We had a wonderful stay at this clean, comfortable, and very spacious house! We were a group of 4 adults with 9 fourteen year old girls looking for a place to play games, splash in the water, sing around the campfire and enjoy the area. All the details about the house and amenities are exactly as given. We were pleased to use the lilypad, paddle board, kayaks even though we had lots of wind and unseasonably cool weather. The cornhole game in the "kids camp" lower level was a hot spot with a tournament when the outdoor weather wasn't great. About a 15 minute drive to downtown Walker.

Very spacious for our family. Absolutely loved the accessibility of the dock and the kayaks. Entertained my grandkids for hours. Great place for the kids to snorkel. The view on the deck made it so easy to watch them swim below. The walk back up the hill from the lake to the house does require quite a bit of energy .

This was a wonderful location for a joint family vacation. It was my family and my brother's family. We had kids ranging from 4-19. They loved it. We did too. Highly recommend. The place is beautiful and huge! We had lots of room to spread out, which is great for two families!

Beautiful place with nicely decorated rooms and a gorgeous living room area and kitchen! Beautiful view! Clean rooms and nicely furnished with dishes for cooking, beautiful porch and deck! Did not realize there was no sandy beach that smaller children could enjoy but did swim off dock. Some small perch but one son caught a big northern! Thanks again for a great stay!

Basement set up for kids. They loved having their own place to hang out. So did the adults at times…
Boat lift.
Great cabin.

We arrived at the home to find knee deep grass and waist high weeds throughout the yard. Anyone who ventured into the yard was covered in ticks. I contacted the host immediately on Friday and the lawn was mowed the following Monday.
The exterior of the house is in rough condition.
Inside the home it was very dirty. We had to sweep and mop all the floors, and there were dead bugs and dust on all counters and bedroom end tables. The garage was full of misc. construction materials and the garage fridge looked like it had been recovered from the bottom of the lake.
The yard down to the fire pit and dock was very steep, so anyone with mobility issues could not get to the water.
There was new stairs and dock leading to the lake.
We could not use the kayaks or canoe as they were full of water/mud/insects.
The amenities/decor of the home were nice but dated. There were plenty of rooms to accommodate a large group.

Our group of eleven men used the property for a three day get away to fish on Leech Lake. As recommended by the hosts, nearby Trapper's Landing was extremely accommodating to arrange the boat slips and trailer storage we needed. The well equipped kitchen facility had everything our "cook" needed to provide daily breakfast and dinner for everyone. The great room and kitchen comfortably accommodated our large group. If we return to Leech Lake, we will definitely want to stay here again.

This is the first trip with just siblings & spouses. People flew in from CA, drove from WI & we are from the Cities. What an AMAZING lake home & quality time together! Everything was above expectations!
We are already planning next year's trip & we hope to stay here again. Thank You for being part of what will become a tradition!

We loved our week in this beautiful home! We arrived to find a well cleaned and maintained home. Rick was very easy to contact as needed and quick to respond. We would highly recommend this location for a family or large group...it's BETTER than advertised! The only minor recommendation for Rick would be to change or add additional deck furniture to be able to enjoy the sunsets. If the cry of the loon brings us back to the north woods, we hope to stay here again.

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. There was more than enough space to fit 12 men. The cabin has enough distance to provide privacy from the neighboring houses. Rick was responsive and great to work with.

I booked this house for my parents and got to visit with them while they stayed there. The house was clean, comfortable, and well managed. It’s the perfect spot for sitting on the deck and enjoying the view of the lake and it’s well set up for families with a great space for kids downstairs. Would love to come back for a family trip.
