About this apartment rental
Hidden in plain sight along the pedestrianised Via Garibaldi, this lovely apartment offers a large open layout with a combined kitchen and living room topped with an open mezzanine level that houses the bed. The setup makes it ideal for a couple or a small family looking to explore the grand boulevards, cobbled streets, and ancient ruins of this often overlooked northern Italian gem.
The city is best explored on foot, with Piazza Castello, the heart of the historic centre, a five-minute walk away. Visitors to the square will be treated to stunning baroque structures, including the Palazzo Reale and Palazzo Madama. Napoleon so coveted the latter that he turned it into his local residence.
A little further on are the Giardini Reali di Torino, home to elegant gardens, 18th-century sculptures and a playground to entertain any little ones you might have in tow. When Saturday morning rolls around (and every second Sunday), we'd suggest strolling a kilometre north to the Balon Flea Market. This maze of 250 stalls draws visitors in search of antique furniture, vintage clothes and collectable trinkets.
