house rental

Newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath single level home across from horse ranch, minutes to winery, brewery, dining, shopping, sporting venues (Maverick’s ice hockey, Royal’s baseball, Chiefs football,) walking/biking trails, 10 minutes to historic Truman Square and 20 minutes to Kansas City downtown.

No shoes are to be worn on carpet . A bench is by the front door for convenience and a shoe tray for wet or soiled shoes.

There is so much to enjoy in the KC area... search with your favorite browser to see all there is but here are a few favorites...

Stayed for 3 days /2 nights for Chiefs game. Location to stadium was perfect, very easy access. The pictures do not do this place justice! Very clean and well equipped.

We enjoyed the ranch-style home that sits away from hustle bustle. We enjoyed sitting on the patio for conversation. We also enjoyed watching the equestrian center horses across the street.

We were lucky enough to stumble across this vacation rental for my mom‘s 90th birthday party. We stayed there for one week and it was the perfect spot for us. It was quiet, comfortable country and country. I highly recommend and I do plan on staying there again. 😊

Had some awesome Places to check out with just a quick driveway. It was very easy to access. Not hard to find didn’t interact much with the neighbors, but they seemed very friendly Overall, a great stay

Great place to stay, away from the city while still being so close to the city. Updates inside were perfect. Nice large backyard, we had a graduation at UCM that weekend and had planned to use it for a few other family members to hang out after. We will definitely keep this on our list of places next time we are in the area.

We had a great stay! This house was perfect for us. We had up to 5 people at the house with us and it was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful quiet neighborhood, just as advertised. Out in the country but just minutes from everything you need. Well stocked, very comfortable beds, loved the showers. We used the main appliances, and all worked including the washer and dryer which was a must for our stay. Kerry was very quick to answer the few questions we had. We will definitely plan future trips to Independence when this property is available to book.

We stayed there for a weekend and really enjoyed it. Communication with the property owners was easy and they got back to me with any questions right away. It’s in a nice quiet kinda private area! The inside has been updated and really cute with that country home feel! We would recommend!

The property was as described and perfect for our visit. We really like the location of the property. It's out away from the city but still very close. The process of checking in and out went smooth. Overall the property was a good fit for the three of us and will be at the top of our list for our next KC visit.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the Independence area. Close to lots of retail, but far enough out to enjoy the scenery, the peace and quiet, and take a beautiful walk. We would definitely return to stay if in the Independence area again. Highly recommended.

did not get the note for the code to the side door until the morning we were leaving. So we had to use the icy sidewalk, front step, and porch also icy. Paid the cleaning deposit, walked around inside and found couple of trash pieces in the kitchen and some food bits in the front bathroom. Bed in bedroom next to master bedroom the bed from is very loose, no bag in trash can in this room. No instructions for the electric fire place. Big clock in the entry not set to correct time. Mostly very nice house and area.

3 of us stayed at Kerrys pace for about a month while we were working in Kansas City. Place was immaculately clean, and in a nice quiet neighborhood, and the price was a really good value. Would stay again.

House was as advertised. House was updated, very good condition, and clean. My 2 grandkids enjoyed the big front and back yards. We had no problems, but the host was quick to respond to a request we did have. We would definitely stay here again if the need arises.

We loved staying at your home! We came in town with our daughter and her family for a wedding! This was a perfect location for us. Our grandsons loved the big yard to run around in! Each morning we would look out the big picture window and watch the horses graze. The back patio was a nice spot to unwind! The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean! The kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend this location to friends....! Thank you so much! God bless you!

This property truly summarizes "home away from home". We live in a peaceful and quiet country location that is minutes from everything and this location was exactly the same. Beautifully remodeled with all the modern amenities on a well manicured lot. Our 1st time to a KC Chiefs game and the experience was incredible from the house and location to the surrounding area. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and sights to visit all most less than 30 minutes away. Already discussing our next trip here and the availability of this location will determine our time-line of when we return.

We came in a day before a Chiefs game. The property was great. My son and I had a catch in the big yard and found a nice golf course nearby for a round. Getting to the stadium and back was a breeze. The house was perfect!

This property is great. It was a women's trip with my mom, sister and our daughters. The house exceed our expectations. The host was prompt in regards to any questions I had. I will definitely recommend this property to stay at if you are in the area. We loved the privacy, cleanness, and quietness the home provided while been close to shopping and entertainment. Great stay in a perfect location. Close to everything, so convenient yet also in the quiet country. Only gripe but so minor is the internet, WiFi was inconsistent at best. Fix that and 100% satisfied.

This place was just off the beaten path. The location was perfect with a country feel. Everything was about 10 mins away for all of our needs. Very cozy and clean. Def will stay again when going back to the KC area.

This was an amazing home that was true to its description. It was just minutes away from anything we wanted to do in the city but gave us that quiet and safe setting we were looking for during our stay. The host was extremely friendly and very responsive to my messages which made the check in process a breeze! The house was immaculate and provided everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the walk in shower in the main bathroom was wonderful. The kitchen provided us everything we could have needed during our stay, including a nice table where we could sit and play cards in the evenings. I definitely recommend this property and will be booking again on our next trip to Kansas City!

Very nice property minutes away from the hustle and bustle! Property was very clean and had all supplies we forgot to bring. Perfect for our family that shows livestock to have some space in each room! Beds are very comfortable and kitchen had all supplies! And the best part. Washer and dryer! We will be back!
