Un séjour très agréable

Des hôtes très agréables et serviables qui savent recevoir dans les meilleurs conditions. Logement sympathique et très calme à 2 pas de la plage et des commerces. Je recommande ce logement pour tous les voyageurs qui recherchent de la tranquillité. J'ai vraiment passé un très bon séjour ! Un grand Merci à eux !

A Jewel!

Inner light lodge is an oasis of peace, serenity and harmony located in a central position, very close to the beach and the various restaurants. We loved the silence, the spaciousness of the rooms equipped with all comforts, the veranda where a rich breakfast prepared by the hosts with cake and fruit was served. Last but not least, the possibility of a yoga class in the morning which Federica leads with professionalism and care. Highly recommended

Spacieux et près de la plage

Les chambres sont très spacieuses, avec une grande chambre, un espace salon/cuisine et une salle de bain. L’air climatisée fonctionne bien. Le patio est bien aménagé et confortable. Les hôtes sont sympathiques et accueillants. L’hôtel est situé à quelques pas de la plage et il y a un supermarché juste en face. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux! J’ai apprécié le cours de yoga le matin. Il y a beaucoup de plantes sur le site, ce qui donne un peu de fraîcheur.

Le stationnement est trop petit. Il n’est fait que pour 2 voitures et nous étions 3. La 3e voiture devait bloquer les deux autres voitures pour se stationner et nous devions nous organiser pour savoir qui va devant et qui va derrière pour pouvoir sortir. Le site est assez petit et on a l’impression de déranger les propriétaires sur leur balcon lorsqu’on se baigne dans la piscine. L’eau de la piscine est vraiment froide, car il n’y a presque pas de soleil qui s’y rend. Il faut passer sur le coin de la piscine pour se rendre à notre chambre, ce que je trouvais un petit peu dangereux de tomber dedans. Nous avions quelques fourmis dans la salle de bain. Au final, nous avons trouvé ce séjour un peu cher pour ce que c’était.

I would stay again. The owners are warm and friendly people.

The hosts were wonderful and the morning free yoga class was fantastic Many good restaurants in walking distance. Lovely hammock outside the door to read in and table and chairs outside to have breakfast that is delivered to your room.

It was great except for the outside noise

The facilities are tight but well maintained. The owners are great and the breakfast was perfect. I enjoyed the yoga classes, it was a great way to start the day.

It is located on a very busy street so there is lots of traffic noise.

Frederica and Roberto are the most wonderful and gracious hosts.

The 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms was spacious and bright. The pool area was beautiful and serene. The daily yoga class was wonderful and perfect for all levels of yoga expertise. The property is a short walk to the beach and all the lovely restaurants along the beach.

The property is located on a busy street which at times could be noisy.

Peaceful, gorgeous retreat in the heart of Samara - Paradise!

This new hotel is a slice of paradise. The grounds are gorgeous. There are only three apartments being rented and the owners live on the property, so the place is a peaceful retreat. Going to yoga is not necessary, but the daily sessions were fantastic. Every day, the owners serve breakfast on your private patio. The pool is clean and the setting couldn't be more beautiful. The apartments are very well appointed with everything you need for cooking. They also provided beach towels and yoga mats.

This is not really a negative, but because of the hotel's vibe as a retreat, guests are not allowed on the property. That may be a problem for some people, but not for us.

Samara is a special place off the beaten path. Inner light yoga lodge is a gem within. I highly recommend it.

Inner Light is a gem of a location tucked away in the heart of Samara just a short walk to the beach. The apartment has all the amenities one could want. Federica offers a gentle yoga class each morning, followed by a delicious breakfast served on your private patio. Not only did I relax, but it was a wonderful place to get a lot of work done without interruption.

A yoga retreat oasis from reality!

A little slice of heaven, especially inspired by an excellent flow yoga teacher who specializes in understanding energy. There is yoga every morning at 7 AM followed by a delicious breakfast right by the pool. Even if you have never done yoga, you will be surprised at how much you can learn, and how energized you will feel. A 5 min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches anywhere has very warm water and perfect waves for body surfing. This place is an oasis from reality!

It was the perfect place to relax and recuperate, and to discover the natural wonders of Costa Rica.

Federica and Roberto were very welcoming and generous. They offer beautifully designed guest suites, provide delicious and healthy breakfasts on the private terraces, and keep the rooms and pool impeccably clean. But, even more than that, their sincere interest in giving their clients a peaceful and rich holiday experience in Samara is clearly evident. Federica offers a daily yoga class that is designed to ease guests into each day and is accessible to all skill levels. She and Roberto are both kind and engaging, and also respect their guests’ privacy. Their property, from the yoga terrace, to the lush gardens, to the refreshingly cool pool, is a serene and beautiful oasis in the middle of town.

Wonderful oasis in Samara full of peace with the best hosts!

We stayed 6 nights (we had originally booked 4 nights and ended up staying 6 nights as we did not want to leave and there was a last minute cancellation that allowed us to stay 2 extra nights). We would have stayed longer if we hadn’t planned other destinations on our trip. This is such and amazing place, a true hidden gem with such lovely hosts Federica and Roberto (and their children) who made us feel at home. Yoga every morning with Federica was a blessing and the best way to start the day calm and energized. Federica has been teaching yoga for 25 years and she is AMAZING. I had never experienced this yoga practice (Odaka yoga inspired by the movement of the ocean). The breakfast carefully prepared by Roberto was delicious and healthy! The appartement was so clean, peaceful and well decorated to bring calmness. Well equipped to cook some nights and eat out on our private terrasse. The bed was super comfortable and we slept so well! Very nice pool area and very private as there are not too many guests staying at the lodge at once. I took a Reiki session with Federica and I felt so calm and grounded after. The location is perfect with everything within walking distance (beach, farmers market on Saturdays, supermarkets, restaurants, etc). Federica recommended some great places and restaurant to visit and Barigona beach was one of our favorite place we discovered. We highly recommend staying at the the Yoga Innerguidinglight lodge and can’t wait to return and stay once more with Federica and Roberto. Thank you for everything! We will be missing you! amazing stay in Samara. beautiful property.

Amazing stay. wished we booked for more than one night. the apartment was very comfortable and clean. the property is stunning and very well taken care of. Federica and Roberto are the sweetest people. 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants and bars in Samara.

If/when I come back to Samara, there’s no other place, I can imagine staying!

Fredericka is a superb hostess whose beautiful inner Light was felt by us in every aspect of our stay at her lodge. From the delicious healthful homemade copious breakfasts to the immaculate, thoughtful decor of the rooms everything was perfect.

The owner lives on the groundfloor, she was realy friendly and help us a lot. She is a Yoga teacher and we had a very nice Yoga session every morning.
